This is the WORST Company I have EVER worked with. I called them this winter in a pretty desperate…read moresituation. They agreed to become my plow service this winter because I had just gotten divorced and my ex usually snowplowed. They were very nice and took my credit card eagerly. I have never seen such shitty work in my life. I moved from the home, back with my parents where I was safe and the SEVEN different times I returned to the home I was NEVER able to get up to my home!! The driveway has been a sheet of ice EVERY TIME and I have gotten stuck and had to be towed twice!! I just received a phone call from my father who is now stuck in the driveway AGAIN with the locksmith and the tow truck is now stuck!!! They are all stranded waiting for a another tow truck!!! The response from Family Lawn Care: "We just plow...we aren't responsible for ice, sand or salt." However, they didn't mind charging my credit card every single time they "plowed and salted" my driveway. In fact, the last time this happened I spoke with the owner and he said that he would be right over with sand and salt to help. He never showed up. He also told me that he was waiting for the weather to warm up so he could get rid of the ice. On a unusually warm 45 degree day, I immediately called him and asked if he would work on the driveway that day and his response "well now the ice is too heavy because it has turned into slush." If I could give less than one star I would!!! Awful people!! DO NOT USE THEM

Originally we had told them to create the snow bank 15 feet from the driveway, but they only started it 10-12 feet, tops, and now we're having issues with the bank encroaching on our driveway space. Oh, but don't worry, they assured us they would happily move the bank, for $75/hr. They charge by snow accumulation from the storm (how they're measuring that I'm not sure of) up to 12" is $75, 13-24" is $150, etc. However, routinely after storms there would still be a good 4-8 inches of snow in the driveway. If you're going to charge by the inch, then you had better clear every inch. Maybe they had planned to clear it later, but that doesn't help when people need to get to work. I've actually had to use a vaction day once, because there was about a foot of snow in the driveway when I woke up and i couldnt get to work. On top of that, after the latest storm they did not even make a first pass on half of our driveway. I had thought maybe they were just extremely busy due to the volume of snow we were getting, but it's clear now that they just don't care and are only doing the bare minimum they can to send us a bill. Maybe they do an O.K. job at landscaping, I can't speak for that, but if you need snow plowed, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
