I scheduled a tow 5 hours in advance after my car broke down, and I even arranged an Uber to get to work, trusting they'd keep their word. After two exhausting 12-hour shifts at a hospital, I showed up at the scheduled time only to find that no one was coming. No one even bothered to notify me of the delay, leaving me stranded at my broken-down car with no support and an additional 2-hour wait. This lack of communication and disregard for my time is unprofessional and unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who values reliability or courtesy. They've completely wasted my time and shown zero respect for my situation. **Edit** I just want to add that according to the company, they have a very bad flow of communication towards their team. Their lack of proper communication and planning leads to unprofessional service. I am pleased that I now must wait an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours minimum for my service with only $25 off my $106 total fee, not including the $70 of Uber charges. It was that or Uber again home and try another time. I would not recommend this company to anyone nor my friends unless you want unprofessional service and lack of proper communication towards the dispatcher-drived and driver-manager. I should not have to message the driver and not hear anything back 5 mins before my scheduled tow. I still would like to personally apologize to the dispatcher who is very supportive and trying to understand my situation and help but in the end I will be a "Karen" right here and say this is still unprofessional especially with everything's that has come out of this situation. But having been a manager, I would have liked for them to call and apologize to me instead of sending his dispatcher on his poor management.

Ryan, the associate behind the desk was a class act. Nice greeting as I walked in. During three hour wait he ordered an Uber for a lady who didn't know how and was updating those in the waiting room on the status of their vehicle repairs. He even helped a customer charge his phone at the recharge station the store has. Keep up the great work Ryan! The shop hand tightens lugnuts to factory specs with a torque wrench. Ryan even showed me the tool. I watched part of my install and they appeared to handle the rims carefully. Keeping my 4 vs something higher for the reason noted before plus this time around I asked how much they would charge to flush/replace transmission fluid and was told they don't offer this service for cars with CVT transmissions. This eliminates a wide spectrum of vehicles that now use CVT transmissions.

I took my car in to the local Mavis…read moreTire store in New Tampa on Dona Michelle Rd. yesterday (7/13/26) because I noticed possible tread separation on the 2 front tires. I had purchased road hazard insurance on the tires when I bought in Ocala, and the tires were still under warranty. Rob at this Mavis store confirmed my suspicion about the tires and was most helpful. They didn't have the exact tire in house and I needed them replaced quickly because my son uses this car for work in Orlando. Rob gave me a good price on a similar tire and took a percentage off since some warranty still existed on the tires. I asked if a front end alignment would be needed. He said that he would run a check on it. When I received the call to pick up the car Rob informed me that the alignment wasn't needed and had the report (all in green) to prove it. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. I was impressed and pleased with the whole staff (Rob, Dante and Steve) for keeping me informed and doing "what they said they would do". I would highly recommend this Mavis Tire store location to anyone!
