We had a water damage problem on our ceiling that we were struggling to fix ourselves. I called many other businesses and they all had a wait time of at least a month. Mr. Nice Guy came out the same day and ended up being able to fix it within an hour or so. We were able to paint the room a day or two later and be done with it by the weekend. Mr Nice Guy is MR WONDERFUL - We had an old musty mudroom with wires poking out and holes through out - he made it into a Beautiful laundry room - 2nd we had a small bathroom that was an eye sore - with cracked walls - he put up new beadboard and lights - I can't believe its the same room - If i knew how to put up pictures I would - his price was a blessing - you will not be disappointed - This Young man is awesome ... Mine was a very difficult job on an old tub in an old home, plus fixing leaky faucets, replacing the parts under an old sink, and drywall plugs from a previous repair. I had a lot to get done, and he did a fantastic job! Also, it took lots of trips to the hardware store to find the pieces for my old faucets and he did so without losing his great attitude. Jamar was great. I had Plumbing company come out for a leaky disposal 6 months ago, fixed a leak and suggested I eventually get a new disposal and gave me a quote for installation. Within a couple of months it started leaking again. I purchased a disposal, but wanted someone to install it. I found Jamar's info on next door. I gave him a call and he called back within the hour. He was very flexible on scheduling an appointment. He let me know when he was on his way, showed up on time, and respectful when he was at my house. SCAM ARTIST!!!! I had this gentlemen; Jahmar Simpson, who is the owner of this "construction" company come look at a job for me. He was extremely friendly and gave me a great price. I asked him if his business had the proper certifications, licensing and insurances. He ensured me he did. I went ahead and gave him 50% down to start fixing multiple issues in at my rental property. I went on DPOR website to look up his company and Mr. Simpson's licenses. Low and be hold he had none. I called him and he promised me did and there must be a mistake on DPOR's website. He said he will bring over a copy to prove he was not lying. A few days past and I never heard back from Mr. Simpson so I decide to call him. Unfortunately, is phone was disconnected and as I can see on Yelp he change his number. I am going to submit Mr. Simpson to DPOR so he can no longer con people into thinking he is a legitimate business and stealing people's money. It is unfortunate sites like Yelp do not require proper licensees to adverse in order to protect home owners. read more
