Rockin Ronny's? Rip off Ronny's is more like it!!!! I had them remove my viper and smart chip from old vehicle and install in new one. They cracked my instrument panel in the process. I didn't discover it until the next day. When I went back the guy denied doing it. I asked to speak to the owner. He told me how honest they are. And they didn't do it. He told me there is a screw in that exact spot that must have been to tight and the heat caused it to crack. Well he lied!!! The screws that hold it in place are on the sides. So I am left with 1000.00 in damage. The cluster in one piece so the whole thing needs to be replaced!! I would have thought they had insurance to cover something like this. Apparently not as they won't take responsibility for the damages they caused. Do not trust your vehicle with Rip off Ronny's!!!!! read more

I am a good red blooded American that was born in the mid 70's. That being said I grew up in the 80's and early 90's when hair metal was cool and Kenwood truck speakers behind the bench seat were the answer. Now many years later and after listening to the adds for Rockin Ronny's on KXLP. I knew I needed to search them out and find out Who, What, and where was this so called place "Rockin Ronny's". I arrived to a nice clean facility. My wants and needs were meet by Derren and his staff. I cant say enough positive about how I was treated and the products I got. I have bought 2 sound systems from this place and if you are looking for clean loud crisp sound look no further!!! Two terrible experiences with them. First, while installing an electric starter they set off the air bag and then made my ex's insurance pay for it. Then tried to refuse him a refund of the car starter when he said he didn't want them to work on it again. Two- i bought a car starter on the radio auction from them. They flat out lied at how much it was worth saying around 450, when i went in after purchasing, they were selling it for 199. Then they charged me extra costs to install it, that they did not tell us about when they put it on the auction . They really try to rip off their customers so beware! read more

I am on my 5th remote start (bought a couple for family Christmas presents) in the last 10 years and I have been a loyal Rockin Ronny's customer for every single one! A couple days ago I bought a new (used) Tahoe which I picked up from the dealership and headed straight to Rockin Ronny's. The guy at the desk was pretty much disinterested in my interest in another remote. He said there was a chip in the key so it would cost a lot more. My boyfriend was with me, who knows alot about cars, told him that there was not a chip. The guy actually argued that 'YES, THERE IS'. We were both fed up with this guys attitude and just walked out. Kind of a downer after being so excited about the new Tahoe! We headed to Sweet Sounds (had never been there before) and were immediately greeted by John, who was outstanding:) He answered every single question we had and even gave us a decent discount on the unit we wanted. John also agreed there was no chip. When my new Tahoe needs to be replaced I will be taking the next car to Sweet Sounds!!! P.S. I had to make a couple extra keys at Ace Hardware today and was told by them that there WAS NOT a chip in my key;) read more
