A pawn shop and consignment store for appliances and electrical things which has been here for…read moreyears! They got TVs, kitchen things, stacks of tools, boxes, music players, computer systems & monitors... tons of things! I knew this had to be the place to find an Hi8 video camera cord, so I ask the attendant chillin at a rickety laptop watching a foreign film and asked if he could help me find out if there's a matching power cord. Rather than point out where to look or ask to see my camera he says he doesn't sell them & that I would have to go on Ebay. Grouched at his unhelpful response, I left him to search his store on my own to find bins of power electrical plug in cords which were in proximity to his right. I take out my camera to test cords into its socket. The attendant asks to look at it, hesitantly I show him & strikes up a conversation about how he had financed $1,000 for one of these in the early 2000s. With that, it opened his affinity to help & said maybe the Chinese guy on the right would help. I looked to the right seeing no one but a wall. The attendant says go around. I take my things & find a Chinese guy behind the wall with more electrical things and what did I immediately see... A camera power cord that matched at hand's reach -_- It goes to show: Persistence is key! I was hoping I would get this for a bargain being that no one goes to look for these things anymore, but the dang cord cost $25. Bargain if you can though! This is the store to do so!

I used this shop to sell some jewelry and I was disappointed by their inconsistent information…read more First I went to the location near me and was told that I needed to go to their other location in order to get full price for the items I wanted to sell because they could only give me a price for the gold, not the jewels (precious stones). I explained that I'm disabled and that getting to the other location would be a hardship for me, but they insisted that's where I had to go. So I made the difficult trip to the other location and they told me there that they had no way to figure out the worth of the stones, so they would only give me a price for the gold. This means I could have sold the jewelry at the first location and didn't need to go through so much trouble and pain. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to sell to them because it's not possible for me to get around and check other shops, but they deceived me so I don't trust them to make another sale.

I don't work there I don't have any connection to this place other than being a customer. I had a fire in my apartment and lost everything except a few guitars that I had in pawn,.but I had no money. They held my stuff for a year and didn't close my ticket after finding out about my situation. Also I went to another pawn broker a few times and felt like I went to the mafia. Their rates at Paradise were so much more reasonable. I mean a million times more. I can't say enough just how much kindness they showed me. I didn't read other posts but people get mad if they don't get everything they want. Or someone was in a bad mood and they didn't like that. Trust me, you can trust them. Thank you guys

I just got back from here and I cannot say enough positive things about this place!…read moreFirst off, they are SUPER nice and grateful for their customers. I went in to sell my tiny wedding band from my ex. It was sitting in my drawer for 4 years and I had completely forgot about it. Super tiny with like 1/10 k of diamonds. I was expecting to get $15 and he gave me more than double! I'm so happy I didn't go to a check cashing place to pawn it. When I walked in Ryan, maybe the owner, greeted me with a smile. He was more than happy to help me and spend time explaining things even though they were closing. I told him why I was there and he immediately gave me a mini Poland Spring bottle of cold water. Immediately I was impressed. That type of hospitality is HUGE in my book! He weighed it while talking to me and told me how much it was worth. Of course I took the $$$. The ring was garbage to me. While he was helping me I couldn't help but notice the GORGEOUS items they had for sale. Wow, just stunning.....and the prices were right! I urge you to check this place out. I can almost guarantee you'll be impressed. Support small local businesses vs big companies who mostly care about their bottom line instead of making customers happy. I will definitely go there if I'm looking for a nice piece of jewelry.
