The best tattoo shop in the area. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is great. Joe is awesome! Wouldn't get a tattoo anywhere else!

With our consultation, we have specifically looked over dozens of images of real bears to find the perfect one. We found the perfect picture and he was able to freehand the image with ease. This wasn't my first tattoo by him but it is the largest piece I have; once I found a good artist, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I wanted him to work on my cover-up. The Bad: Tattoos hurt, obviously! Edwin was able to suggest getting numbing cream to apply before the session to help with the pain. He also has the option of tattooing for an hour and spraying a numbing spray. Just be careful that you aren't allergic to it before asking for the spray. The Ugly: People might think that his prices are high but I think that they are perfectly reasonable. The initial payment with booking his time is put towards the payment of the tattoo and the additional hours after are totally worth every dollar you spend. His work is amazing! On to my next adventure...

He listens, advises and does a wonderfully amazing job. Super easy going, very very clean environment. Had my first tattoo in some time done on 10/11/2020 and will be going back for more work. If you want QUALITY work, from a QUALITY individual. You need to come by and see Edwin.

Had an appointment for a peirceing with Jason Y for a month. Show up tonight for the appointment…read moreand the stoned guy on the couch said Jason must have forgot and went home at 4. I will not be rescheduling or ever setting foot back in this buissness. Incredibly unprofessional.

I got my septum pierced at this shop by Jason and I cannot think of a single way he could have done…read morebetter. I had wanted to get my septum done for a long time but listened to other people about my life for too long. My husband found out I wanted it and encouraged me to finally do it for myself, I was, however, also extremely nervous. I have anxiety and a low pain tolerance, and I wanted to get it done before I lost my nerve lol. I was originally going to go elsewhere but that fell through which was upsetting at the time but I'm glad in the long run. I searched through so many shops trying to find a reputable, affordable shop that wasn't too far distance-wise and who's hours worked with my schedule. I called them last minute (fully expecting to be told no as it was 6:40 when I called, I was 40 minutes away, my ride was still 10 minutes out, and they closed at 8.) he said "yeah, come on down, it's no problem." My husband and I went, I think it was obvious I was a little nervous, but Jason was really cool with us the entire time. He made some jokes, explained things clearly, made sure I was as comfortable with the process as I could be, and was very encouraging, clean, and precise throughout the actual piercing. I had previously gotten my nose pierced and the piercer had been really nice but he fumbled around a lot with the piercing and it hurt like nobody's business. I won't say this felt good, but it was the best conditions I could've possibly hoped for. I guess if I absolutely had to come up with a criticism, it would be that while the needle was still in my nose, He and my husband were joking about how it actually looked kind of bad ass, I wish one of them would've offered to take a picture, because afterwords, I was curious, but in the moment I would've lost my nerve as soon as I saw myself in the mirror. This is my piercing place from now for as long as I'm within an hour drive!

"If you want to waste your time, this shop is the place to go. I've got over 40% of my body…read moretattooed, always from professional shops. I went in for a $600+ piece and was asked for ID, which I don't have since I don't drive--a requirement I've never encountered at any other shop. When I showed them a photo of my ID and even offered to fax it to them for a physical copy, it wasn't good enough. I asked for a refund of my deposit, but they refused. Nowhere in the shop does it state they require IDs, and there's no mention of a no-refund policy. I had to involve the police department, and after the commotion, the shop owner agreed to refund my $60 deposit to my wife, who then used it to get a mini tattoo. This shop is absolutely trash and was unfortunately recommended to me. We only completed the transaction so we wouldn't lose the deposit. I highly recommend Electric City in Scranton instead--a better shop with nicer people, cleaner work, and cheaper prices. I've never had issues there, despite having over a hundred hours of ink. I'll post this review on every Northeast PA and PA tattoo group page to warn others about this shop's prioritization of profits over customer satisfaction."

So glad to see he has his own spot now! I recently visited to have Ryan reinsert my nose piercing after I had to remove it due to surgery. Well, I waited too long (2 weeks) and he ended up having to re-pierce it. In one word, Ryan is AWESOME. He's very professional and knowledgeable and takes time to talk to his clients and explain any questions they might have. My friend and I intend on visiting soon to have another piercing done.

**5/3 ETA: Tristan, the shop owner, personally reached out and was sincerely apologetic about my…read moreexperience. He generously offered a refund of the $80 I paid for the tattoo, which I have since received. I truly appreciate his professionalism and the respectful way he handled the situation.** I had a strange and ultimately disappointing experience here. On April 18th, I booked two appointments through the Booksy link in their Instagram bio--one for me and one for my niece, scheduled for April 26th. I live two hours away in Philly and was coming to town to celebrate her birthday; the tattoos were my gift to her. A small deposit of $39.76 was required at booking. On April 24th, I received a text from Danny asking what we wanted. I responded with reference photos, and he replied that we'd talk more the next day--but we didn't, which I figured meant he felt the designs were simple enough to proceed with. When we arrived for our appointments, a friendly woman at the front desk greeted us and had us sign waivers. Danny came out and asked what we wanted, which was odd since we'd just discussed it two days earlier, but I re-explained and showed him the same photos. He took pictures of them with his iPad, despite already having them via text. Before heading back to sketch, he asked if we had cash. I didn't, so I asked if they had an ATM--he directed me to the bank across the street. I get that many artists prefer cash, but considering there's a big sign at the front promoting "tattoo financing" via buy-now-pay-later services, it was surprising they don't take something like Venmo. Not a huge deal, just something to note. What did feel off was Danny's demeanor. He didn't seem happy to be there and gave off a vibe that we were a burden. While that alone wouldn't have ruined the experience, it added to the general awkwardness. My niece went first--her session took maybe 10 minutes, but the results were nice. I was next, and my design took about the same amount of time. Unfortunately, that quickness showed. I noticed wobbly linework right away, especially along the shaft of the sword. I didn't mention it to him--if he was satisfied enough to call it done, I didn't think pointing it out would help. When it came time to pay, I asked if my deposit was credited toward the total. He seemed surprised and said, "You made a deposit?" After checking with the shop owner, he confirmed it--but then claimed, "After taxes, your deposit is $30." For the record, tattoos are not taxable in Pennsylvania [39 Pa.B. 7256]. Even if they were, the sales tax in Stroudsburg is 6%, which would amount to just $2.39. So unless they're charging a mystery 25% tax, the numbers didn't add up. I didn't push the issue--I wasn't about to derail my niece's birthday over $9.76, even if the handling of it felt disingenuous. In total, I paid $220 beyond the deposit--$80 for my tattoo and $120 for hers--which I had intended as a generous tip. That's what I usually tip my artist in Philly, and I wanted to extend the same respect here. But in hindsight, I over-tipped for a subpar experience. I mentioned maybe coming back next year--it's become a tradition to get tattoos for my niece's birthday--but after leaving, I knew I wouldn't return. Once I got a better look at my tattoo, I was even more disappointed: the handle isn't centered, one of the circles at the end is visibly larger than the other, and the shaft is noticeably crooked. My heart sank--it looked worse than I thought. I'll have it fixed or covered by my regular artist, but the whole situation is just a letdown. I'd seen Danny's work on Instagram and was genuinely impressed. It's baffling that something as simple as a line drawing could be so poorly executed by someone whose portfolio suggests far more technical skill.
