My fiancé and I have been living at Rocklin Ranch for about 7 Months and we absolutely love it here. We just welcomed a baby and when looking for apartments wanted somewhere that we felt comfortable bringing her home to and this place checked all our boxes. The amenities like the pool, gym, kiddos and dog parks have all been amazing. The staff is so kind and attentive as well! Debbie helped us find our perfect apartment and when our dishwasher wasn't working properly we got a new one within the week. We are in a Tahoe and it fits our family perfectly. Every person that has come to our place has said how nice the complex is and we agree! Rocklin Ranch is one of the BEST apartments I have lived in. Debbie and Delaney are both amazing and so extremely kind. When there's a problem one of them is so quick to get it resolved. The pool is amazing on these hot days, the gym is awesome & they even have a vending machine in the office with super good snacks, energy drinks, sodas, etc that are accessible even when the office is closed. They have two great dog parks and lots of extra grass areas that are great for toddlers to run around(along with the park). Our neighbors are amazing and we've made so many great friends with people in different areas of the property. 3 year update: decided it is no longer worth residing here. Multiple cars were recently vandalized and rather than sending out a notice for residents to take precautions, the management did nothing, and shockingly, it happened again! I was told that in the night that all 4 of my wheels and tires were stolen, the video survalence system was down, the gates were broken, and the security company was not present. Residents also were not notified about any of these issues prior to the incident. Management is taking zero accountability and has refused to compensate residents in any way and has even refused to return my calls or address the matter further .This is the third summer in a row, that the roach infestation seems out of control, I have been told that this is because management failed to fumigate the sewers prior to the warm weather. the roaches come up from the drains in the sink and shower and maintenance has stated that there is no way to effectively treat that issue so the recommend using household cleaning products to treat the problem yourself... The pool area has been one of the best amenities over the years, and now all the pool furniture is completely thrashed and it is honestly embarrassing to have guest over. Additionally one of the security guards was jumped at the pool area in the middle of the night and was beaten by several people, I wonder if that is why I have only seen security twice in the 3 years that I have lived here. 6/10 time that I have gone to the front office to try to get answers, there was nobody present and there was a sign on the door saying-be back in 15 minute, which is usually in the last 30 minutes prior to the office closing. The manager has said that this is due to understaffing and not having enough people available to man the office for the entirety of the business day. Once, the worker was on a marajuana smoke break, another time, the manager and the other office worker decided to go to lunch at the same time and just close the whole office while they went. I've lived here for quite some time. Rocklin ranch is a hidden gem! The grounds are always clean and well kept. Feeling safe is my biggest decision maker when it comes to renting and this place gives me so much security. When you walk around you feel like your in a quaint garden and not the hustle and bustle of the city. They have so many amenities for residents as well as the pets! Dog wash, dog parks, spacious pool, fire pits and lounge area. They have resident parties with free food and drinks. The Christmas event even had a horse and carriage! Everyone is so quiet and friendly. The staff here is also a plus. Always on call and ready to help in whatever way they can. Chris in maintenance is a great asset to the team. He communicates well and requests are completed quickly! No issues with pests which is huge considering the other apartments in the area I've lived in have had issues with roaches. With how expensive housing has gone up throughout the years I feel I am genuinely getting my moneys worth and then some. I have been living here over a year now. I choose this location because of low crime, and the location has gates close at night. Property is on border of Rocklin and Roseville. Close to lots of shopping and activities. Units are luxury; granite counters, luxury vinyl floors, stainless steel appliances and beautifully finished walls, kitchen and bathrooms. Tahoe unit has great open floor plan and each bedroom has great closets. Location has beautiful landscaping throughout. The property is very pet friendly, includes pet washing station and two dog runs(one is Astroturf so year round play). Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Debbie the property manager makes sure all the residences needs are taken care of and makes sure property is in tip top shape. Place is great place to call home. read more

Lived here for four years, I don't recommend it. The rent increases annually are extreme, they never answer the phone in the lobby, and maintenance requests take a long time to get done and when they are done it's usually a sloppy job. I had to have maintenance come back to fix the same issues more than several times. They're lazy and they don't care for the welfare of their residents. read more

Chris and the rest of the Maintenance Team went above and beyond to make sure I didn't experience a single inconvenience. The repair process was absolutely seamless. My husband and I lived at Rocklin Ranch for just over two years and loved it (Summer 2012- Summer 2014). When we moved in our apartment was immaculate. There was not a spec of dust to be found even on the window blinds. We rented the largest floor plan available and loved the space! The energy efficient windows and appliances kept our electricity bill remarkably low as well which was great! We never had issues with parking (but we were on the far side of the complex) and we have two vehicles. When we first moved in we did have horrid downstairs neighbors but after a few months of hard work by the management (especially Brandie), they were out of there for good! The management made sure that our next neighbors were handpicked and they turned out to be really kind, wonderful and quiet people. Our entire building was filled with the best neighbors anyone could ask for! I have lived in many different apartments (I used to move quite often for work) and ended up with a nightmare neighbor living next door at every single complex at one point or another. Rocklin Ranch was the first place I had lived that actually did something about it (and quickly at that) and they really went above and beyond in every regard to help make the situation better even while we were in the process of getting rid of the nightmare neighbors. Some other reasons I really enjoyed living here are because the grounds are so well kept, maintenance would come to my apartment typically the same day whenever I put in a ticket (and I had a couple silly ones at one point too) and they worked quickly, efficiently and were always so very polite! Everyone on their staff is just really wonderful and I really love how they really pull the entire community together for holidays! They really go above and beyond their job descriptions because they genuinely care about the people who live there. When I lived at Rocklin Ranch I was surrounded by wonderful people (once my original downstairs neighbors were gone) quite a few of whom I got to know and all of that made it really feel like we were one big family there. I know some other people have mentioned having to pay a lot on move out but when my husband and I moved out we were only charged for a light cleaning which wasn't much at all (but we are actually clean people), and considering how clean our apartment was when we moved in we know that 100% of the cleaning expense actually goes to professional cleaners. If you're looking for a place to live you cannot do any better than Rocklin Ranch Apartments. It is worth the extra money hands down to live here because you know you will be taken care of! Rocklin Ranch is a great gated community in the best location!! Target, Blue Oaks Theater, a wide variety of Restaurants, Tops Golf all around the corner. Apartment Prices are decent for the area. The complex grounds are well maintained and I feel safe. Complex also has a car wash stall with an industrial vacuum for its residents, not to mention trash valet??! which makes it easier for my elderly mother. The staff are very helpful and considerate. My husband and I have been living here for 3 years and have loved it. It was really hard to find a nice apartment complex that allows all size dogs. We have 2 and one is a larger breed. The complex is spacious, filled with greenery and grassy areas for pets and what not, the amenities are nice, the apartments inside themselves are very easy to feel at home with, and the office and maintenance staff are super friendly and accessible when in need. We live on a bottom floor, so the patio is a little larger with a little bit of dirt/grass area our dogs can use late at night if needed. The Luxer room for delivered packages is fantastic and secure. Honestly between the super pet friendly atmosphere, the Luxer Room, and the fast response from their maintenance team have been the true highlights during our time here. Chris, from maintenance, is so friendly and works fast. I put in a few requests recently since we are moving soon and Chris was able to come out that same day and fix everything. I will still say that there are some things I wish were better. You are not allowed to decorate your front door area, even though every apartment has it's own little nook entryway that is not blocking any pathways (unless it's a decorating holiday, then you can during that specific holiday timeframe). In my opinion, when you can make a space your own, especially when living in a community space where every apartment looks the same, it gives the renter the feeling of being at home when they can make the space their own. Also, they have dog poop bag stations with trash cans throughout the complex (which is awesome), but they are usually empty throughout the entire weekends (which should not really be a negative on the complex but more of a be prepared type of advice for pet owners to have their own bags on hand at all times just in case) and the trash cans have lids on them, but recently birds have been pooping on them like crazy, making them disgusting. And I thought maybe when the staff emptied the cans, they would clean the tops, but its been at least 2 weeks and it's still disgusting. And if you live on a bottom floor, when it rains, the patio from above still leaks rain through the wood boards making the covered patio still unusable during rainstorms, which is a little disappointing if you like to watch the rain. And lastly, some pathways are uneven making trip hazzards, but they are easy to notice and avoid. Honestly, even with what I consider negative experiences, they are not enough to be "red flags" for wanting to move here. This place outshines more than anything and does try to improve whenever they can. That is why I feel they still deserve 5 stars. We are actually really sad to be leaving this beautiful community, but we will highly recommend this complex to anyone who is need of it. Review Rocklin Ranch Apartments -- Home Again I recently moved into the Rocklin Ranch Apartments -- again. The first time was in 2012. Newly single, I found a safe and quiet haven in this well-managed, lushly-landscaped community. The congenial agents became friends. The maintenance staff was so on top of things, I swear they once responded to a request before I made it. With some kind of sixth sense, they came to fix a washing machine which wasn't broken -- until a few days later. I knew I would miss the Ranch when I left suburbia for the convenience of the city. What I didn't know is how inconvenient the city would soon become for a single, senior lady with a freshly broken hip in the middle of a pandemic. Within months I was back in the suburbs recuperating with my wonderful family. When it came time to live on my own, I could think of no place I'd rather be than Rocklin Ranch. So here I am again. LOVE ROCKLIN RANCH! I've resided at Rocklin Ranch since 2016 when I relocated after the passing of my Mom. Without qualification, I can state that RR Management from Manager to Office to Maintenance are the best of the best. Delaney is phenomenal in her caring rapid response to any request whether for maintenance or delivering a heavy package. Jake and Chris couldn't be more accommodating - always prompt with a caring smile as well as expertise in resolving issues. Manager, Debbie Robinson exemplifies RR personnel's tradition of extraordinary care for their residents. I recently had occasion to request Debbie's assistance. She stepped up not only with immediate response and understanding but went far above and beyond to expedite resolution. I have been a 14 year resident of Rocklin Ranch and for the most part a satisfied resident. However, due to recent events I feel obligated to write this review. I have a situation in which I as a disabled person rely on the fact of when I get home from work or business trip that I have a parking space to park in. That was my understanding when I decided to become a resident here that we have assigned parking and that with that privilege we pay our monthly lease payment. Instead, over the years we have had on several occasions people park in our designated assigned parking spot. Subsequently requiring me to walk sometimes several hundred yards to get back to my residence. This has created a challenge over the years for it is their policy that they will not tow a vehicle parked in a assigned personal space for 96 hours. That to me is completely unacceptable. That is to say, that I feel it is more important that they defend a violator of parking regulations more than the rights of a disabled long time resident. Recently due lack of parking in a recent rain storm I decided that I would instead park in front of my personal parking space, effectively blocking the person parked there, but no anyone else. I had only parked there to load a Television in my car and for the period of 1 hour This resulted in the management staff threatening me with calls to the police and that My car would be towed instead of the actual violator who was parked in my assigned parking spot for over 16 hours. This to me is unacceptable and the parking policy should be revisited and made more fsvorable to long time disabled residents. Parking Issues #2 So after the response from Brandie regrading the parking issues, I was obligated to continue with the issues in which I have had to continue deal with in this current staff, administration and upper management. As mentioned earlier, I am disabled with handicapped plates and after waiting over 15 hours for my space to become vacant I decided to park in the only area I felt I could without blocking in others in front of my designated parking spot. That is when a member of the Rocklin Ranch staff proceeded to knock on my door and told me to move my vehicle immediately. I was in the process of getting ready for work and was in the shower so I told the staff member that I would move it when I was done. She then stated she would call the police and have my car towed. She also stated that she had no correspondence from me, although I had repeatedly contacted the office about the matter. So after I finished my shower I moved my vehicle and proceeded to the office to inform them of the situation. I was immediately met with opposition from the staff member who had threatened me earlier. when confronting her about her comments she lied about her comments and changed her story. At one point she admitted to a falsehood, then quickly recanted. Also, telling the other staff member that she did not have to answer any of my questions. At that point I left the office. The next day I went to see the manager and after waiting for 45 minutes in the office and being ignored I finally left. I did get a phone call an hour later, only to find the manager to be confrontational and demanding that I had made the mistake of parking in front of my parking space and defending her staff. I then notified the regional manager of the situation with the parking challenge and that staff who stated he would get back to me after he researched the accusations. Well it has been 2 weeks now and no response from that individual either. The only thing I can ascertain is that the comfort and trust of their residents is not important to the company, and that a long time disabled and handicapped individual is inconsequential. read more

My wife and I have lived at Rocklin Ranch Apartments for nearly 1 year while we were searching for a new home purchase. I gotta say, this place spoils you and has made it tough for us to find a home better than this. Before we moved in we were told by 2-3 other friends who have lived that it is THE Best apartment complex in Rocklin. We had to check it out. They have community events every quarter, including Christmas gatherings, wine tasting night, Pool parties, and even an annual community 'yard' sale where they advertise outside of the complex for you. They clean and prep the apartments before you move in, you can even choose to have them paint the walls as well. They allow online automatic payments, which is very nice. It is a Pet Friendly home. That means dogs, small leash free dog area, and plenty of doggy bag stations available for you. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am. It is dead silent. There is no noise during day either. You care Barely hear highway 65 while outside. It's also very nice to wake up to birds chirping every day. They have a 'fitness center' with about 6+ Cardio machines, Strength training machines, and free weights. The fitness center also has multiple TV's with controllers. The Pool is Ginormous!! (Jr. Olympic pool) Since it is a gated community, they accept packages from all delivery services at the office. We check once a week since they do not notify you if something has arrived. Staff: The staff are pretty amazing. Mind you, they care for over 300 tenants and probably wont remember your first name if you don't make an impression/get to know them. But I've never had any issue that they haven't resolved. Always friendly and courteous. The office has small lounging area with free 'gourmet' coffee and fresh popcorn. They have a 24/7 "business center" that is free use to tenants which includes Internet, copying, faxing, and scanning (bring a usb, can't save to pc). They have a 'Club house/room' with about a 40 inch screen tv, ample seating, granite top kitchen that you can rent on deposit for personal events. Living area: Pretty spacious nice living conditions overall. I do admit that some of the material used in the kitchen and bathroom seem a bit cheap (Wood colored plastic covers for cabinets and drawers, bathroom tub is some kind of plastic material.) but aside from that, its great. Every unit has a patio as well. They allow BBQ electric and propane on your patio both up and down stairs. They also have Free use Charcoal bbq's scattered around the complex and 1 very nice propane BBQ for Rent on deposit in the pool area. All in all, I cannot think of what more to say. If I were to never buy a House and rent while living in the Roseville/Rocklin neighborhood, I would ONLY Live at Rocklin Ranch Apartments. If you are debating on living here, you should visit and have them show you around. We were sold within 10 minutes. read more

Rocklin Ranch is a very nice apartment complex but you definitely pay a premium. I have absolutely no problem with the staff on site however the company that runs this place is money hungry and hard core. I will say that anything that you have wrong in your place, they are over and fixi it immediately but you pay for that privilege dearly. Be prepared for a massive hike in rent once your first lease is up. However there is a core group of people that live there that think they run the place. I have never seen such a bunch of nosy people who have nothing better to do than to sit around completely hammered and bake like leather purses in the sun all day at the pool and gossip and start rumors about people. I have actually heard them say that people had better watch out because they "run" the place! Lol! I'm absolutely serious on this! They need to expand their horizons from outside the fence of the pool and get a real life. read more

I've only been here for five months, but this is definitely a great place to live (compared to Oakland, CA). It's quiet, I feel safe walking around without the need to be constantly looking over my shoulder, and the other residents are friendly. I have noticed that some of them don't seem to like beards all that much, but that's their fault. It's only a few of them, anyway. Now... + The apartments are quiet and you'll rarely hear a noise from the other residents. Unless you live in a bottom floor, of course. They do have workers use leaf blowers around the entire area every day at around 10 A.M., but they're quick with their work. + The staff is very friendly, and if you encounter a problem such as a dead light bulb, a wasp nest growing on your outside patio, or even a washer which breaks on its own, the maintenance workers will take care of the problem ASAP and free of charge. They are highly professional with their work. + The gym is a great feature which includes dumbbells up to 50 lbs, elliptical machines, running machines, and four machines for strength gaining. It's open 24/7, but you need a key (which they give you when you move in) to open it. + I haven't been inside the pool which is located right next to the gym area, but it is always clean-looking and never too crowded. + Multiples: The AC's work properly for the hot, hot summers. You get a washer and dryer inside. You get a parking spot near your building which is reserved for you. Pets are allowed, but they do have to be neutered. The outside is very green with medium-sized trees of various colors. For safety, the gate closes at night and requires you to use an electronic button which fits on your key chain to re-enter (no need for it if you're exiting). + Around summertime, they host a pool party which includes free food, free drinks, games, and a raffle. They'll also host a few games of flash bingo where you can win several prizes which include $100 off your rent. -- The monthly cost is a bit high, about 1,200-2,200 depending on the size and the amount of beds/baths, but if you can afford it, it's worth it in my opinion. Overall, this is an excellent apartment, and I highly suggest it. read more

We cannot thank all the wonderful staff enough that work here. Rocklin Ranch is an APARTMENT complex. I'm assuming most people knew this when they moved in. So yes, there are thin walls and loud neighbors, people that don't clean up after their pets or drive through late at night with the music blaring. That's apartment life. For those that don't want that experience they should move into a house! The inside is nice enough. It's standard. Nothing terribly special but it isn't horrible either. Plus the washer and dryer are supplied and it is right inside which I think is really nice. We also have a garage just across from our apartment which is convenient. Yes, we pay extra but again if we wanted something different we would move into a house. I've lived in a lot of apartments and this one, by far, has the best sense of community I've ever experienced. They have monthly events for the tenants. The Christmas event was AMAZING. There was a horse-drawn carriage, food and drink, photo booth and best of all Santa! And he was a good Santa. The staff has never been anything but friendly and helpful from the time we have moved in. The ladies in the office are always super nice to my kiddo and I always enjoy chatting with them. We actually had an accident at our apartment last year and Heather, the manager, handled it with care and consideration and I was very grateful for that. I really enjoy living here. After being here since April, I am ready to complain. It takes a LOT for me to complain. My unit is right next to the leasing office/loud squealing gate, and due to smokers living above me my patio is always covered in ashes & cigarette buts thrown off upper patio. It's the CONSTANT noise on the only days/evenings I have off (weekends). Last night when I wanted to simply open my sliding door to let cool air in at 11:45 it was simply not possible. Elevated voices until at least 12:35 (when I finally shut the door). This has been every weekend since I arrived! Even in a week day I have the lovely sent of cigarettes if I wanted to open doors or sit in my porch. For the amount I pay in rent, this is pathetic. I walk the grounds and most other units look pretty decent, quiet, etc. It would have been nice to know what I'd have been dealing with. read more

Beautiful and quiet! I lived there 1.5 years. The only issue I recall is one of the cabinet doors falling off its hinge once... Other than that its a beautiful community and did I say its quiet? The walls are super thick and the only thing you can hear is a slight sound from the neighbors washer and dryer if you are standing in your own bathroom and they are running those units. Maintenance was quick and any concerns were handled with the sincerity :) I'm writing this review because I moved into more expensive apartments recently in Kansas City, MO and have found the staff to be unwelcome, multiple problems in my unit, and just unethical issues all around considering missing pages in the copy of the lease. Rocklin Ranch did everything right and I miss my old home :( I always recommend a top floor! (that's what I had, so I can't comment on the noises of walking above me) Until we meet again Rocklin! I love this place. I moved here from my home in Santa Clara, which I recently sold. I'm really loving the apartment lifestyle again -- no worries about dodgy appliances, leaking roofs, cleaning gutters, insuring against earthquakes... The list goes on and on. I love the feeling of community here. The staff are super nice and tolerate me well when I cruise thru the sales office to score free coffee and cookies. The mood is always "up" there. And why wouldn't it be? The maintenance staff is always jetting round in their golf carts fixing stuff and keeping the residents happy. Are there pets around? Yep! I love dogs, but I'm too busy to own one of my own. So I enjoy pestering my neighbors as they walk their dogs when I go to visit the mailbox. (The little dogs I always call "Cujo" as a nickname.) The place is pretty quiet. Actually, my neighbors had a lot more to fear from me in this category since I moved here with a large house-sized TV and thundering home theater system (with TWO powered sub-woofers, by the way). But since I'm a good egg I switch to wireless headphones at about 9-10 PM and nobody's called the cops on me yet! To comment on other's complaints.... Bugs? Haven't seen any yet. If I do, I'll get a pest control contract straight away. I won't tolerate 'em. Thin walls, loud neighbors? Heh heh, well they haven't complained yet! Seriously, I never hear my neighbors and hope they have no complaints about me. Dogs? Yep! Aren't they great! Love them doggies! Last, but certainly not least -- convenience! This place is literally within walking distance of great restaurants (Lucille's BBQ), diners (Mel's), and theaters (Blue Oaks Cinema). It has easy access to 65 as well as anyplace in Rocklin or Roseville, and light traffic on Blue Oaks itself. Downsides? IT'S FRIGGIN' HOT HERE! But that's Rocklin for you. At least the A/C works great and my electric bill for the last 30 days (which reached 108 deg. numerous times) was about $110. read more

First off, even thou we are starting our 2nd month here at Rocklin Ranch all I can say is it's AMAZING. So much more than one could imagine. From your first visit to the paper signing, been fantastic. Our contact person Stephanie Glass is awesome, (then continues to check on you making sure everything is going great) for that matter all of the wonderful folks behind the desk are awesome, so helpful, considerate, thoughtful. Rocklin Ranch makes you feel like "family". The amenities that you get here are equal to a 5 star resort. For that matter, you get the feeling your in a resort. So peaceful and quiet. Just to name a few things, 5 days a week they pick up your trash, (you have a special can to pur your bag in, set on your front porch, next morning bring it in and start over. Weekly insect spraying, amazing repair service (Chris is si friendly and goes 100% to make sure job done right), carpet cleaning service (for a very reasonable service charge a team comes in and cleans your carpets), very animal friendly place, covered parking, pools, hot tubes, BBQ areas, a room where packages are delivered to a safe locker (free service) so no worries on door-step deliveries, a dog park, dog bathing salon....and the list goes on. So, if your looking for an alternative to crazy life style quiet clean peaceful beautiful apartment to live, then Rocklin Ranch is the place to be. Warning do not move here.I personally am not a huge yelper but we are so fed up that it is necessary for future tenants. Reason number one is the roach infestation that they complex refuses to fix. Their solution is to have pest control come out to spray once a week. By the way this doesn't help at all. They still crawl through or lights, closets, drains, cabinets, etc. We see them outside all the time which are some of the photos I am posting tonight. We have to tape the drains and side boards of the wall to keep them from coming in. The complex is less than helpful with this issue. They just say that's all they can do. What they should do is offer another apartment in the complex until they fix the problem or give us a discount of some sort. They seem like they want to get as much money as they can from you without actually putting in any effort. They leave packages that come for other people outside your door and say that they're not responsible for packages. I understand that but maybe put them in the mail pick up room so random people can't just take 10 boxes not belonging to them. The manager of the office never returned phone calls half the time and we just are fed up. I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. read more

Now that I've moved, I am ready: PREFACE: 1.) I rarely write reviews. 2.) I've lived at 2 apartments previous where I had positive experiences so I do have an understanding that apartments are far from perfect and am not being a snob. As a young, single lady with a small dog, I was lured in to this complex by the large gates that lock after hours, the "dog park" area, Luxar package service, and the reasonably clean grounds. I signed a 1-year lease for an upstairs 1bd, 1ba, paying $1375 per month. Here we go... 1.) Parking. 5 days after I moved in, I went to my car and was greeted by a note from the person who parks next to me stating "You are not the only one who has to park here. Stay on your side. My car has a camera." That person had physically pushed my drivers side mirror flat against my car. NOTE: Each person here is assigned 1 COMPACT parking space with a large mental pole on one side. I have a small car and was well on my side of the line in my space, so much that I have scuff marks on the passenger side mirror from hitting the pole to make sure I was between my lines. 2.) Bugs. I woke up one morning to an itch on my arm, looked down and a HUGE cockroach was crawling on my arm. I found another crawling in the bathroom. I was also greeted by carpet ants as well in the BEDROOM- a place where no food had been, all of my clothes sitting on the floor of my bedroom, my alarm clock, the base of my bed, my dresser, the bathroom sink, floor, and shower were sprinkled with tiny, pine smelling ants. I opted to not engage management because I did not want the area sprayed d/t having a small dog. 3.) Auto Pay/Management. I had set up auto pay when I first moved in. One less thing to worry about. About 5 months into my lease, my credit card had expired and I was sent a new card and entered the new card into their system. No big deal, right? Wrong. Promptly on the 3rd, I had gotten home (4pm on a Friday) from work and had letter on my door. It was a letter stating that my rent was late and had a $50 late fee added to the total. I went to the office and figured it was a mistake. Apparently their credit card system accidentally charged my OLD card, then bounced it because it had expired and would not add the new card as priority. The management was EXTREMELY rude and took no responsibility stating that I would have to now (Friday 4:45pm) get a cashier's check (not cash or check) and bring it to them by 5pm WITH the $50 late fee included. From then on, I had to go to the bank and pay a $20 fee for a money order with my rent money EVERY month for the rest of my lease because their system was too stupid to figure out how to delete the old card. I had also called 2x and went in 1x to have them help me, and all I got were "blank stares" and answers like "I guess you will need to go to the bank and pay with money order". Seriously? That's ~$125 that they owe me. 4.) Mandatory Inspections. During my 1 year lease, there were 2 times that I was given a 2 DAY NOTICE for all unit heat and air inspections. All pets needed to be out from the hours of 9am-4pm on a TUESDAY and they would NOT reschedule or accommodate. Okay. In a complex filled with pets, how is it fair to give a 2-day notice to find a place for your pet to stay that day? I am lucky I could bring my dog to work, but if not? I guess I'd foot RR Apartments the bill for a day of dog boarding that day? Sounds fair. 6.) Loud Neighbors. This is the one I have saved till the end. The biggest, worst part of all. The neighbor under me was the loudest, rudest, most inconsiderate jerk of them all. Due to him not working, he would sit at home all day and NIGHT playing his base music so loud that Mars could hear it. I left him 2, kind letters to remind him that I do work and have to wake up at 5am, so playing loud music on a Wednesday night till 2am is not ideal. I called management. Their response: "we can't report it until we hear it". Okay. So I called them over. I waited 2 HOURS, they never came. I had to leave at this point. An hour later I get a call. They say, we are here at your apartment and it is very quiet. No complaint filed. No change. I even got recording of the music from my unit of the music. One day I stomped on the floor to remind the guy to turn down the music. He ran up the stairs, banged my door, and began cussing in my face about how it is "his right" to have his music however he wants. After this ordeal I packed a suitcase and moved back with my parents until the lease expired in May. I called the apartment, in tears, explaining to them that my apartment was unlivable d/t the noise and I either wanted out of my lease or to be moved . They said there was nothing they could do. So here I was paying close to $1400 a month for an apartment that I couldn't use. Funny, when talking to a neighbor apparently the PREVIOUS tenant had problems with my unit as well. I lived in the apartments for almost two years. The outside is kept very nice--it's a pretty place, especially when the leaves start to fall. The inside of the apartment was nice as well--granite counter tops, etc. I only needed maintenance a couple of times and both times they jumped on it really quick. Overall a very positive experience.
