The certificates are displayed on the wall; however, they haven't received the award in some years. While traveling for the holiday, I appreciate that they were able to make an appointment for the time I needed. When I arrived, the spa felt tired. The locals seemed to enjoy the space so I relaxed. It didn't stop me from noticing the nail dust on the table I was seated in. Old nail clippings. The chairs clients sit in are also worn and are uncomfortable. Client service was great so I think this spa has a chance to regain their title; just need to clean up and freshen up the spa. I will try a different spa next time.

Recommend calling ahead to make appointment. It was quiet, staff was gentle with hands and nails. They took their time so length, style and color came out the way it should. This is a fill! Nails are crooked, I've got gel everywhere and it's a complete mess.

Never ever go to this salon the owners husband was in here screaming and cussing at the hair stylist I was getting my hair done by and the owner was just sitting up at the front doing absolutely nothing. This salon is very unprofessional I would not recommend it! I am going to respond to your response there was absolutely a way around it don't have your husband in the salon yelling at anyone and you didn't fire anyone cause she was leaving anyway so please stop trying to make excuses for you and your husbands horrible behavior while I was trying to get my hair done. I was in the salon getting my hair done as you should recall so I will not let you tell lies and make anyone else look bad. The stylist was not fired immediately she was told by authorities that she was able to work until you follow the right channels to have her evicted cause you was not her employer she just rented a space from you she was not your employee so stop trying to throw your weight around here and make yourself look good. It was the most unprofessional situation I have ever seen in a business and as a business owner this should have never happened. No one should ever give this lady money or business! read more

We were visiting Salida, and my son (15 year old) was in dire need of a haircut... we search Salida and found this small, family owned place. Shirley (the owner) was very nice, she listened to what my son wanted and took the time to ensure his haircut was correct. Thanks Shirley! We'll definitely be back :) read more

Wild Horses is a local salon just off Hwy 50, run by the friendliest gal you'll ever meet. Although it's not a nail salon per se, I got a terrific pedicure from Nancy. And bonus: they have a really sweet dog at the shop. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and I'm so glad I stopped in. Recommended! read more
