If I could I would leave NO STARS. The owner quoted me 100 to 125 to replace the speakers in my 2012 Mac Book Pro that he has worked on before. He called today 09-10-24 and told me it was done, the cost 219 dollars. He gave me all kinds of excuses of why it cost so much. Mind you he has been in business 5 decades and was very proud of telling me so. Let me get this right he has been in business 50 years and quotes me 100 to 125 and then proceeds to jack up the price over 100% of his lowest quote and almost 100% of his highest quote. He did give me a Veterans discount of 21,69$ so what, he went above and beyond to take advantage of me. I highly recommend that you do NOT HAVE REPAIRS DONE THERE. Took in my MacBook Pro because I had dropped it on its edge about a year ago, and it recently began this thing that the screen went black if I opened it too far. They tried the least expensive fix first, and it mostly fixed it, but then went on to the next step of ordering a new screen. They used the payment for the first unsuccessful fix as a down payment and then applied it to the final cost. The guys there are wonderful. Very friendly and understanding of my desperate need of my computer, and were forthcoming about the steps needed to fix the computer- including that it might not be fixable and they would only charge me for the cost of the parts and diagnostic. Not impressed with the customer service and the work performed was under par and very expensive. I had my IPAD screen replaced last summer at the tune of $160.00 the screen was not sealed correctly and started to com up on one corner . Their warranty is for a week or ten days. I took it back to have it repaired again, this time they charged me $80 and guess what it has been A few months since the second repair and the screen is coming up again. My wife totally mistreated her laptop repeatedly. eventually the power cord didn't seem to work to charge nor directly power the laptop. I brought it to Geeks 2 U and they did a great job. Turned out that the problem was a simple module change. I had my laptop back in a day (after they received the part from an order).
