Well, my "dish to compare" is sweet and sour chicken so that's what I ordered. My wife ordered the Shaken Beef. She also wanted some wonton soup. The chicken inside the fried pieces was so shredded it was actually fluffy inside. I guess if your teeth are painful during eating that's a good thing...but it left me...used to eating palpable meat pieces inside the S&S chicken, this was incredibly disappointing. It was almost flavorless. My wife's beef cubes/pieces were very chewy. By her description (and I tried one piece and concur) it was beef flavored chewing gum. I have to guess it was very well marinated low quality beef. Oh...and we had visitors of the fruit fly variety. They were quite frequent in visiting. The fairly pushy waitperson also put two extra meals on our ticket. Only after we went down the ticket and saw the extra entrés and did she come over to correct it. Left us wondering if she was trying to take advantage of a couple of older people. Speculation, but billing errors leave bad impressions. We won't be back.

Last night, my husband wanted to take me out on a dinner date after we spent the week enjoying the…read morebeach. This is, by far, the best Italian restaurant we have ever tried! Even on a busy evening, we called and were able to secure seating. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by every single course. We started with their delicious, fresh bread and crisp salad, pairing our meal with an incredible bottle of Malbec. For the main course, I ordered the Pecan Crusted Halibut, which was absolutely spectacular, and my husband had the Lamb Chops, cooked to absolute perfection. The Parmesan potatoes were also delicious. The service was amazing from start to finish--we were welcomed with warm smiles, and our waiters were attentive and wonderful. To top off an already perfect night, we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Sergio, who took the time to come out to our table.
