The boat shuttle is a small little boat that fits up to 6 people and it took all of 5-10 minutes to get from the ferry dock to Honeymoon. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They set up your chairs wherever you want on the beach. They pull out the kayaks for you and give you the snorkel gear. I was a little disappointed because if you are just doing the equipment rental you're not allowed to kayak passed the confines of honeymoon beach, which is kind of small. I have a feeling that is for your own safety though so you don't get overzealous and find yourself lost out on the water without a tour guide! We didn't end up using the SUPs but they were available if we wanted. We snorkeled and unfortunately there wasn't a lot of fish. But we did see a couple sea turtles which was what I was hoping for!! I will say, the food and drinks they sell in the hut are super expensive and downright not worth it. So bring a mini cooler with snacks and water if you can! It was a leisurely day and we liked being able to snorkel and kayak of our own free will!

We thought we were going to the beach we experienced during a cruise, but we're sadly disappointed…read more The beach is nice no waves clear water just what you want in the Caribbean. And the beach was free but it cost $10 to taxi ride down to the beach. The pizza was good The drinks were overpriced. But the souvenir cup was worth it. Not sure I come back again but who knows so sure?

Made sure we had plenty to drink and served light appetizers. They were friendly and seemed to be there with a smile when we needed anything. It was cloudy and thought that we wouldn't get much of a sunset ... but we were wrong. Wow ... what a spectacular sky. Highly recommend this sunset cruise for a relaxing evening on the water

**Amazing Jet Ski Tour and Fantastic Guide!**…read more Cruz Bay Watersports made our visit to St. John unforgettable! We loved the convenience of having their storefront right at our resort, the Westin St. John Resort & Villas, making it so easy to book a tour. The guided jet ski tour we took was hands-down the most fun we had during our trip! We started the 1 hour tour from our resort in Great Cruz Bay to our 1st stop at Steven Cay before heading north to Two Brothers island for more fun jet skiiing near the island. On the way back, we stopped near deeper waters to zip around Moraviane Reef - safe for jet skiing and being away from boat traffic. A special shout-out to our guide, **Josh**, who took incredible care of us throughout the entire experience. I was a bit nervous at first, but Josh was so attentive and made me feel completely at ease. He kept a close eye on me while I followed behind and ensured that I was comfortable and safe the whole time. Josh also went above and beyond by taking plenty of videos and photos of us on the jet skis, which gave us the best memories to take home. If you're looking for a fun and safe adventure while in St. John, **Cruz Bay Watersports** is the way to go. We'll definitely be back!

We hiked to Maho from Cinnamon…read moreBay--not a bad hike, despite what people say--and we went on Taco Tuesday (1/2/24) because... well, it was Taco Tuesday! But not everything goes according to plan on St. John, and there were NO TACOS! That's alright, we just went with the flow, and no complaints. Instead, I had a Cruz Bay Burger, and my wife had the Mahi Mahi Sandwich. We picked up a painkiller and a lime in d'coconut to wash them down. You'll see people complain about prices at the Crossroads, but not us. The food was hot, tasty, and the drinks were smooth, yet strong (which is why we only had one each). It's worth a couple bucks more to have your food at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Maho Beach is one of the best places to see sea turtles, and we managed to see one, despite the cloudier-than-usual water, due to wave action. The other complaint you hear a lot is from folks who remember Maho from "back then," a quieter time, with no Crossroads. I get that, especially for folks who live on the island. But for the tourists, it's sure nice to be able to have a complete experience at Maho--amazing beach, food, recreational rentals, shirts, mugs, etc. We picked up a couple fun reusable pint cups with our drinks, and now use them back home. It's a happy memory, for sure.
