do not use this company as they are the biggest liars, cheaters and scam artists on planet earth. operations mgr. mike northington and the owner matt, lied to me about their qualifications regarding moving furniture, pool table and clothing. instead of wardrobe boxes, they put my clothes in garbage bags which when delivered , were completly ruined and wrinkled, along with damaged and destroyed furniture, lamps, jewelery etc. in addition, it took them 3 extra days to pack and load their ill-equipped trucks and trailers which almost nullified my close of escrow. they didn't finish till 4:30 a.m. the morning of escrow closing when they told me that they would be finished 2 days before. very unprofessional, inept, careless, wreckless and deceptive! i've moved 6 times in my life with national movers and they've been great. this was the first time using these local pudwhackers and it'll be my last. even though they promised to not add additional charges to my face(northington), he went behind my back and fraudulantly added 4-5 thousand extra dollars. i had to assist the crew all 4 days into all hours of the night and morning just to meet the escrow deadline. they overcharged me saying that i didn't supply them with enough packing material and boxes! imagine that? what was i paying them for?? if i could give them negative 10 stars i would! also, don't expect any customer service as they will just hang up on you, especially when there is a problem/damage or lost items that they will just deny. plus, when a move involves interstate travel, you must use those adhesive moving tags in order to track all boxes, furniture, wardrobe etc. for inventory control. they didn't and claimed that their system couldn't support that kind of system. talk about cheap and unprofessional! they were the slowest moving crew I've ever experienced that incensed my realtor so much, that she left a family gathering in order to light a fire under their butts in order to meet the escrow deadline. don't use these fools unless you want to receive damaged items and want to be grossly and fraudulently billed! like dru h, the business manager impersonated the owner on a call i placed to complain of all the damage and missing/stolen items before getting hung up on! i'll definitely inform the BBB and am going to sue!! read more

Amanda was awesome and very professional setting up the move. She asked questions to understand my move that other movers didn't even ask; this was the major factor in why I went with Rocket. When I had a questions or needed help with the digital paperwork Amanda called me right back on a Sunday. Move day Alex and Phillip showed up on time and were total professionals. It was very interesting to listen to them talk every piece through and how they would handle it all. They moved me from my third floor one bedroom apt and to my new first floor apt (CDA to PF) in a little over two hours. They were very careful and efficient throughout the entire process. I ignored the warnings because the person answering the phones is wonderful and awesome... until moving day.. that is when things go really wrong and then Amanda's reasonableness flies out the windows and you, the customer are left with a ginormous bill (greater than they estimate) and dissatisfaction. They charge you by the hour the. Take full advantage of that time... being totally inefficient, walking aimlessly with nothing in hand. Moving boxes 2/3 times each. It was a leadership problem from the top.. of which I shared with Amanda, who felt her company offered a 5 star service and offered... get this.. $100 off a $6400 move! Lmao used 4 movers and this by far is NOT a professional moving company. BEWARE! Oh btw .. scratched floor and tore vinyl in old house.. no compensation. BEWARE! Edit: I stand corrected. The business manager wrote back (as the owner) and said we received 5 star service.. therefore we did! Btw... as typical of this 5 star service .. today I found an open box of dog poop they moved over to the new house! This is 5 star Service! Also as typical with this company .. I'm her response she states $6007.00 is the final. The balance is $6007.00 after the deposit of $250.00 was given. We had a pleasant experience with our move. We used them to move furniture from our storage unit to our home. Martin, Keith and Dominic were courtesy and helpful. They did a walk through of the house asking what I wanted where. They were careful with my fragile boxes, helped unfold all my area rugs and even set up our bed frame which I did not expect. Trust me when I say I have moved a lot. Sometimes on my own but mostly with a local company. My experience with local movers is almost always a huge disappointment ( broken stuff, missing/stolen stuff, whiny crew members, lazy, slow, distracted, dishonest, etc. ). I read the agreement with the standard 0.60/lb replacement for damaged items clause. Here we go again I thought. I expected the worst, but I was SERIOUSLY IMPRESSED with the 2 that showed up to help me move. Ben and Casey were great. The started packing and loading from the moment they got there. Nothing was broken or damaged. Walls were left un-scuffed. They both were professional, personable, and knew what they were doing. The move took just as long as I planned. The truck was clean and organized, so my stuff was clean when it arrived. I couldn't be happier. I'm fortunate I was referred to them by another company that couldn't schedule me. I was also impressed that they were able to fit me in on 2 days' notice. Watch out for the math errors from the main office at the end. This is common practice among most companies and I have never had a math error in my favor. The checkout process was easy and over the phone. They take credit cards and don't hassle you for cash. read more

I bought a couch and loveseat at Costco but had no way of transporting it to my condo. I called Rocket pro and talked to Amanda who was very pleasant and professional. She advised me that they would meet me over at Costco in the evening, load up the furniture in their truck and take it to my place. Matt and Ben were on time and very professional. They got it into my condo, unwrapped it, helped me plug everything in and even cut up and disposed of the boxes for me. Very professional and friendly people. I hired Rocket Pro Movers to move my household goods from a shipping container into a storage unit. It was 90% packed boxes and 10% furniture so a pretty straight forward move. Scheduling was easy and the team of movers showed up a little early on the day of the move. They were friendly, worked hard and communicated well. So far, so good. The reason for my two star rating is because one of the movers tried lifting a piece of furniture by himself. He dropped it and broke a very expensive heirloom desk top. Nice people but next time I'll ask a couple buddies to help me move and I'll save a couple thousand dollars. And I'll know that my buddies won't break my furniture. read more

What can I say about Matt and Rocket Van Lines, but "exceptional!" Our dealings with Rocket started in mid-Aug 2020 after our family had driven from CA with a 26 ft. U-Haul carrying 1/2 our belongings (stay tuned to details on the other half.) We arrived in CdA on one of the hottest days for the area and soon realized we needed help THAT DAY. After calling numerous other companies...Matt sent over two of his guys that had just finished another job and helped us unload. They were great, and we appreciated the help. Fast forward to Labor weekend, where I was planning on renting a truck and doing the drive all over for the remainder of our belongings. Coming to my senses, I decided to call Matt and see if he could help. Given the tight rental truck availability, Matt chose to drive a truck from CdA, ID down to So Cal. It also happened to be a record-breaking hot day. They worked through the heat, loaded me up and headed back to CdA to unload. He gave me a fair price and courteous service at both load and unload locations. In my many years of using movers.......he is the best! read more

I had a very sentimental baby grand player piano I needed moved from the Tri-Cities, WA to Spirit Lake, ID. I called up Matt at Rocket Van Lines and they were able to travel 3+ hours each way to go get it for me the very next day! The whole process took a full day for them, and was definitely a difficult piece to move due to it's weight, size and extremely delicate finish. It was not an easy task, nor without hiccups, but Matt and his crew made it happen! I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, timeliness, and integrity of Matt and his company. read more
