Just had work done today. The workers that showed up at the house were very respectful and nice…read more(and very knowledgable). Took time to understand the situation (really slow water pressure in one bathroom and small drip that sounded like a leak). They replaced 3 bathtub drains that were corroded, fixed the issue with the water pressure and found what the drip was without putting holes in the ceiling below the bathtub (which was a plus). All works great and am very satisfied. Would recommend Farrell Plumbing & Cooling as a great option for those in the valley. p.s. They were recommended by a coworker for whom they had recently done some repairs. Since they were happy with the work and my prior plumber is no longer in business, I needed to find someone reputable. Will definitely use them again.

I called Mark in the morning, and he gave me a 1PM appointment. 15 minutes before the appointment he called to inform me he was on his way, and he arrived on time. After inspecting the damage and giving me a couple of recommendations, we went with the quick and economical option. Then he started immediately. While he worked he kept the area clean, and cleaned up after. He went over his estimate by about 15 minutes but only because he was unable to salvage the trim. Otherwise, it's almost as if nothing happened. I'm quite satisfied with the results and the quick response, and all at a very reasonable rate. Overall, by RGV standards, this builder builds a decent house... however he doesn't like to stand…read morebehind his work. Even though you receive a one year warranty with your home purchase, he fights you when it comes to fixing things! Our backyard started to sink in several places, causing the grass to flood and die... and as the ground sank, it made the sprinkler heads stick way out of the ground. Majority of the sinking was directly along the irrigation lines... In other words, you can see where the piping was laid without even mapping it out. He claims it was our dog that made the ground sink... In perfect symmetrical lines leading to the sprinklers- lol. He tried defending his work by pointing out that it was sinking along another irrigation line but that the grass hadn't died in that spot... It's like he believes as long as the grass can grow over the trench, it's quality work. In the end, he said he doesn't cover the yard in the one year warranty. But in reality, it's not just yard issues he fights his buyers on... We've been in our new home for a little over 5 months and he just recently finished replacing our fireplace after he broke the initial one during installation. At first, he fought replacing the fireplace as well until we took it apart in front of him and proved that he had never removed a cap that was supposed to be removed and had screwed it down into the regulator, breaking it. He is gaining a bad reputation when it comes to repairs and doesn't always stand by his promise to build a "quality home".
