It's heartbreaking however I lost an 8 year old boxer mix and a 15 year old heeler. Dr. Dan helped with an aggressive cancer on our boxer and also assisted us in the end. The compassion was amazing from him and the technician assisting. Not even 4 months later I knew I was nearing the end with my Heeler again to cancer diagnosis from another vet. Because of the care we received with our other dog, we again chose Dr. Dan in our end times. They are the best with comfort and truly made it best for our dogs and us. They gave us privacy yet stayed near. Their cremation service is also amazing. Dr. Dan sent us a hand written card with our dogs paw prints and nose prints as well. He did great with both dogs while still managing comfort towards my crew and I. His knowledge, experience and compassion for animals and their owners is incredible. As for Dr. Rachel, she saved our baby. She had a severe infection in her female organs. She was on the verge of becoming septic and at 4 pm on a Friday eve, she said she would do the surgery and she did. She called with an update, she had the technician call in morning, her and Dr. Dan personally met us to get her on a Saturday. These are hands down amazing people and incredible veterinarians! I highly recommend them if you are looking for honesty, care and compassion, not only for the pet but their owners as well. We drive over an hour just to have this type of care for our fur babies.

His electrolytes came back perfect and it only took about 15 mins for results. I'll soon be going back for heart worm injections for all my dogs. Staff was all very pleasant and obviously everyone is quite fond of Dr. Dan. It's a bit of a drive but well worth the trip. Highly recommend this business!

After horrible experiences with a clinic in the area, I came across this one, and I am thoroughly pleased with my service here. I brought my two kittens in for their first round of vaccinations and from the time I stepped into the building to the time that I left, I felt so valued and embraced. Every staff member who interacted with me congratulated me on my new kittens and were so genuinely excited that they were there. Plus, they have the sweetest first kitten visit package, which also really set the tone for how much they value their feline patients and their owners- something that was the very top of my list while looking for a new clinic. I will be coming here from now on, and my kittens have found their lifelong veterinary team. So excited to continue to do business with Dr. Cochran and her team!

We're sharing our experience with Dr. Rogers at Royse City Veterinary Hospital so other pet owners…read morecan make informed decisions. Dr. Rogers had been Rockie's vet for over 5 years -- she was the one who originally diagnosed him with a collapsing trachea, a condition that requires careful monitoring and minimal stress. Because of that history, we trusted her completely with his care. That trust was broken. Rockie was left in a kennel for over 4 hours, barking, panicking, and under extreme stress -- the exact situation that should have been avoided given his condition. That stress escalated into a life-threatening emergency. Prior to that day, his condition had been stable and managed. He had never experienced anything like what happened under her care. We were forced to go through the trauma of watching our dog die and then be brought back -- something no pet owner should ever have to endure. Since then, Rockie has required ongoing medical care, including emergency treatment and multiple follow-ups with other veterinarians. He was later diagnosed with diabetes after being placed on high doses of steroids needed to stabilize him. Multiple vets have explained how this can happen, and we are now managing this as a lifelong condition. We have also learned, through second opinions, that procedures were performed that were not necessary. Although Dr. Rogers has acknowledged responsibility, we have had to fight every step of the way just to try to get the medical bills covered -- bills that only exist because of what happened under her care. Beyond the financial burden, the emotional toll has been overwhelming. We rearranged our lives to care for Rockie for weeks, missed time with family, and are now facing long-term health consequences that could have been avoided. We are currently pursuing legal action. If you take anything from our experience, please ask questions, get second opinions, and advocate strongly for your pets. We trusted the care being provided, and we are now living with the consequences of that trust being broken.

This animal hospital let us bring her in immediately (30 mins away and we were making these calls from the car ready to go). Everyone there was so kind and informative on what they were going to do. We left for a few hours while they put her under anesthesia and gave her some stitches and a drainage tube. This dog is my favorite thing about life and I take her care more seriously than my own and I felt very safe leaving her with them to fix her up. Overall I had a great experience and I'm now planning on making this her regular vet since I just moved to Texas. Amazing service, amazing care, and amazing veterinarians. Thank you all so much.
