This is the terminator... Arnold schwarzenneger once ate this...He was Terminated... All joking aside this place always has good food and is reasonably priced... I've never had a bad service yet... If you want the best time to come closer to 7 o'clock is what I would consider the peak hour...

Atmosphere was cool but a little old... Service was good and they were pretty packed but the food was ok. I wouldn't say it was phenomenal and I surely wouldn't drive from Pittsburgh back just to eat there. Pricing wasn't too terrible bad but it was up there a bit. The decor had this 50's diner type mixed with old TGI Fridays with the flair. A lot going on all at once. Too much really! Like I said service was fairly quick and pleasant as one would expect. I was going to try the fries but between the portion sizes and costs it was just too much. Overall I'd give it an eh... if you've never been, sure go try it...

Sangria pitcher I think was $12.99 great deal!

Good menu selection. Very expensive soup prices. And why do they have to have it fricking freezing inside in 60 something degree weather?

The owner came to our table to say hello, introduce himself, and to make sure we were happy with everything. Turns out this restaurant has been in Tallmadge for 20 years. Really enjoyed our meals and eating in this relaxing atmosphere. My spouse ate the meatloaf dinner and I ate the perch and fries. Delicious! Save room for dessert and get the ice cream sandwich. Very creative dessert! It was so good, if we would have had room, we would have ordered two. Desserts can easily be shared between two people. We will definitely eat here again.

The vibes here are good, there is lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. There are tv's and they offer a real bar as well as a cozy fireplace. The place is well decorated and very clean. The staff was very friendly. Our server was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and made very helpful recommendations as it was our first time in. The menu is a good sized and offer a variety of things but pretty much your basic burgers, starters, sandwiches and some entrees. The food was solid and not too expensive which was good. The French Onion Burg on Texas toast was really good and flavorful and the onion rings were a good size and crispy. Overall, Sammie's is a solid spot to dine in and grab a bite to eat especially for the value!

I've never been here before but I know it's a fairly popular place so I was quick to agree to the location. We originally sat at the bar but the stools were so incredibly uncomfortable, so we moved to a booth. While our server was nice, it did take her quite a while to come take our drink order. I got a "lavendar breeze" for my first drink and it was delicious. The menu is small, with the focus being on grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm not a huge grilled cheese lover, so I ordered a wedge salad (with house white French dressing) and the sauerkraut balls from the appetizer menu. The salad was on par with what you'd expect, the dressing was tasty. The sauerkraut balls, though, kind of threw me. First, it's a HUGE serving. There was around 30-40 sauerkraut balls in the basket; way more than I ever imagined would be in an order. I was expecting four or five golf ball sized balls. Maybe I've been spoiled by having some fantastic sauerkraut balls, but these were subpar, at best. They didn't have a lot of flavor and the cocktail sauce they served with them was an odd choice. While I still enjoyed time catching up with a friend and the drinks were well done, I doubt I'll come back for food. The menu just wasn't appealing to me and what I did have wasnt good enough to lure me back anytime soon.

It has been on my list for ages but it isn't close to my house and the wait is always long! But in March 2026, my bf and I braved the wait so I can finally check this place out! Overall, it is clear why Blue Door is always packed - the food, while overpriced, is delicious and made by a team of talented chef and bakers! I'll say this was a 4.5 star experience. We were quoted a wait for about 45 minutes but we were seated after 30. The case of baked goods were enticing me the entire time but I resisted! Our waiter, Steven, was funny, helpful, and had a great personality. The place, obviously, was packed, with little room in between tables. We saw quite a few patrons order the incredibly indulgent horchata French toast ($24) and I don't think I witnessed anyone finish it! To start, I got a coffee from local coffee roasters, Angel Falls, for $3.50 and my boyfriend treated himself to a fancy hot chai $6.50. It was pretty good local coffee! I wanted to try their famous croissants so I ordered the croque madame croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes ($21). The croque madame was incredible! The breakfast potatoes could have benefited from an interesting seasoning. My boyfriend wanted everything on the menu but decided on getting the "special menu" loaded baked potato breakfast burger with salt+vinegar brined house chips (aka fries) for $24. The potato inside was a large potato latke. This heavenly creation kept him full for hours. In the end, our bill was pretty pricey for a brunch but we enjoyed every bite. I'm not sure if I will be able to come here again since we got lucky with our wait, but they keep changing their menu and something might entice me so much, I'll endure any wait!

The exterior of the building is not much to look at, but inside they have really made it charming. The entrées we chose were the classic eggs, Benedict and the quiche. They did such a great job of celebrating me for my birthday with a glass of wine and a birthday card waiting for me. I loved walking into this place. It had such a cool vibe. They had a ton of things that were gluten-free that made my life easier, including fried calamari and artichokes, which were delicious. I had the Chef special which was cod and orzo. The cod was probably the best I've had in a really long time. The bartenders were so friendly so nice and really good at suggesting menu items. They had an extensive drink menu and the smoked old-fashioned smelled amazing although I didn't get that. I wasn't 100% impressed with my drinks, but that had nothing to do with the way that they were made just my personal preference.
