WOWZERS! I believe I have found the best podiatrist-surgeon in my course of 6 foot surgeries, all…read morefailed, except for my current complex surgery by Dr. Cameron. I am still healing, and if there is no update to this post-you can assume everything was a grand sucess. I like people whom smile at me when talking discussing etc. Dr. Cameron SMILES, a lot. That to me says a lot without any words being spoken. He truly expresses genuine care, concern asking questions and answering questions with no hesitation and when asking questions is engaged with you personally, and his talking with you shows you respect in every manner. I asked him not to sugar coat, nor lessen the answers, and my telling him I would rather he be extremely blunt. He honored my request, we got to the heart of my complex foot surgery to correct previous surgeries that failed to correct my foot's bones alignment. I signed forms, later received my insurance authorization lighting fast. I was scheduled for surgery, that took place within days not weeks or months. The surgery center is a modestly small venue, located within a building with some other office spaces. I was seen quickly and went through typical paperwork and questions from very personable staff and OR cadre. The anesthesiologist was incredible, very detailed on his questions concerning a deviated windpipe I have. Friendly personable, and he smiles a lot too! The staff was friendly smiled, and very personable and soon after Dr. Cameron came back and marked my surgery sites, I was whisked away into the OR, gently moved to the table, hooked up with sensors, and then the Anesthesiologist said OK here comes the IV sleep injection, and I don't remember anything past that. I remember vaguely waking up, and being hungry. The block on my foot that I asked for had been done while I was asleep. My foot remained blocked for 3 1/2 days, the most hurtful times for surgery pain. This meant I started feeling the pain only while it was almost 4 days old, wearing off. I then took the pain pills as directed. Pain from the surgery only lasted a short time, a week after the block wore off. So now I am pain free from the surgery itself. Now I am experiencing pain only when I walk-It only hurts when I walk. Yes I am having this pain, however its due to unchangeable location of the surgery sites, it cannot be avoided. I am wearing a soft cast-BOOT. About 3 more weeks I can wear shoes again. This was not my first rodeo far from it. However Dr. Cameron and his staff and work associates are all of high caliber ethics, state of art training, incredible surgical magic.

My surgery went ok, bad scaring doctor was nice enough. The problem came with their billing…read moredepartment, their medical assistant and no response from the doctor. During my preop visit, which was just a few days prior to my surgery I was asked if I purchased a boot. Not once had that ever come up in a topic of conversation. The medical assistant said it was not a problem if I did not that they could go ahead and get me one. Of course I took her up on that offer. Imagine my surprise when I got a bill for $250 for a DME product that cost $50 on Amazon. This was an uncovered charge by my insurance company. To make matters worse I also work for a doctors office that has DME in the office and I could've gotten it at our cost which would also have been $50. I wrote a letter to the billing company and also to the doctor directly asking that they adjust off $150 for the boot basically splitting the cost. I never got a response. I was making payments on my account and they turned it into collections, the collection department stopped sending me statements in November 2025 and then turned it into a court case creating my payments to stop and now I need to pay the balance on my account in full. I would highly suggest to be prepared to pay your balance in full and not make payments because you'll get sent to collections. These are poor business practices on the behalf of this practice.
