I found out the delivery company didn't carry it up the stairs for me oops! I called around because I've never had to use a moving company before, I came across... Moovit or Loozit Moving!! I called told them, told Philip what my dilemma was and he said no problem. They would let me know when a time would be that they could make it out. It was short notice, I just looked down the three flights of stairs and thought oh my goodness what have I done? seem like it was planned out too well for me. It took Justin and Trent 35 minutes to bring my bed up and they even set it up for me. I truly would recommend this company again. They were great to work with!!! Justin and Trent they cleaned up after themselves with all my boxes, took them to the dumpster for me. I felt blessed that they were so kind. Thank you I definitely recommend them and they were affordable for what I needed.

Absolutely horrendous treatment by the team supervisor. One of his movers was allowed to use the…read morerestroom which resulted in his urine flooding all over my bathroom floor. When the supervisor heard that I was on the phone with his boss he came out hot headed and threatened to throw my property out in the street. When I pointed out he'd just be paying for it because it's insured in the contract I signed with them. He then stormed off and had to have his boss call him to tell him to get back inside to do his job. This kind of blatant disrespect towards a client is unacceptable by any means. Not only did I never raise my voice or swear at him, he actually interrupted a conversation I was already having with my assisted living caseworker to throw this tantrum. I explained that it's common courtesy to clean up any mess you make and that if I had caused the mess I'd go to a dollar store for a mop and clean my urine off his floor. Apparently that's worth quitting and voiding a contract over, and threatening the private property of a client. Great job Ken, keep making your company look good. Honestly, if this is how they move a disabled person assisted by SLP out of HUD housing it's astounding to me they have a positive rating. I imagine it's the labor put in. They took several larger pieces in one go which sped things up. -Disregard owner reply. Literally nobody offered to clean the mess. I was told that they don't carry shammies or towels or mops and Ken explicitly said they would not return to clean the mess, after the super on the phone said the same exact thing. Do not believe the owner replies for a moment, I am the one who had to go get a mop and return to the previous property to clean it. The only reason I did it, is because if I didn't my caseworker would have had to. It's one thing to make a mess and then threaten the client and throw an actual storm-off tantrum, it's another to go into yelp and try to lie about what happened. Even worse every party involved mutually agreed that if you got urine all over someone's floor, accident or not, it's literally just common courtesy to clean it up. They simply refused to do so and asked stupid questions like "what would you do?" Only to have no proper response to "I'd clean it".

Ryan (I believe he's the owner) called back and apologized for not calling me back on a holiday! Wow. We scheduled the unloading of our PODS for 5 days from then. The only snafu was that the paperwork he emailed me went to junk mail (not his fault) but it certainly stressed me out for a few days when I couldn't get ahold of him to check on status since winter is understandably not a busy time for a moving service! I guess my only suggestion here would be to ask for a cell # if you want to schedule during the slow months. Again, just a small suggestion - very very happy with Burnett! I was incredibly pleased with the two men who unloaded our PODS - professional and courteous. I will update their names when I find the scrap of paper I wrote their names on! I never want to move again. But if I have to, I will absolutely use Burnett's!!!
