Our family used another vet in town for over two decades, but they started to really decline. The vets wouldn't see patients anymore. Instead, unqualified "techs" pretending to be DVMs were doing all the exams, procedures, attempting to diagnose and treat "patients" - everything. We were paying for DVM care, but not getting it and our pets were painfully suffering the consequences. After many SERIOUS mistakes made by their "techs", that could have been disasterous-it became obvious that it was a matter of time before one of ours ended up seriously hurt, or WORSE. I was very worried about leaving that clinic after so many years of trusting them, but it was honestly the very BEST choice we could have made. Compassionate Care is absolutely awesome. They are responsive, attentive and the competency of the entire staff is clearly superior. One of our dogs had been suffering for years with ear infections and we had spent hundreds with the old vet clinic trying to get it cleared up - we were in every month with the same issue. Dr. K immediately identified the problem and for the first time in YEARS, that pooch is now happy, comfortable and has clean, HEALTHY ears - you can tell he has finally found relief. I just SOO wish I'd come here much, much sooner. Very happy with the CC team and we are all extremely appreciative of everything they do- and I would strongly recommend them.

They cut his whiskers, and when I gave him a bath today I noticed a huge bald spot by his tail. Now I'm not sure how many dogs they had before him because I dropped him off at 9am and got him back at 1pm. Why????? Who knows. Won't be taking him back. $83 for y'all to cut a bald spot on my baby. I did exactly that, confirmed with them multiple times, and even told them to call me if they weren't able to do it. They reassured me it would be no issue. Fast forward to pick-up--I was absolutely horrified. The haircut was nothing like what I asked for. It looked like the groomer completely ignored the reference photo, and worst of all, they didn't even bother calling me to discuss alternatives before butchering my dog's fur! I've posted before-and-after photos, including the style I requested so you can see for yourself how much of a disaster this was. The amount of hair they chopped off is shocking. The haircut I initially requested which Aloha agreed to. I won't be returning for grooming services, and I do not recommend Aloha Pet Resort & Spa if you care about how your pet is groomed! P.S. The photos are not displayed in the proper order. While the staff was polite, the overall experience was disappointing. I paid for a full grooming package. After picking him up, it was clear that several of those services were not completed and his shedding was noticeably worse than before the appointment, which was the main reason I booked the service. At pickup, the interaction felt somewhat rushed and tense. I was told that my dog had been difficult and was stressing other dogs, which made the experience uncomfortable, especially since this was not communicated during the appointment itself. I understand that grooming environments can be challenging, but clearer communication and a more professional, reassuring approach would have gone a long way. I understand that younger dogs can be nervous during their first groom, and I absolutely support prioritizing a dog's safety and comfort. However, I was not informed at pickup that multiple services had been skipped, nor was any partial refund offered afterward, despite acknowledging that not everything was completed. Communication and transparency go a long way, especially with dog owners. I would recommend that future clients ask very clear questions ahead of time about what will happen if they decide a dog cannot tolerate parts of the grooming process. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others.
