Stopped in two days in a row while visiting from California. I wanted to love this place in a 5…read morestar way because the place is extremely clean and they use really good equipment. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in helping you understand the functions of the very different beds they have. However, it is EXTREMELY overpriced. Although I did not join a monthly membership (being from out of the area) my first time cost me $34. I did purchase a packet of bronzer but even so, that's still steep. The following day, it cost me $38.50... and I did not purchase any packets because I had some left from the prior day. I'm not sure how they calculate their cost per tan but the service price is very steep. If I lived locally I'd probably find another spot to tan.

This location cares more about their numbers than customer experience…read more I tried transferring my active Austin, TX PBT membership to this location because they could never find my account each time I came in with their database & would let other customers ahead of me. Instead of letting me transfer stores like a franchise should they were forcing me to set up a new membership with a cc & treating me as they were doing me a favor to use their location as if I wasn't already a paying member. To sign up for the same benefits I had in TX would be exponentially higher needing to also sign up for a wellness program. Understandable the Lancaster store doesn't have identical machines but they would not honor the wellness benefits I had with my long term membership or even discuss including something comparable. New membership with less value when I simply needed to transfer PBT locations? Sign up again for automatic draft? No thank you. I spoke with the owner of the PBT Lancaster but she was unwilling to discuss a negotiation or acknowledge the frustration of loss of benefits. I googled, as a consumer, how using franchises benefit us. Franchises are suppose to be ensuring the CUSTOMER receives the same level of quality & service regardless of the location. Epic fail. Was a member since 2019. I need to feel like I can trust a company to treat me fairly to trust them with automatic payments. This location lost my trust when they didn't respect my membership moving from another state so I canceled my membership. This review comes after speaking with the owner. Don't let their response fool you. The owner was given the opportunity to right the wrong before I made this review.

My favorite is the Cocoon Infrared Sauna Pod with vibrating massage. I use it for 30 minutes to start my day and find it incredibly relaxing. A daily reset. I also use the P90 Tanning Bed, which I really like because it's open-air and only takes 12 minutes. Fast! I'm often told I have great c And I use the Facial Red and Blue Light Therapy Unit for 15 minutes. I'm not getting any younger, so I'm definitely interested in anything to help my wrinkles and aging. I've also tried the Cryotherapy Chamber and absolutely love how clear-minded I feel when I come out. A reset button for over-thinkers! The shake plate was just introduced to me. I was reluctant. But I loved it. And somehow I burned calories? But honestly...the very best thing about Baja is the people. You'd never know if any of these beautiful women were having a bad day because they are always smiling, kind, and genuinely caring. 100% every time...I leave happier and feeling better than when walked through the door. A special thank you to Anique and Taylor who I seem to deal with most often. I truly appreciate you both and everyone at Baja Beach. Great services, great atmosphere, and even better people.
