24 hour emergency vet, yet they don't open till 2 PM. How does that work? Brought a dog in this…read moremorning and was turned away.. will never be back. Service in the past has been ungodly expensive, but when it's the only thing in town you make do. Obviously, veterinarians do not take their obligation to provide care as seriously as physicians do.

Had a fish hook in my dogs leg and they quoted me $2600!!!!! I spoke with my Vet friend in Dallas…read morealong with a photo of the hook and he stated probably a couple hundred dollars at most!!!!! Response to sarcASSic owner: PLEASE read owners response! That should tell you all you need to know. It's all about the$$$$. When I was informed of the RIDICULOUS estimate I started walking out and you should have seen this nurse running after me asking what kind of budget I had or they could do a pmt plan or "what can you afford ". All about the $$$!!! By the way asswipe. He was heavily sedated and not feeling any pain. Unlike the service and attitude we received at this so called professional place. IF you say you felt bad my dog might have been in pain then why didn't you offer some type of meds AT THE BEGINNING of my 3 1/2 hour wait time sitting in that cold office? Glad you didn't now that I look back at my experience it probably would have been a OUTRAGES inflated cost of $300-400 for the meds based on your calculations for service. AGAIN people. Beware. Like my vet friend said it should have been just a couple hundred bucks NOT $2600. BEWARE. Go somewhere else. ANY place is better than this s$&tplace UPDATE Spoke with my vet friend who advised to keep him on Ibuprofen and rest until my opponent with my vet on Monday. Sometime during his extended naps Mother Nature stepped in and had him remove the hook. When I finally realized it was removed I could barely find the entry point to apply antibiotic cream. Mother Nature like $2600??? "Please, Hold my beer!" FAFO
