Rocky came by for an estimate on 10/2 and wasn't home, the office called and gave me a figure. Called the office and said don't think Rocky saw the right trees, long story sent some pictures, etc. Rocky called this morning 10/3 in my area and at the house in 10 minutes of the office phone call. Removed 2 Sumac Trees all in about 30 minutes. One was dying for sure and the other one matter of time. The excessive heat has been very hard on African Sumacs. The young kids worked hard and fast and did a great cleanup Rocky is very personable himself and would recommend him for tree removal service. Fast and efficient in my experience. read more

My husband decided to chop down three fully grown African Sumac trees in the backyard today leaving behind a yard so full of debris that our dog wouldn't have been able to get out into the yard. I called Rocky's and within an hour they responded with a quote and had a crew out here within two hours to get it all cleaned up and hauled away! Response time was very fast and having them haul everything out and throw it into the wood chipper was much easier than taking three months to get rid of it in our Republic Services trash can! Because Rocky has done such great tree trimming for me in the past, I signed up for weekly landscaping service. Yesterday, Jose came out for his first weekly visit, and I was moved to tears by how thorough and conscientious he was. His work was exceptional, and he worked his heart out until it was too dark to see outside. Our previous service with another company was so bad that my expectations were very low. But Jose trimmed and shaped every overgrown bush, And did a deep cleaning, leaving my front and back yard looking well tended and immaculately clean. It was simply the best work I have ever had done. These guys just showed up to my house at random, walked in to the back yard where my girlfriend was relaxing and started pointing at the trees repeating "Rocky Company". We never called for anyone to come look at our trees, and even if we did you should probably knock at the front door before just walking on to the property like you own the place. Further, they left the side gate wide open when arriving and upon leaving. Luckily my dog did not get out. No apology for the mistake, just walked out, got in their truck and left. We came home around 6 pm and found that our large tree in our front yard was uprooting due to the extremely high winds. The tree would have smashed into our home and we would have sustained heavy damage. I called Rocky's tree service, sent them photos and they gave me a quote to cut down and remove the tree. We are located on the NW side of town and within 40 minutes they arrived at our home (they were on the east side doing another job). A huge truck appeared first, immediately followed by 3 more trucks. In 40 minutes they had our tree cut down and everything was shredded in the wood chipper and they blew off the sidewalk that had tree shavings all over it. I am so impressed by their quick response and the awesome job they did on the tree. We can sleep easy tonight knowing that the tree is gone and our house is safe. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. We have 16 thirty foot palm trees to trim every year. Every year when the are coming I feel trepidation because I know things are going to get damaged and broken when they come trim the trees. Just thought it was the way it is. Rocky never offers to fix or repair any of the damage. This year I moved to a different company. What a difference! ZERO stars. After no follow-up communication as promised and pictures sent, after 3 days, someone got in touch w/me and came over. Benjamin was a no-show 2 days later, to do the work. Still haven't heard a peep. The estimates were very high as compared to others I had received. I was also quoted $150 for twice-a-month maintenance--no trimming wanted, except for one bush and one olive tree--just blow-offs. Really?? I should have read the review by Suzan H. before I hired this company, who used them for 5 years before changing tree services because of damage Rocky would not take responsibility for. They did a good job of trimming my trees but left some debris and a log behind. Also, one of the workers broke one of my ceramic flower pots that wasn't near a tree but was knocked to the ground when the worker was carrying out prom frawns. He apologized, but when my husband told Rocky about it, Rocky said to address this issue with his wife Dora who would call to get my credit card info for payment. I was shocked when Dora said Rocky denied he had been been informed about this and then said the pot must have been broken by the wind, said the debris was old, and called both me and my husband liars. All I wanted was an apology and for Rocky to take responsibility for what was done. I got neither. All Dora did was argue with me. I paid before I had to hang up and say I will NEVER do business with this company again. I am so sorry I did not heed Suzan's warning. I called Rocky's because a 30 year old 25' cactus fell over on to my house in a Vegas wind storm. They gave me a price to remove it after I texted them pictures. The guys came out the next day and quickly and safely took the cactus of my house without doing any more damage to the roof. They hauled the heavy chunks of cactus then cleaned up thoroughly. I would recommend them over the many companies I called and never heard back from or wanted me to email them all of my info before they would come out to look at it. Oh and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. That cactus was probably 1000 pounds. read more

Showed up quite early and did the job! The quote was the lowest of the 4 tree services that I contacted and they came out on a Monday morning. I texted them pictures of the two stumps i wanted removed and gave the go ahead on Friday morning. The worker never saw the pictures and did not think the 2 feet of tree was a stump but ground it to nothing anyway. I was told they take all forms of payment except American Express but when I handed him my card he was disappointed and asked if I had cash. Lucky the bank it just 3 blocks away and he said he would follow me there. Less than 45 minutes from the time he rang the doorbell to the time I handed him cash in the bank parking lot. He wanted another $100 to haul the debris away so I declined, drove to the bank and he is on his way. Job was done! Quickly and efficiently but the cash thing makes it seem like a fly by night operation, esp. when YELP says they take credit cards. read more

Rafael had quoted me $400. to remove my palm tree. When i got home from they left the stump. He then said it would cost $100 more to remove the stump, so i paid him a $100. more. The stump is still 12 inches above ground level. He keeps telling me he will show up and keeps no showing on the days he promised. I found this company by accident and its the best thing I have ever found. The people there were polite and efficient. They came to my house within hours of my calling, quoted a great price and were here first thing the next day to trim all 13 of my palms. They did a great job and cleaned up so well afterwards...even went to the neighbours house to get the small branch that dropped accidentally on their side of the fence.
