**Amazing Jet Ski Tour and Fantastic Guide!**…read more Cruz Bay Watersports made our visit to St. John unforgettable! We loved the convenience of having their storefront right at our resort, the Westin St. John Resort & Villas, making it so easy to book a tour. The guided jet ski tour we took was hands-down the most fun we had during our trip! We started the 1 hour tour from our resort in Great Cruz Bay to our 1st stop at Steven Cay before heading north to Two Brothers island for more fun jet skiiing near the island. On the way back, we stopped near deeper waters to zip around Moraviane Reef - safe for jet skiing and being away from boat traffic. A special shout-out to our guide, **Josh**, who took incredible care of us throughout the entire experience. I was a bit nervous at first, but Josh was so attentive and made me feel completely at ease. He kept a close eye on me while I followed behind and ensured that I was comfortable and safe the whole time. Josh also went above and beyond by taking plenty of videos and photos of us on the jet skis, which gave us the best memories to take home. If you're looking for a fun and safe adventure while in St. John, **Cruz Bay Watersports** is the way to go. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful clear waters and we were visited by a stingray and sea turtle. We did have to take about a mile hike to the beach, but we saw a taxi drop by at some point so I guess there is an option to be driven there. The hike was no bad and fairly flat the entire time, with some rocks. I managed in flip flops. It looked like there were concessions that may be open during a busier time, but were closed when we visited.

This beach was not that great compared to the beautiful secluded beaches that St. John has to offer. Pretty disappointing honestly. It was SO CROWDED on a Sunday. So many people, floaties, and kayaks polluted the water. Lots of debris in the sand and in the water too. A lot of their trees have swarms of bees too! When we came around 2:00 PM, there were strong waves that would constantly slap us in the face with salt water. The water was not peaceful at all. There is also a lot of people in line at the Bikinis On The Beach Bar. It was not worth it and the food is so overpriced. They also have a gift shop where you can rent beach chairs, floaties, and kayaks... but honestly, they just leave them all over the beach anyways. Just use them for free. If you are looking for a beach to party at with a big group with lots of rentals and you don't mind the $10 shuttle fee... This might be the place for you.

The boat shuttle is a small little boat that fits up to 6 people and it took all of 5-10 minutes to get from the ferry dock to Honeymoon. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They set up your chairs wherever you want on the beach. They pull out the kayaks for you and give you the snorkel gear. I was a little disappointed because if you are just doing the equipment rental you're not allowed to kayak passed the confines of honeymoon beach, which is kind of small. I have a feeling that is for your own safety though so you don't get overzealous and find yourself lost out on the water without a tour guide! We didn't end up using the SUPs but they were available if we wanted. We snorkeled and unfortunately there wasn't a lot of fish. But we did see a couple sea turtles which was what I was hoping for!! I will say, the food and drinks they sell in the hut are super expensive and downright not worth it. So bring a mini cooler with snacks and water if you can! It was a leisurely day and we liked being able to snorkel and kayak of our own free will!

It was just okay....or actually....there are better places and beaches in the US Virgin Islands to visit other than here. My goal of exploring St. John and having the opportunity to check another national park off the list was my primary goal. When arriving here at Virgin Islands NP....I had 2 days to explore. I had researched almost all the beaches and landmarks that were navigable. This Solomon Beach was mentioned on the internet as having beautiful white sands. Yet when I hiked to this beach....that didn't appear to be the case. Upon gazing among the surroundings, this place reminded me of just another beach...no sort of white sand appearance that I had read about...no extraordinary details that designated this spot worthwhile. St. John is known for it's incredibly colorful turquoise blue waters yet this Solomon Beach was just ordinary. My expectations were let down. Further along into exploring Virgin Islands Park...I had much, much better visits at the more well known areas like Hawksnest, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay and Maho Bay Beaches. These wondrous beaches exuded that blue/turquoise/translucent/green waters that make this island such a tourist attraction. Sorry to be the first one to review Solomon Beach and to be such a downer from my time here. But..... I would like to give some details about where Solomon Beach is located and how to arrive here for those interested in maybe not relying solely on my word and wanting to witness it for themselves. Solomon Beach sits right near the entrance of Cruz Bay. The only way to access this beach is to hike the LIND POINT TRAIL from the Virgin Islands Visitor Center. Otherwise, the beach was only accessible to private boats who would have to put their anchors in the water and then for people swim to the shore. Solomon Beach is very secluded and small. The distance from one end of the beach to the other was maybe a 2 - 3 minute walk. Back to getting here.....from the start of Lind Point Trail....the hike was very easy. It's 6/10's of a mile trek. There are clearly marked signs along the trail. Btw, this Solomon Beach was situated right next to Honeymoon Beach. Both beaches were exactly the same....they're like being brother and sister. Both hidden and remote and good for folks seeking privacy. Another issue which I couldn't understand...for those people who may be interested in hanging out here at Solomon Beach for a portion of their day....since you can only arrive here via the Lind Point Trail....the problem which I never figured out was....there was limited parking and spaces near the Visitor Center that only afforded 1 hour time limits. So theoretically speaking....just say I was satisfied with hanging out at this beach for a period of time....what would I would do with my rental car that I had brought over from St. Thomas? What I'm saying is...I guess...if you do visit Solomon Beach, don't take a car with you? Because...the other major beaches that I mentioned earlier featured practical parking lots and spaces to leave your car. That was not the case here. In the end...I spent 15 minutes walking around this Solomon Beach before returning to the Lind Point Trail. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the surroundings. Nothing stood out for me. Lol, well...maybe that's why I'm the first person to take the time to write a review about this beach.
