The instruction here is something that I can speak to from experience, both at Rocket and at the previous gym where Brady worked.

My body needed a rest day for sure, these classes can be intense, but it makes you feel good. Most instructors are super fun, there were some I did not care for, I do not remember their names since I was just there for a short period of time. JD and Chris were very kool, oh and Sam. Who would have thought spin can be hard :))) I took their classes the most, not intentionally, and we had fun every time. It is very important while you are running out of breath :D I liked how my body was changing and how my stamina improved even in that one week. I am good at cardio and flexibility; I thought that weights are not my thing, but these awesome trainers proved me otherwise. F45 is not only a group class facility but a strong, caring community. And they make you feel like you are part of it very quickly. The instructors take classes with us too sometimes and they push you gently, I felt inspired not annoyed. My friends have an unlimited class and that is how you get your money worth, I checked Dallas, their promotion is $30 for 3 classes. Unfortunately, there is none close to me, and I know myself, if the gym is more than 10 min drive, I won't go. It is fine, cannot wait to come visit again and see those lovely peeps at F45.

The hospitality is amazing, just like it was the first time. I love that the owner remembered my name. From last year to this year, it's been really cool to see how much the gym has evolved. You can tell a lot of care and intention goes into the space and the community here. I will always make it a point to come work out here whenever I'm in Seattle. If you're visiting the area, definitely come check this gym out

This is the most unethical business I have ever encountered and I felt so extremely disrespected towards the end of my membership. I officially quit because of how the owner of this gym, Robel Woldu, yelled at me, and all I asked was to have a conversation. I was so mortified and humiliated as it was so loud that the entire class, his trainers and his client heard. It was extremely disrespectful that I left in tears. I called the next day and quit and I never received an apology. Looking back, I'm so thankful I quit when I did. I officially had my account and all of my personal data (at least what I had given permission for them to have) removed in July 2022. This gyms branding of being "inspired by the culture for the culture" takes a whole different level of unethics - I do not trust how they handle their customers' data and would advise being very cautious about providing any detailed personal information. I do not recommend this gym and will never return. I sincerely regret my time spent here.

The community here is also top notch. Everyone is very welcoming to people of all skill/experience levels, body types, and backgrounds. But while this is a great gym for folks that have never done crossfit before, the classes are still challenging enough for folks that are more experienced. P.S. Hot tip! Come to 7am class on Friday for coffee, donuts, and conversation with friends after class :)

Continued with a workout that both kicks my ass and simultaneously lets me feel satisfied, tailored to my skill level. When I show up regularly, I can always meet my fitness goals. The coaches never hang up on the minor details (eg. when I already have unlimited membership, I keep forgetting to sign up and they just always smile about it, and punch me into the system, this wasn't the case with every gym). When I'm late to the class and I can safely join the workout I've just alway welcomed to join in. This place makes the barrier to entry into your workout a breeze. I've tried CF gyms all across the US and EU and 90% of the time I had a positive experience in all of them, but Felix tops it all! And the best part whenever I come back to Felix, I can alway get my original rates back.

The fantastic and varied programming provided by Seth makes sure you're always challenged and pushed within your limits. The trainers, with their deep knowledge and passion to make all of us get the best from ourselves. They have so much experience and advice across a wide variety of movements, everything from Olympic lifting to gymnastics. The equipment, setup & environment is top notch. Getting access to the wider gym and its facilities while getting to do crossfit is a big upside and is very different from other gyms I've been to. To top it all of, unlike a lot of other crossfit gyms everyone is warm, fun and wants training to be a good time!! I'm so sad to have to say goodbye to these guys and the team at Virj. They are not pushing you to lift more than you are comfortable lifting, or more than you can lift with proper technique. They make sure that you're doing the workout safely so that you can come back tomorrow. The workouts are well thought-out and varied throughout the week. No muscle group gets ignored. That particular muscle group that you hate working on because it's your weakness? It gets taken care of. All workouts are presented in a tiered format so that members of all fitness levels and abilities have something to do. Exercises can be modified to help you improve. Struggling with pull-ups? They have bands to help you develop a base level of strength. The facilities are top-notch. Zum, the gym in which Virj is located, has a huge locker room with lots of showers. I've never had to wait to shower after class. And - everything is CLEAN. Lastly, the vibe of the class is great. This is a CrossFit gym full of folks who are interested in getting in shape and improving. It's not full of a bunch of grunting dudes trying to compete in the CrossFit games. I highly recommend it.

In addition to fairly new models of all the standard equipment, they also have a couple Peloton bikes - you can sign up for your own account but you don't have to pay anything extra to do classes on the bike, you just log in when you use it and log out when you're done. It's nice to be able to try it out or do rides occasionally without having to go all in on purchasing a bike! Management is easy to reach via email and have always been quick and responsive when I had questions. The building is easy to access with a code, and I didn't mind there not being any "onsite" staff. Parking on the street can be a little tricky since it's at a busy intersection, but I could usually find something a little further up the hill depending on time of day. So walking or public transit might be preferable for getting there. If you are going to be driving primarily, the street parking at the Beacon Hill location is easier in my opinion. Also note that while they do have 2 locations, a membership that gives you access to both gyms (dual membership) costs more than a membership to a single location. But switching our membership from one to the other was simple to do via email.
