The seams are tight, the transitions between rooms are seamless, and the finish is smooth and consistent throughout. You can see immediately that this is a crew that takes real pride in their work. The floors didn't just get installed; they were placed with precision. What impressed me just as much was how they treated my home. Found 1st choice roofing and hired to fix sections of my roof less than a year ago (June 2024). In…read moreaddition to the repair cost, they charged $700 for it being a 3 story home and another $600 for the pitch angle. At the time when the repair was being done, the speed at which they were working was a little concerning. This was due to the fact that I was sold on replacing all vents on the roof as well but witness the technicians leave without doing so. They came back soon after me contacting the project manager that I only only saw them go up with a bundle of shingles before and proceeded to complete the vent replacements. Once they completed the repairs, I contacted the project manager again and asked for drone footage of the repairs so I could compare them to the initial inspection photos. He then got offensive stating that his technicians were risking their lives in order to repair my roof and kept saying they stand by their workmanship and provide a 1 year warranty. I started to suspect the project manager did not fully explain to the technicians on what to repair and only repaired the obvious damage and not the improperly installed shingles the project manager sold me on to repair. Fast forward to today (April 2025), sections of my roof have shingles blowing off again which are photographed in the initial inspection last year. I contacted 1st choice to start a warranty claim and was soon told they can warranty shingles they replaced but the ones that were missed a few feet away is considered new damage and had to be treated at such. I told them ok, please get me an estimate on the repair and we can proceed with the warrantied areas. After receiving the estimate, they again charged the 3 story fee and pitch angle fee even though they will be going up to repair the warrantied areas anyways because it is "to be treated as new damage" while also stating on the estimate that they no longer can warranty any repairs because of the build material. I would not have found out my roof was damaged if I didn't switch insurance company and they send an inspector out to look at my roof. Missed agreed upon repairs and damaged repairs they are hesitant to fix. If they are currently working on your home, make sure you have footage of the completed agreed repairs after. If you're considering, make sure you have everything documented to cover yourself cause they are for sure covering themselves.

We had some surprise challenges along the way, Our home was built in the 1970s with outdated galvanized plumbing, we were unaware that the pipes were corroding from the inside out, once discovered we realized that we were now looking at two projects; re-plumbing and a Kitchen Remodel! Thus far staff have been very accommodating and patient, they have worked with us to get the plumbing issues corrected and while it's not in-expensive I'm glad they caught the issues during the remodel and were upfront with us about it, after speaking with the plumber we chose to have our home re-plumbed and replace all the galvanized pipes with PEX. This process is involved and requires significant portions of the drywall throughout our home to be re-done. This is going to delay Ceramic City's plan to install new tile, cabinets and counters but they are working with us and keeping in contact weekly to check in. We appreciate the customer service especially with the added stress the plumbing has caused.
