I came in simply trying to understand my options and ask basic questions. I did not expect the…read morereaction I received. When I asked about a service this practice offers, something another physician had mentioned that I knew nothing about, Dr. Lee told me I was "way out there," gestured while saying it, and said I was "putting the cart before the horse." I explained that I didn't know anything about it and was asking for that reason, which seemed to further irritate him. I was not arguing or challenging him. I was trying to understand. Instead, he became increasingly defensive and condescending. I repeatedly had to remind him that he is the provider and I am the patient, and that I rely on him to help explain my options and wouldn't know if I didn't ask. It was very strange. The interaction escalated to the point that I told him I was shocked by how I was being treated. He agreed the conversation had become confrontational. Since my questions were still not being answered, I ended the visit on the spot and let him know I would not be continuing care with him. My eyes were dilated, and no protective shielding was offered during the exam, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. Luckily, I had my sunglasses. I will not be returning and felt it was important to share my experience for anyone who may be hesitant to post. I would also encourage those considering him to read a few other reviews (if you look his name up directly), and read yelp reviews. There were many reviews that were concerning to me as well. You can be your own judge. What stands out is not disagreement, but temperament. In a professional setting, the ability to communicate calmly and tolerate reasonable patient questions matters. The intake staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. The office was clean and inviting. This review reflects my experience with Dr. Lee only.

I've had the misfortune to need emergency care for three different issues over the past few years…read more Each time, a different physician treated me. Each time, they were spot on and did a fantastic job of caring for me. Superb support from everyone! The facility is very clean, with most of the staff very invested in the patients' wellbeing. I feel safe here in Salida because of HRRMC. Thanks again, Bill

I love this hospital. I have seen two different amazing doctors there one is my G.I. doctor. The…read moreother is my gynecologist. But I primarily see the psychiatrist through there. The psychiatry department has in the four or five years that I've been seeing them three times. Only the first one has had a chance to get to know me or asked anything about me. It is like pulling teeth to try to get a hold of Jodie Truillo ! One time I made an appointment a few days after I've already had one because she says to call if I ever need her so I did it the right way I made an appointment. She did this weird appointment where she talked to her nerves and had her nurse talked to me. We were going through someone else because I guess I was being inconvenient by making an appointment. It wasn't a main appointment. It was just I needed to talk to her about a new medicine I was on. Now I her for something so tiny and simple and she just can't be bothered cannot be bothered. Her nurses are this hospital are amazing and I've always treated me well, but I cannot be more disappointed in the psychiatry department and I'm seeking out new mental health because I have bipolar disorder and had two major surgeries and I just can't do anymore. I put up with a lot. I'm feeling un cared for and telehealth always cuts out before you're done. How is that complete ? She's a psychiatric nurse and a psychiatric patient. Obviously I have psychiatric issues and she's the only disappointment I've ever had there and upset that I had to get on here and let other people know for their own mental health. It is affordable because they payment plans so a lot of people go see this psychiatric department. I would just recommend not asking for Jodie to see if you can see someone else, but I think they just assigned you people so you don't even really have a choice.
