    Grouper Tacos

This was right across the street from our hotel so on the first day we decided to give it a try; and I'm glad we did. The Grilled Shrimp Tacos were good but the Fried Grouper Tacos were fabulous! I would go again. We went at lunch and there was no wait but at night there is live music and it's a big party every night!

Ah, Rock House Live, the place where dreams are made and vocal cords are shattered. This bar is our go-to spot for post-dinner drinks when we're in the Clearwater Area. It's an entertainment-driven/theme bar that's sure to have you singing (or screaming) your heart out. We stumbled in on a Thursday evening and were blessed with the sweet sounds of karaoke. Let me tell you, the skill level was all over the place. We had a cat meowing violently, nails scratching on a chalkboard, and some people who were actually pretty good - they should probably try out for American Idol or something. Now, I must confess, I have a not-so-hidden, now "supposedly" hidden talent for singing. That's right, I did it. I sang karaoke. Not once, not twice, but three times that night. Admittedly, it took a cocktail or two to get me up there, but once I started, I couldn't stop. After taking the mic into my own hands and singing my heart out to Inrid Andress's More Hearts Than Mine, I figured why stop there? So, I propped up the karaoke DJ like an old friend and we launched into one of our all time favorites, Pink's Just Give Me A Reason. The crowd was loving it - or maybe they were just being polite. Either way, I felt like a rockstar. On the weekends, they usually have bands that are awesome to hear to perform. The staff is lively and downright fun. They may not have a huge selection of beers on tap, but they have all the classic mixed drinks. I can't speak to the food because we haven't actually eaten here, but if you're looking for a night to remember (or forget, depending on how many cocktails you have), Rock House Live is the place to be. Grab a mic, order a drink, and get ready to entertain the masses - or at least the people sitting at the bar. Cheers!

Amazing!!!! I love this place!! Alex behind the bar is an absolute smoke show and has a personality to match. Corey (manager) was more than willing to answer all my questions about the calamari lol! Get the rockin FROSE. You will not be disappointed! Come here! It's awesome!!! Side note- fingers crossed my car doesn't get towed ‍

Best Alligator Bites I have ever had. Service was good and the DJ started up while we were eating. The music he was playing was a bit off for my taste but he was certainly good at his job. As for the food like I mentioned the Gator Bites I had were great and the Fish Tacos my wife had looked amazing. After seeing her plate I almost wished I had ordered them instead. Our server did a great job and made sure we had everything we needed and didn't run out of anything! I would certainly eat hear again. Only thing that may stop me is the music.

Just happened upon this place walking back to our hotel. What caught my eye was that they had a live band playing and a sign that said best burger on the beach. Unfortunately no one in my party ordered a burger but the band was amazing. They sang a lot of older r and b songs which I love. The crowd was really into it and dancing. Felt like I was at a concert. I had the grouper sandwich grilled with tots. My daughter had the mozzarella sticks and her dad got the pulled pork nachos. The nachos were honestly enough for the whole table. The mozzarella sticks were good but not enough for $12. My sandwich was fine. The service was good but took a while to get drinks. And a shot of tequila was$15 which is ridiculous. It was family friendly good food and vibe. I would go back for sure but wouldn't want to spend $100 so would choose things more wiser.

Great band but they allow people to smoke in their outside bar that blows right into their inside bar. So if you like your cosmos (with a lemon ) and cigarette smoke, then this is the place for you

Their menu had some decent options and they were willing to work with us to provide lower carb options. Three stand out servers to mention: Cass & Jason and Kimi. These three were rockstars and made our stay so good! They earned the triple digit tips and were much appreciated! Conversely, and the reason I dropped a star, was Omar. He was a terrible server that was more interested in picking up on the young ladies around the pool than doing his job as a server. If you find yourself in his section consider moving or just go to the bar and get your own food and drinks. He is the sorriest excuse for a server on the planet. He completely ignored my wife and I. We had to come to him to order, not the other way around. At first the bar told us we had to order from him, but I pressed the issue and Brandon let me open a new tab with them. Less convenient, but way better service than Omar. A stand out moment was on Thursday, when they ran out of Deep Eddy Lemon. Cass ensured there was a new bottle the following morning. Likewise on Saturday, they ran out of Deep Eddy Lemon once again. Jason asked if there was any other vodka that would work. I said something to the effect of "no thanks.... I'll just pass." I think he moved mountains to locate another bottle on premises keeping the vacation and vibes flowing. Much appreciation Cass & Jason! Kimi didn't move mountains for us, but she was regularly there for us. On time, on target.

Their Thanksgiving buffet is truly exceptional -- beautifully prepared dishes, delicious flavors, and so many options that everyone walks away happy (and very full!). It's the perfect place if you want a relaxing holiday without the stress of planning, cooking, or cleaning. You just show up, enjoy, and feel taken care of. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming -- it honestly feels like visiting your relatives for Thanksgiving, but with way better food. The staff is a huge part of what makes this place so special. The menu sounded good, but I kept my expectations low because of the negative reviews. To my pleasant surprise, I was blown away by how good the food was!!! This might be some of the best seafood I have ever ordered on the beach! Rusty's Bistro, located at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, is one of more upscale restaurants of the three choices at the resort. The menu includes many local seafood choices as well as several dishes with an Italian flair. The kid's menu offers everything from steak Kabobs and fish and chips to children favorites such as chicken tenders, hot dogs, burgers and pasta. Everything we ordered was excellent, even the children meals were or high quality! My husband and I shared an appetizer of PEI mussels that were accompanied by the tastiest broth and charred bread. For my entree I selected the scallops and my husband ordered the catch of the day. The side dishes change seasonally so you can always expect the freshest vegetables to be served with your entree. The service was just as excellent as our meal. We adored our server and the manager made time to stop by our table to chat with us. When we mentioned the food was so good, but we wish we weren't seated next to the kitchen with the loud construction they offered to immediately move our table and offered complimentary dessert. I will go out of my way to eat here again because this was such a great meal and the service went above and beyond!!!

When we arrived, the hostess initially tried to seat us in direct sunlight even though there were several shaded tables available. I asked if we could sit in the shade instead, and she happily accommodated us. Our waitress appeared to be the only server working, yet she did an excellent job keeping up with all of her tables. She was attentive, friendly, and provided great service throughout our meal. We started with the coconut shrimp, which were perfectly crispy and delicious. The only odd thing was that they were served on a bed of rice, which didn't really make sense with the dish. We also ordered the grouper po' boy, and it was huge with well-seasoned, flavorful fish. The crab cakes, however, were a disappointment. They were heavily seasoned with Old Bay to the point that it overpowered the crab. I actually had to scrape off the top layer of seasoning just to enjoy them. For drinks, I ordered an IPA, and we also tried the Strawberry Smash that our waitress recommended. Unfortunately, the cocktail was the weakest part of the meal. It tasted more like club soda with muddled strawberries and mint than an actual mixed drink, and it was surprisingly difficult to drink through the straw. Overall, Salty's is a solid spot if you're looking for a casual meal that's convenient and satisfying. The service was excellent, and a couple of the food items really stood out, but nothing we ordered was memorable enough that I'd go out of my way to come back. I'd recommend it for a quick bite, just don't expect to be blown away.
