I initially found Dr. Jason Khadavi, DPM here on Yelp and, since he had such great reviews, decided to give his practice a try. It was my first time choosing a doctor through Yelp, so I was a little nervous, but I'm so glad I did. I originally went in for orthotics. The first pair didn't work well for me, but he quickly identified the issue and had me come right back in to re-scan my feet. He had a new & different pair created for me that worked far better, and I really appreciated how proactive and committed he was to getting it right. When I could no longer walk because of the pain my bunion was causing me, a friend told me about Dr. K. Not only is he conservative in his thinking, he is one of the most empathetic doctors I have been to in all my senior years. As I was closing my eyes at the beginning of surgery, I told Dr. Khadavi I was nervous. He pulled over a chair, sat down, took my hand in his and said very comforting, reassuring things as I fell asleep. I NEVER took a pain pill, not even a Tylenol. I walked out of the surgery in a surgical shoe and didn't have to deal with a cast. I was in a sneaker just a couple of weeks later. Had an appointment yesterday. Had seen two other podiatrists who didn't really explain too well about my plantar fasciitis and posterior tibial tendonitis so I was in pain and confused. Dr Khadavi explained to my wife and me what was going on explained the treatments and answered all of our questions. I would say he's was without doubt the most knowledgeable doctor I have seen about my condition and also knew exactly where it hurt on examination which the other doctors didn't.
