Had an appointment for a peirceing with Jason Y for a month. Show up tonight for the appointment…read moreand the stoned guy on the couch said Jason must have forgot and went home at 4. I will not be rescheduling or ever setting foot back in this buissness. Incredibly unprofessional.

I had wanted to get my septum done for a long time but listened to other people about my life for too long. My husband found out I wanted it and encouraged me to finally do it for myself, I was, however, also extremely nervous. I have anxiety and a low pain tolerance, and I wanted to get it done before I lost my nerve lol. I was originally going to go elsewhere but that fell through which was upsetting at the time but I'm glad in the long run. I searched through so many shops trying to find a reputable, affordable shop that wasn't too far distance-wise and who's hours worked with my schedule. I called them last minute (fully expecting to be told no as it was 6:40 when I called, I was 40 minutes away, my ride was still 10 minutes out, and they closed at 8.) he said "yeah, come on down, it's no problem." My husband and I went, I think it was obvious I was a little nervous, but Jason was really cool with us the entire time. He made some jokes, explained things clearly, made sure I was as comfortable with the process as I could be, and was very encouraging, clean, and precise throughout the actual piercing. I had previously gotten my nose pierced and the piercer had been really nice but he fumbled around a lot with the piercing and it hurt like nobody's business. I won't say this felt good, but it was the best conditions I could've possibly hoped for. I guess if I absolutely had to come up with a criticism, it would be that while the needle was still in my nose, He and my husband were joking about how it actually looked kind of bad ass, I wish one of them would've offered to take a picture, because afterwords, I was curious, but in the moment I would've lost my nerve as soon as I saw myself in the mirror. This is my piercing place from now for as long as I'm within an hour drive!

With our consultation, we have specifically looked over dozens of images of real bears to find the perfect one. We found the perfect picture and he was able to freehand the image with ease. This wasn't my first tattoo by him but it is the largest piece I have; once I found a good artist, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I wanted him to work on my cover-up. The Bad: Tattoos hurt, obviously! Edwin was able to suggest getting numbing cream to apply before the session to help with the pain. He also has the option of tattooing for an hour and spraying a numbing spray. Just be careful that you aren't allergic to it before asking for the spray. The Ugly: People might think that his prices are high but I think that they are perfectly reasonable. The initial payment with booking his time is put towards the payment of the tattoo and the additional hours after are totally worth every dollar you spend. His work is amazing! On to my next adventure...

"If you want to waste your time, this shop is the place to go. I've got over 40% of my body…read moretattooed, always from professional shops. I went in for a $600+ piece and was asked for ID, which I don't have since I don't drive--a requirement I've never encountered at any other shop. When I showed them a photo of my ID and even offered to fax it to them for a physical copy, it wasn't good enough. I asked for a refund of my deposit, but they refused. Nowhere in the shop does it state they require IDs, and there's no mention of a no-refund policy. I had to involve the police department, and after the commotion, the shop owner agreed to refund my $60 deposit to my wife, who then used it to get a mini tattoo. This shop is absolutely trash and was unfortunately recommended to me. We only completed the transaction so we wouldn't lose the deposit. I highly recommend Electric City in Scranton instead--a better shop with nicer people, cleaner work, and cheaper prices. I've never had issues there, despite having over a hundred hours of ink. I'll post this review on every Northeast PA and PA tattoo group page to warn others about this shop's prioritization of profits over customer satisfaction."

So glad to see he has his own spot now! I recently visited to have Ryan reinsert my nose piercing after I had to remove it due to surgery. Well, I waited too long (2 weeks) and he ended up having to re-pierce it. In one word, Ryan is AWESOME. He's very professional and knowledgeable and takes time to talk to his clients and explain any questions they might have. My friend and I intend on visiting soon to have another piercing done.

She has an incredible eye for detail and listens to my requests. My brows and lips and very natural, and have received great feedback on PMU groups. I don't remember her telling me her name. They didn't ask to see my id but they put my license number in the consent form. They handed me a bin of jewelry but I could tell it was low quality and it was all butterfly backs (piercings should be done with flat backs). I should have left there, but I decided to go through with it since they would have charged me for canceling. I sat down in a tiny room and she got me ready for the piercing. Then another piercer came in and was loudly talking to my piercer and it was amplified by the small room- not pleasant. She pierced one ear and it looked fine, she got to the other ear and I started gushing blood so she SCREAMED for her boyfriend to bring paper towels- That scared me and made me panic a bit. The finished piercings looked fine at first glance but when I looked at them from the side it was clear my ear was pierced on a diagonal. I wasn't told any aftercare but I assume that's because I already have many piercings. I don't know if I should take them out and loose $70 or if I should see if they heal. (I'm worried they won't since they were pierced incorrectly.) EDIT: They gave me the option to take them out and either get a refund or get them redone. They were super nice and understanding about the situation.
