You were the first and only surgeon to operate on my toes, so this was not a revision case. Second, while you noted that scars are "inevitable," my review did not claim otherwise -- only that I was left with visible scars, which is true regardless of their location. The incision was made on the bottom of my toe, and while not immediately visible to others, it is still a scar I live with. Additionally, I reached out multiple times through the Spruce app regarding my concerns, and the responses I received were dismissive -- essentially that there was "no need to worry" because delayed nail growth was normal due to trauma. Unfortunately, my toenail has never grown back normally since, leaving me with a daily reminder of an outcome worse than before surgery. At the end of the day, I am sharing my experience as the patient who underwent the procedure. The original issue I came in for was not corrected, I developed a permanently deformed toenail, and I now have scars. While I respect your years of experience, dismissing my review as lacking integrity because it does not reflect well on your practice feels unprofessional. Update: After I posted this review I received a very verrrrry long obsessive response from the doctor that made me certain that I dodged a bullet. I've also been contacted privately by other patients that have had even worse experiences than I have had. BEWARE. (Also, it's really obvious that he has friends and family write reviews for him. They don't seem genuine at all. I wish I looked closer before booking an appointment.) When I walked in I noticed that the environment was very pleasant. It felt very spa-like. The receptionists were very nice. The doctor was also very warm but I couldn't get passed the aggressiveness with which he pushed a certain treatment on me for my big toe pain. I asked him if it was covered by insurance because I couldn't figure out why there was such a hard sell. He said the procedure (P.R.P injections) were covered and sent me to a lady in their back office to schedule the appointment. I asked HER if the procedure was covered and she said yes but with less confidence, raising my eyebrow. I scheduled an appointment for two weeks later and asked her to check with my insurance before I come in. I was not in a position to pay out-of-pocket. Two weeks later they called to confirm the appointment for the procedure and I asked about insurance. The lady hemmed and hawed. I was always clear that if it wasn't covered, I wasn't doing it. She called me something like 4 times that day with various reasons why I should do the procedure and find out about insurance after the fact. It got AGGRESSIVE!! I checked with an orthopedic surgeon friend and he said 90% of the time it's out-of-pocket and that I was being duped. Beware of the hard sell. read more

I cannot say enough about Dr Ali Sadrieh and his staff. I had bad hammertoe and bunion surgeries on both feet Had corrective surgery on right foot which left me worse off. Left foot moved after two years. Pain and cramping and just awful. I looked everywhere for someone who could rebuild my toes. Some drs wouldn't touch it. Some were willing to "try" something with no previous experience. I found Dr Ali online. Researched and he was doing the surgeries I needed. Talked with Shu Shu (office manager who is AWESOME) and she arranged for me to send over X-rays. Had extensive discussions with him via phone after sending. Scheduled surgery. We did my right foot 1.5 years ago. Followed with my left foot 1 year ago. I waited this long to review so I could give a fair representation of the experience and results. First, Dr Ali is one of the most dedicated, committed, patient and kind doctors I've ever met. He and his staff make everything easy, and I traveled there from Midwest! Had to stay two weeks the first time but he has dedicated driver (Oscar was wonderful) and they all made the logistics easy. I stayed only a few days the second time, long enough to get stitches out. I had issues with healing on one toe due to fact that Dr had to lengthen it so much. But Dr Ali asked me to hang in there and work with him and it all worked out. I made the commitment to work with Dr Ali through it all and made a few day trips out there. I cannot tell you how happy I am I did this. Dr Ali is nothing short of a miracle worker. First off, I want to thank Dr. Sadrieh for saving my feet . You changed my life! Thank you for seeing a need in podiatry, using your gift and creating a solution. I had a hammertoe procedure by another surgeon and my toes were left completely botched. I was completely devastated!! For years I felt so insecure, I was ridiculed, and hid my feet. I am so happy I chose Dr Sadrieh to do surgery on both of my feet! I was living with so much pain I couldn't take it anymore. I live in SF but I was adamant about finding the best doctor so I met with 4 top surgeons and even though I would have to travel to LA, I knew Dr Sadrieh was the one I could trust. BEST podiatry office around. Dr. Sadrieh and the EVO team changed my life! I have had such a positive and transformative experience that I hope sharing my story will enlighten those interested in similar procedures. The office itself is very clean and beautiful and the receptionists are extremely polite. Upon my first visit, Dr. Sadrieh confirmed that I had hammertoe deformities and bunions on both feet. I had suffered my whole life from the joint pain, chafing, blistering, and unsightliness of my toes and wanted to alleviate the problems immediately. Having researched the treatment options beforehand, I was already aware that a case as severe as mine would require surgery. Dr. Sadrieh, who is so friendly and sweet, explained to me every possible treatment option and the risks of each one. Personally, I was so sick of my "symptoms" that I elected for surgery ASAP. Shortly after seeing the doctor I had a conversation with Shu Shu, the leader of office management, and she helped me navigate through the confusing fine print that is my health insurance policy. It turned out that my policy was going to cover a lot more than I had expected, yay! I had set a date for surgery on my right foot and waited patiently until Dr. Sadrieh could work his foot magic on me. The day of surgery came and the worst part about it was getting my IV put in. I am such a scaredy cat when it comes to needles but Felicia held my hand and comforted me. The anesthesiologist was also really kind. She actually made jokes with me and helped to take my mind off the IV. Shortly after, the sedation kicked in and I was asleep for only a few hours before waking up to a masterpiece of a foot. When I first got home, I propped my foot up and ordered a pizza. I had no pain then and still have no pain now. For me this is a first in life! I went back weekly for post op visits and less than 2 months later, I had my left foot done. The second time around, the time seemed to fly by. I was back in my own athletic shoes in no time. The aftercare kit had everything I would need for recovery. I had to keep my foot dry for several weeks which was really easy to do with the latex boot EVO provided. The kit also included useful tools such as a gel pack for easy icing, bandages, gauze, and even a lollipop. I am so happy that I had the surgery done and will never forget how amazingly I was treated by the doctors and staff. Dr. Sadrieh had me download a special app on my phone for communicating 24/7. I'd like to share my experience with this gem and his amazing team. Came in for a consultation a few weeks ago and I instantly knew that I've found the right doctor. The office is absolutely beautiful, very modern and welcoming. The two lovely ladies (Felicia and Sara) work in the front and greet you. They are both so so sweet and kind. I met Dr. Sadrieh. I had my bunion corrected with Dr. Sadrieh on June 26th, 2013. He performed The Cinderella Procedure. After holding off on foot surgery for a few decades, I finally decided at age 46, I needed to have this corrected before I got any older. I researched numerous doctors and facilities, and after my consultation with Dr. Sadrieh, I knew that with his level of expertise and in-depth communication with me during my consultation, that I was in the right hands. I loved his small office setting and his warm bedside manner, and instantly, I felt at ease. ShuShu, Dr. Sadrieh's office manager, is amazing at her job, and she's one of those women who is beautiful inside and out. Love her! She walked me through the insurance procedure and talked me through the Evo post-op kit that you go home with. I opted to have the procedure done under local anesthesia, so not only was I awake throughout the operation, but conversed with Dr. Sadrieh and his staff and got to see the procedure up close and personal. He talked me through the procedure and explained everything that was happening. He thoroughly enjoys conversing with patients who really want to engage in the process, and who ask a ton of questions. It was truly a fascinating and life changing experience. The best part? After the surgery I walked out of his office with NO PAIN in my foot with my husband, and we went out to a celebratory lunch! (Lamb burgers at the Rose Cafe in Venice...not to be missed!! :) One of the best things about Dr. Sadrieh is that he wants you to help you achieve the results that you desire and he works closely with you as your teammate. He does his part, and you need to follow his instructions to do your part. It's quite simple. If I had a question, he instructed me to text him or call him directly, 24/7. There is no "after hours" doctor exchange that you call, you're contacting him directly. How many doctors do that? When I had a concern, I texted him a picture of it and he explained what was happening. This open communication made each and every transition understandable on my end. He got back to me right away with answers and never left me hanging. I even texted him after hours and on the weekend. Still, he returned my texts right away with the answers to my questions. My recovery took about 4 weeks. Two weeks in the surgical shoe and then two weeks in my Nike Free Run tennis shoes. At the end of the four weeks, I was able to resume my physical activities. I cycled 30 miles the first day back on my bike and the following day I was able to run 3 miles on the treadmill at the gym with NO PAIN! Unbelievable! I could not have achieved this goal without Dr. Sadrieh's constant support and follow-up. Dr. Sadrieh is a consummate profession, and is passionate about achieving the results that you desire. He loves to have his patients engage and ask tons of questions because he wants to be your partner on your recovery team. Each and every follow-up appointment that I have shown up for I am surrounded by happy patients in the waiting room. All have been very pleased with their results, as have I. We discuss what procedures we've had done, how our recovery is going, and it's been great meeting so many people from out of town who have flown in for Dr. Sadreih's expertise. As one of Dr. Sadrieh's patients, I am very saddened to read the defamatory attacks made on his character. Dr. Sadrieh is not a god, nor a magician - he is a highly trained foot surgeon that has spent his youth educating himself to help individuals such as myself with foot disorders. With every surgery there runs a risk of a complication (which you agree to when you sign your pre-surgical paperwork), and he deserves to be given the chance to correct a complication rather than be attacked on Yelp, which serves no purpose. If you have pictures, they should have been texted or emailed to him directly in order to get your problem rectified. It's completely mind-boggling to me the ignorance and disrespect exhibited and the lengths people will go to hurt or tarnish one's reputation. I had a surgery about 10 years ago with Dr. Garth Fisher in Beverly Hills (different area of specialty). I had complications in the recovery process. I communicated this with him, we worked together, and he performed a second surgery to correct it. I ended up being a very happy patient and did finally get the results that I wanted to achieve. I certainly didn't exhaust fruitless efforts trying to ruin his reputation by taking cheap shots at him online hiding behind a veil of anonymity. Teamwork and communication is key to all recoveries and not all surgeries are going to go as planned as each of our bodies are wired differently and react differently to procedures and recoveries. Communication with any surgeon is just as important as the surgery itself. Overall, my experience with Dr. Sadrieh has been a 10++ and I highly recommend him! I went to Dr Sadrieh in 2010 to remove the bunions on both of my feet (Cinderella procedure). Not only am I thrilled with the results (and continue to be 3 years later) but I found him to be one of the most professional and caring doctors I've ever met. He has gone above and beyond to make sure the results I was looking for were fulfilled and now I am pain free and can literally wear any shoe I want without discomfort. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews on him. And noticed there were over a dozen wonderful reviews that are filtered. Do your research, ask for references from other patients, consult with him and his staff even talk to other doctors. Came for a consult. Talk about a great experience. The ladies in the front office are super nice, all the staff are nice, and talk about a great doctor! We saw Dr. Sadrieh and he is the most charismatic and intelligent doctor I've come across.. ever! It's obvious he cares about his patients because he is thorough in explaining everything in detail so you're not in the dark about anything. I've never met a doctor whom spent so much time and was so patient for an initial consult. I really appreciated his professionalism and his bedside manners. Why can't all doctors be like him?! We received a lot of great information today and will be seeing him again soon, and I will update any progress. read more
