Double load washer= $2.25 Triple load washer= $3.95 Giant load washer= $5.35 Dryer= $0.30 for 8 minutes Tons of machines. 50 washers & 50 dryers. Cable TV. Another plus. You don't know how many times I have been stuck watching Chinese soap operas at the laundromat because that's what the owners wanted to watch. Free WiFi for those of you who don't have unlimited data plans. Just ask for the password. Video games for kids to play. Vending machines are reasonably priced. There's a machine to get quarters for the video games next to the card machine. Has parking lot but it's very small. 5-6 cars max that's if people park properly. If you show up after 7 when there are no meters you can just park on the street. Save 10% off dry cleaning when you prepay. There's a rewards program so don't lose your card. I haven't quite figured out how to keep track of how many points you have though. Maybe when you refill it tells you on the screen? For some reason the door on the first machine I chose wouldn't close & I didn't know where the attendant was so I just moved my clothes to another machine. I saw a sign that said no refunds, so I didn't even bother trying to get my money back. When I found the attendant I told her that the door on machine 28 wasn't working. She said next time just called her over & she'll close it. I didn't lose my money, I got my $3.95 back to dry my clothes. It's a little bit more than my other laundromat, but the customer service here is way better, it's way cleaner, & it's open all the time so no more rushing to get in for last wash. Once a month, I'm in there to wash my stinky gym clothes!

The third time I needed dry cleaning done, I brought it here to Regency's. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Also, they got my clothes clean, which is why you bring your garments to a dry cleaner's, isn't it? After weeks of using Regency Cleaners, I still love them and stop by weekly to pick up and drop off. On one occasion, I had a particularly difficult dress to clean because of the stains I had gotten on it. Luckily, Regency Cleaners was able to get them out and give it back to me smelling fresh, even if that meant extra work and effort on their part, which surely didn't go unnoticed. They let me know that this particular dress was going to take an extra bit of time and offered to let me pick up the other articles of clothing while they worked on the dress. Overall, Regency Cleaners is what you want and hope for in a dry cleaners: they do a good job fast, and they care about the quality and cleanliness of your garments while simultaneously care about making their customers happy (:

Being so close to my new home, I was definitely keeping my fingers crossed for the best. It's very basic, but in a good way. There are washing machines in three sizes... (don't use the middle size, because you may as well use two of the small sizes and save 50¢). Dryers are 25¢ for 8 minutes, so it's fairly inexpensive to do a full load. The best part: the machines are on a card system, so you don't have to save of quarters just to do your weekly wash. The worst part: not a 24-hour laundromat, so make sure you don't wait until the last minute.

I was a loyal customer of San Toy for years and always thought they did an adequate enough job, although the store is dusty and my clothes would often return smelling musty as well. A couple weeks ago, I bought them a vintage Versace striped shirt that had some very minor ink bleeding in a few spots. I asked the man who generally works in the front if, in his professional opinion, this could be fixed and he said they would give it a try. When I came to pick it up a few days later, they had completely and utterly ruined the shirt. What had been some minor bleeding in a couple discrete spots was now all over the shirt rendering it, a completely irreplaceable item, totally unwearable. While he offered to "try again," I no longer trusted them and instead, found a higher end, designer-focussed dry cleaner to see if they could possibly fix what San Toy had done. As any good business should, they assessed the shirt and let me know that it was, unfortunately, unfixable and any further work would only make the bleeding worse. I then brought the shirt back to San Toy as I believed I should be compensated for them having ruined the item. I personally think they should have offered to pay for the entire cost of the shirt, but I would have accepted pretty much anything as a gesture of good will. I walked in to calmly speak about this with the man in the front and who, as I mentioned, I have brought clothes to for years. He immediately flew of the handle, yelling at me to bring it back to the store (I told him it was a vintage piece from The Real Real so there was no store), that there was no way he would pay me a dime, that I could pay HIM to try again (LOL!) and then ultimately started screaming repeatedly, "TAKE ME TO COURT I DON'T CARE!" I am flabbergasted not only by San Toy's hack dry cleaning but also by their lack of accountability and care for their customers. There's a zillion dry cleaners in Park Slope and I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. This place sucks.
