Matt showed up later that day to provide us with a quote, which was extremely reasonable. Matt and his crew came back before the weekend and were able to get everything looking great. Glad to see a local, family owned business doing so well

She gave me 2 plastic zip lock bags, marking them up with the name of my stone choices, then directed me to drive around back were I could get some samples. Thank you very much. They have samples of what they sell all around the showroom. I especially liked their stone facade samples, as we're considering a fireplace project. Excellent customer service and great array of products. Worth a visit.

I hired Eco Smart in Spring 2025. Business communication, scheduling pricing, all good. The work…read morewas primarily, strip front lawn of terrible, weed friendly soil, level the lawn elevation, truck in 2 dumps of "good, clean, ph neutral weed free soil and hydro seed for a great lawn by July. Only thing I had to do was water adequately. The spring and early summer of 2025 was exceptionally wet. 13 straight weekends of rain. Grass started popping up in 12-14 days. I was watering based on soil temps as we got into June. But at about 5-6 weeks in around June 21, the entire lawn, except for 10-15% that is shaded, was 90% crabgrass w/ small patches of brown skimpy grass blades. Lawn was major disaster. Company blamed it on me not watering. Wrong, I had watered, I don't abandon my investments. This crabgrass was very heavy, knarly, thick leaves and roots, nothing like it in my area / neighborhood. Obvious to me it was embedded in the new soil they had dump trucked in. Or in the hydroseed... Who knows. 1st they promised to strip it all and start fresh, which I thought generous, but in the end, they aerated through the lawn of crabgrass and seeded and aerated. It did work, and by mid- late October, I had a nice lawn w/ small remnant of crabgrass. They said they'd come back in Spring 2026 and lay down a crabgrass and weed pre-emergent. They didn't. I did it myself. I can understand a big mistake (bad source for the new soil they laid down) but don't blame the client for something obvious in sourcing the product.

As a committed native plant gardener, I have struggled to find landscapers who understood the…read moreimportance of biodiversity and a healthy ecosystem. Many are not informed or able to recognize invasive species or non-natives vs. native species of plants. This is not the case with Eco-Smart Landscaping. They are very well educated on organic and native plants as well as recognizing invasives. I was thrilled to find them and have them do work on my property! They went above and beyond in all areas, and performed the job exactly as I had requested. The workers were all friendly and extremely helpful and performed an amazing job right on schedule. as a matter of fact, due to an injury, I had needed to go to the hospital, and Jake from Eco-Smart drove me there. This in itself was impressive, but along with that they had to complete all the work in my absence, so I was not around to approve the final product. In spite of that they did the job to perfection! I couldn't be happier to recommend Eco-Smart Landscaping. In fact, I plan on telling everyone I know! If you are also committed to restoring a native environment and bringing back pollinators, or otherwise have a desire to do your part to heal the planet, Eco-smart, is the only way to go!

Does not stand by their guarantee!…read more All my plants that were already in my yard are gorgeous, healthy, and thriving. The only plants that are dying are the ones that came from Scenic nursery. I also addressed my concerns with Glenn (the owner) within the one-year guarantee period (I have email records of this), and I discussed my concerns directly with him when they were here to mulch. At this point, I will take this as a loss, and you will lose a customer. Edited to say, you should see the emails that I received because he was unhappy that I left a negative review! The owner is unhinged! Regarding those emails..... Friday night I emailed Mr. Caron: "Hi Glenn, Just an FYI. - 4 azaleas & 2 rhododendrons completely dead. Only plants we are having issues with." He responded that he believes a dog is urinating on the plants. As I subsequently told him, my dogs are on an electric fence and UNABLE to go in the gardens. The plants are also in different parts of the garden. What is most concerning is how the owner has handled a customer disagreeing with him. Rather than keeping this about the plants and his guarantee, he began personally attacking my character because I challenged his explanation and left an honest review. These are emails I've received from him: "You feel better now with your lies of omission on the ratings sites? Im not worried we have many other counter reviews and i reply to all none 5 star reviews. Let the people decide! You will eventually pay for your lawlessness and defamation. I had a hunch you were like this" And: "Good bye Enough, Live with your consequences, I am ! I stick with what I have stated and NO it was not all your dogs it was YOU too with your neglect !I also could see very well how you are not all there from when I showed up to see that you destroyed most of the plants that were in your yard without consulting any experts to try and save replace or transplant any of them. You had very expensive plants there and you had no idea what to do with them . Your improper process and plans regarding your own landscape is very evident yet you seem to be the expert...ENOUGH , i have no further need to communicate with a character like yours. ! I DID try and make things right evidenced by what we DID do ! You just dont care about that but only how you feel and what you think happened which is far from the truth . AND AGAIN I SAW your dog do it and i have a witness besides! So deny it all you want as all you have are your own illusions and your unrighteous character ! Your vindictiveness shows by your defamation post on YELP( which is a sucky site anyway) and google of which i have replied for those who will review it. MY work speaks for itself and i challenge you to find anyone better. GO ahead and see. PAY thru the nose too! I KNOW MY BUSINESS inside and out and this industry to the tune of 40 + years. You ARE messing with an expert and telling me im wrong ! Suppose you tell your doctor or your accountant the same ! It doesn't matter you made your bed now Lay in it . It's MOOT to continue discuss as YOUR ACTIONS have ruined this relationship as i am sure you have done to others" This is how the owner speaks to a customer over a disagreement about 6 dead plants and a guarantee. Instead of handling my concern professionally, he chose to attack me personally and make judgments about my character. Yikes! As for "neglect": again, most of our plants came from Scenic Nursery and are thriving. We also transplanted lilies & hostas that were here when we bought the house, and they're thriving. Our soaker hose runs 2 hours a day, plus we physically water. No neglect here! I stand by my honest review of my experience. The owner's own emails speak for themselves. I would also encourage anyone considering Scenic Nursery to read the other reviews from dissatisfied customers -- and, just as importantly, read Glenn's responses to those reviews. How a business owner responds when a customer is unhappy says a lot. After receiving the emails above and seeing how other negative reviews have been handled, I think customers can draw their own conclusions about the professionalism and integrity being demonstrated here.
