The management team at Fulton Hill have been responsive and pleasant to work with, and accommodated most of my requests extremely quickly, or found a reasonable solution in just the same amount of time. Jon and his team are great! My past experience with management companies made me slightly concerned to take on a new apartment with a property management office. I was worried they'd be overly aggressive on community rules (to the point of fines for first offenses), or incredibly lax with tenant complaints. Luckily, there were no offenses or anything much to complain about. Their maintenance of the building, and communication to tenants, were great. As long I kept them updated, they were accommodating as much as possible. When I changed my bank and had a snafu with the automatic bill payments for the rent check, they understood and didn't ask for a late fee. When it came time to move to another apartment, Fulton Hill was active in the move out process, accommodating with scheduling touring for potential new tenants that were interested in my unit, and handled the move-out process seamlessly. In summary, Fulton Hill was a great management company to rent with!

Fulton Hill has now ceased to maintain the property, and it has turned into a community hazard full of human waste, drug paraphernalia, and garbage. Fulton Hill needs to do their part and maintain a safe and clean location.

Roof top pool (that they close on us in the middle of summer) a grill (that hardly ever has propane) a common room with a pool table (with unusable pool sticks) a big flat screen tv (that turns off on its own) an indoor fireplace (that doesn't turn on) an outdoor fireplace (that sometimes turns on) piping in the garage that leaks onto your car and you have to scrap off with an ice scrapped because it hardens like cement. Keurig machines that don't have k-cups, no hot water my first 10 days here, lint is everywhere in the dryer so the solution was to pull it out onto my bathroom floor so the hoses didn't kink. Construction next door that caused me to get my tires repaired 3 times and no one will do anything about no matter how many emails I send. Give me my money back since you are not allowed to sub lease. Waste of money!

The…read moremaintenance staff were really quick with fixes, the apartment itself has exposed brick and wood rafters and a very loft-like feel with updated appliances. Internet was free, which was great, and the neighbors were eclectic and helpful. Great place for the price.

This place hasn't gotten a review in over 2 years so I thought I'd give you an update after…read moreresiding here for the past 18 months. Pets: There is still no pet rent, but definitely a pet fee. No weight limit. Not sure of breed restrictions. Almost all of your neighbors will have dogs. I love dogs but this also means lots of barking and irresponsible owners who leave poop around the front entrance and the parking lot and the surrounding train track area. There are poop bag stations but that's too much effort for some people. As I type this my neighbor's dog has been barking for the last hour. It's better than a couple days ago when 3 dogs were barking at the same time nonstop. Renovations: Very gritty looking. Floors are concrete with resin over them, there are still original cracks and paintbrush hairs and nails in it. I'm pretty sure the windows are old because of tax break reasons but they are drafty. They will let in huge spiders and the cold (hello, electricity bill). The brick is unpainted and unsealed so there are webs and dead critters in there. I asked them to clean it when I first moved in, but I was told they cannot because it crumbles when you touch it. Great. Also if you cook anything too steamy you will set off the smoke detector, which is conveniently located on the 11 foot high ceiling. Good luck silencing that bad boy. The plus of being in a warehouse is the amount of concrete and brick separating the units. Does wonders for soundproofing. Neighbors: Mostly young, awesome, no kids, some students. We have fun. Safety: I feel pretty safe but there have been drunk belligerent people on the property. Several cars in the parking lot were broken into. A neighbor's apartment was broken into. Someone died a few months ago (I believe it was alcohol poisoning). Parking: Plenty of free parking. No garage but no complaints. Location: I love the river! I love the Floodwall and the Slave trail! I don't love the trains that blast their horns at all times of day! What's the verdict? I think if this place didn't have such good management I'd have given 3 stars. There are many other apartments where management doesn't care. But if I need a new smoke detector battery or my hot water dies out I can expect an answer promptly. The office is right downstairs. If you like the warehouse look and the view of the river, I recommend this place. As for me, as soon as my lease is up I am moving to a safer apartment with new windows and a pool! Stay tuned.
