Replaced my teeth! I've been seeing dentist all my life. Out of town visits for dental implants, gum surgery, etc. traveling would take up to two days. Had to board my dogs, get a hotel room ugh!! Now I just drive a few blocks and way yah. I've got had the best care I've ever had. Relaxation Dental had to correct the implants as well. I've have say they are absolutely the best I've been to. The pain is minimal. Dr. Brown ,Dr. Walker are gentlemen, patient and kind. I would also like to thank all Staff members, Jessica,Adrian,Birdie, etc. Sorry I can't remember all their names. PATIENT BEWARE. I was visiting and needed a temp crown re-cemented. A new temp needed to be created. I realized later that I'd been charged for a porcelain CROWN when they tried to mail it to me 5 weeks later. When I called for a refund, I assumed it was a sincere mistake. They said that the crown charge was the same as a temporary charge, which is unethical and un-true. Sadly, they tried to take advantage of a traveler, but that is not working out for them now. We'll see what the ethics board thinks of their way of billing patients. read more

My wife and I have been seeing dentists every 6 months for years, with covid we missed a cleaning and couldn't get into our dentist for a while. We thought we'd try Relaxation Dental in Salida. We were scheduled for their $119.00 exam and cleaning. We left with almost $9,000 in recommended work, and paid $788.00 since they said my wife needed two "scaling treatments (prepaid 2 @ $275.00 each). I cancelled the next day and the lady I talked to about getting refunded for the prepaid scaling treatments said we weren't owed anything. I see they get lots of great reviews, but our experience was anything but great - or relaxing...especially since I'm going to have to do something about getting a refund for services not rendered. Help out Dr. Brown, if we could have just been refunded I wouldn't be writing this review - or the next however many I'll need to write. Update, 3/1/2022: As Relaxation Dental asked me to call them based on my review, I did talk with their Treatment Coordinator. She was pleasant, but also indicated that in the same hour that I had my $119 exam and cleaning, my wife had the same exam, cleaning, as well as two quadrants of perio scale and other things done. My wife was so freaked out from the $4338.00 cost the told her she needed for "everything" she couldn't say what all happened in that hour. My wife was able to get in to see our regular dentist in the valley a week or so after our "Relaxation Dental" visit, and they confirmed to us that they did not believe my wife needed anything other than a cleaning. According to my wife's treatment plan, she needed multiple cavities filled, new crown, core and pins, more perio scale.... a full page at over $4,000. I appreciate that "Relaxation Dental" says they create the BEST treatment plan for their patients, but based on our experience, and conversations with others, including dental professionals, this happens more that we know, and we were fortunate enough to cancel any further treatments through "Relaxation Dental" before we spent over $4000 each on unneeded dental work. Others may have totally legit experiences with them, I would just recommend if you try them and you get sticker shock over what they say you need - get a second opinion. I totally agree with the review from Melissa Osten, one of the first reviewers. I'll happily forfeit the money we lost at "Relaxation Dental" if we can prevent other folks from having this happen to them. read more

Beware of the Myobrace. We got talked into this treatment for my daughter. We spent almost $6,000, a "discounted rate", only to find that my daughter had complex issues that were not identified and could not be treated using this system. At this cost, one would think that they would do a full set of x-rays, however they did not. Thank goodness we moved and these issues were identified by another dentist and orthodontist immediately. The unfortunate part is that we wasted thousands of dollars and over a year of time to be told my daughter needs surgery and guess what, braces, at the cost of another $7,000. I brought this to the office's attention weeks ago and was told they would get back to me. Was hoping they would offer a refund for the mistakes that were made, but I haven't heard a thing from them. Lastly, they say that you have to pay $400 for a replacement device when you can get the exact device online for $60. read more
