Super nice doctor and front staff! Made me feel welcome and explained all options without pushing a procedure one way or another!

I found Dr. Blue on Yelp, and first visited his practice in Jan/Feb 2018…read more I had a mild gout attack that I needed treated ahead of a ski trip to Vail/Beaver Creek, for which I was departing first thing the next morning. Dr. Blue saw me the same day as my initial call, and he prescribed a drug therapy that resolved the problem. He also offered to meet me in the early AM the following morning (before his office even opened, and before I needed to leave for the mountains), to give me shots in case the prescription was ineffective (the drug therapy works for some, but not others). This kind of patient care was common when I was a small child, but is unheard of today - thanks to Dr. Blue for bringing the "bedside manner" back to health care!

Without getting into various medical terms, my heel ached. Laser PT, and various other PT's didn't…read morework(other than a heel stretch at an acute angle, then a big-toe 90 degree bend with heel up-both recommended by my chiropractor). Dr. Blue recommended custom inserts into my shoes, which didn't work either. The solution I recommend to EVERYONE with plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. It COSTS LESS than a visit & remediation like this. It is the Mizuno Energy Waverider 26 shoe. For $95 on Amazon, they got me from hobbling pain to walking with my wife again. Since my experience in this office with the training didn't recommend it, I send it your way.

Dr. Resig was great! I broke my ankle in Vegas and had surgery there so I had to find someone in…read moreColorado for continuation of care. I found Dr. Resig through Google. He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.

Instead of being met with care, my symptoms were minimized and dismissed. Even after scoring at the highest severity level on their own anxiety/depression screenings, the provider only gave me a taper for my current medication and never told me what I would be switching to next. I was given no treatment plan, no replacement medication, and no stabilization guidance. Only after I left did she call me multiple times asking to "discuss my medication," something that should have been handled during the actual appointment. When I brought in my FAMLI medical leave paperwork, she wrote on it without explaining why, making it unusable. When I asked for it back, she told me she had "written some things on it while talking to the other doctor" and offered to print a new one. The handling of my paperwork felt careless and unprofessional. I left more anxious and confused than when I arrived and will be filing a formal complaint. For anyone needing real mental-health support, I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.
