We have been through socialization training with her and she is doing better. We were going on a road trip and we needed a place to care for her. We were very unsure of how she would do. We toured Ruff Life Resort first and were VERY impressed. The staff were very welcoming and showed us around. One thing I noticed right away was how good it smelled. They keep everything super clean. They offer a variety of suite sizes too. Since this was her first experience, they evaluated her first and with their expertise placed her with a group of dogs that she was actually able to make friends with. She had never been able to do that before. They have five large yards, indoor and out. Their is always someone with the dogs in the yards too. We got pictures and reports everyday on how she was doing and it made my heart happy to see how happy she was and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing she was being very well cared for. They even bathed her and washed her stuffy toy we had for her. We will most definitely book this resort the next time we need to board her. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Every experience has been professional, first class and loving. They are exceptionally responsive, clean and thoughtful in their care of our dog. She is our "baby" and we don't worry a moment when they have her in charge. We travel a fair amount and on one occassion, a larger dog attacked ours and serious damage was done, but death avoided as the care watcher was carefully paying attention to the dogs in playtime and saw everything in time to step in. They got her to our vet, notified us and worked with the other owner to handle cost of care (The other owner was terrific) and followed up on her care throughout. The other dog is no longer allowed to attend playtime, which is sad, but they put dog safety first. We are so happy to have this as "our" kennel! They are terrific! Oh, and Tilly loves to go there!!!!! And, they just built a big new play area!!

It made me feel a lot of relief knowing Dr. Prior is so involved and one call away if my dogs got sick or injured. I loved receiving daily text photos of how my dogs were doing. He was super welcoming and friendly. I thought I was going into self wash for the $10 special but it turns out to be a $10 wash to have him wash my dog! How could I say no to such a sweet deal? That deal has passed but they do have a $20 per month special for unlimited dog washes. If you have a dog that needs regular baths, phone this is a sweet option. My boy came back happy and clean. No complaints.

Nancy gave great reports on Allie's care, including what to look for if Allie had a problem. Since we were temporarily located in Heber, she also helped us get settled, which was far above what is expected of a pet sitter. Since the weather is unpredictable in the winter, she was great about us having to adjust our plans. I have the greatest peace in letting Critter Buddies care for my fur baby, a compliment bestowed on very few.
