This guy "Joe" was a talker and that's about the extent of his knowledge base in the trades. Took a $37,200.00 check and performed around $7,000. In actual work. Never got a nickel back. We trusted this guy. The 3 month experience was a nightmare. He can talk, he has an endless amount of excuses, no action Joe is a very accurate nickname for him. Conduct business with them AT-YOUR-OWN-RISK. Be prepared to be disappointed; no matter what he "says". A true Shit-Show is the best description I can offer up. The first time they showed up, Joes' two trucks had new tires & wheels on them...I wonder who paid for them! BTW, we asked them for an itemized bill of all materials (which wasn't much) and labor, (again, not much done) with no itemized sheet. Nothing provided but excuses and as of the 3 weeks there has been no contact from either one of them. If anyone asks him about this review - I guarantee he will throw 5 reasons at you explaining it all away and that he'll have to go to the Attorney Generals office! That's what he told me when I questioned him about a previous review against him. Again, he is a talker.

The last communication from the company was on 12/16/19. The job was started on 11/4/19 which included a partial delivery of cabinets and installation of the cabinets that arrived in addition to the installation of lights and a template created for the counters. Several cabinets were missing. A total of 7 days of work and no one from the company ever returned to complete the work. Currently we have no kitchen sink, counter tops and missing several lower and upper cabinets. Numerous phone calls text messages, and emails were met with false commitments or ignored. The company currently owes a little over $10,000 in reimbursement. As the saying goes, they will pee on your leg and tell you it's raining. Note that I offered Ben (the owner) the chance to read this review before I posted it. He refused, stating, "I think I know where we went wrong"- so none of the below will be a shock. In no particular order: Integrity has incredibly poor communication. From the planning/design phase, to ordering, to installation, it was hard to get any clear answers, especially regarding payment and pricing. The invoices make no sense. During the months the job went on, Ben ignored almost every phone call, voicemail, and text. He is usually MIA. We had to learn the hard way that they can't work unsupervised. Babysitting is required. Multiple tasks were done wrong the first AND second time. Lots of sloppy workmanship, doing things the easy way, and tons of sloppy painting. (Regarding painting: at a minimum, they don't use painters' tape, and trust me, they're not all skilled enough to paint without it.) The plumbing work they did in our second floor bathrooms caused multiple leaks in the first floor ceiling. They did repair the ceiling. We got new hardwood floors before Integrity started. They were aware of this. They failed to cover or protect our new floors at all. They constantly left the work areas dirty. One day there was broken glass left all over the bathroom floor- the only bathroom we had to shower in at the time- which we noticed when it was in our feet! They don't show up to work. If they said they'd be here on a given day, there was a 50/50 chance they'd actually come. Sometimes there'd be days of silence after they failed to show up, then sudden same-day notice that they were coming. Meanwhile, any time we were asked to get something (the bathroom fixtures, tiles, more paint...) we'd have it there ASAP, usually the next day, but it always sat around. It's all hurry up and wait with this company. Your time is NOT valuable. Ultimately, our project was finished FIVE MONTHS behind schedule. If they weren't careless and actually showed up to work, it would've been more like a few weeks behind schedule. No one, including Ben, genuinely takes accountability for any of this. From start to finish, our remodel was a nightmare. Integrity has no integrity. Stay away.

She came up with a beautiful setup. She had already added all the things I wanted like a spice rack, tray separator and trash/recycle pull out cabinet. We especially loved the contractor she used. He was respectful, thorough and prompt. I was the one dealing with him on alot of the aspects and as a woman found him easy to work with. He always listened and thought about what I was asking him. I deferred to his judgment alot. Our renovation is now complete and we love it. Anita really did think of everything. We loved working with her. She really cares that we like what she created. And we do. Our pantry cabinets are to die for. We're so happy!!!

When we explained to Anita that we were not looking to put a BMW engine into a VW (our house is a modest Cape), she helped us find the perfect balance between quality and price. She also made some really sound recommendations in terms of the kitchen layout, which is now in its final phases of completion. The cabinets and countertops (quartz) arrived on time, and Anita personally took inventory to ensure that nothing was missing or damaged. The company that she contracted with to do the countertops was top notch -- everyone we dealt with was professional and prompt and it was obvious that they took great pride in their work. We couldn't be happier with our experience, and would recommend The Cabinet Works to anyone on the New Hampshire Seacoast - especially if you are committed to shopping local as we are.
