First off, as a resident of Westgate for over 20 years, I completely agree with the association and NOT with Nancy R. For the first time in a long time, we have a responsive Landscaping Vendor. The previous vendor made us wait over 2 days to get all of our spots cleared and property cleared up during snowstorms and were completed NON-responsive. Always leaving Icy Roads, Icy walkways more times than I can remember...and I won't go into detail about the spring and summer months (Ie No Mulch!) B&C Landscaping has a system that lets us know when they will be here to clear our spots. The plow driver - Rich is always pleasant and always stops to chat with me. I have had many conversations with him about things that are new to us. Their shovelers are amazing and are here clearing our walkways and putting ice melt down every single storm, sometimes twice a storm and at all hours of the day. I've seen them here at 2am when I went to bed and then again when getting up for work at 6am. They now clear our roads in far less time using the large loader truck, and are here the very next day after storms are done. Saints was NOT. It seems to me that people just want to complain rather then seeing the AMAZING difference this company brings versus the former. I am sure there are always areas of improvement for anyone or any company. So far, this vendor is doing great. In addition, they had to coordinate the walkway with some precast steps I was having delivered and installed. I was worried the walkway they built wouldn't line up correctly with the steps when the other company came to install the steps. My worry was unfounded. The walkway lined up beautifully with the steps. Within a 1/16th of an inch. I was amazed. I have had a mixed experience with Mountaintop Landscape. The landscape design and initial…read moreplantings were done well (but certainly not cheap). However, the company failed to finish the job (grass seeding) for over a month after their initial work despite repeated requests to get the job done. This was on top of many timing issues leading up to the initial plantings (email scheduling never accurate and often ignored). Then after 3 months, a few of the planted shrubs died. The owner, Matt Bailey, before the initial work began, guaranteed me work, and indicated that to the extent shrubs died, he would re-plant at no labor cost, and would only charge the pro-rated cost of plants. Well, I have now been communicating with Matt Bailey for two months, and despite being given numerous assurances that the shrubs would be replaced (and that he had the replacement shrubs in his possession), follow up has been non-existent, and he has refused to make good on his guarantee. His lack of communication, and frankly, honesty, has been disappointing and unacceptable.

If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would. The professionalism, the pricing, the overall outcome of the project...you will not get a better result. I can't thank Jason and his team enough for all the work they did, it looks AMAZING!  The guys were so hard working and professional and we were so impressed with how fast they pulled it all together...and the attention to detail during clean up was ridiculous.  Victor was so thorough raking out the lawn, I think he raked stones out that were there since before we moved in.   If you have an irrigation system already in place, no problem. Jason's brother Dan, irrigation specialist, was also on site to handle any unforeseen issues with root entanglement. He had us all sorted out, added a few new sprinkler heads and even programmed the entire system for us, with no interruption in the schedule! Jason's knowledge and passion for his field was evident right from the consult which is why we chose to go with Green World in the first place and the team that followed did not disappoint.  We will be using Green World for ALL our up coming projects!

Things usually change when there's a new owner so don't be afraid to give them a shot and if they do a good job, write a better review than I did. Okay, back to my review from 2007... --------------------- This review is for Green World's snow plowing services only. Maybe they do better at landscaping, I don't know. But when it comes to snow plowing, I think this is the first 1-star review I've done. Here comes the rant: If you like the idea of coming home from a long weekend to discover that you can't get into your driveway, and that once you get in, your driveway which is normally wide enough for two SUVs or three small cars is now wide enough for only one car, you might like how they plow. If you think that the best place to pile snow is on someone's front steps, then you'd fit right in and maybe they'll hire you. And if you don't like to get mail, you'll love these guys. They have a hard time with the concept of plowing out a mailbox. Or maybe they just didn't try. In any case, we're not getting our mail. The thing is, we've had good plow guys before. We know what they can do if they care. Green World doesn't do that. Okay, if you're a city person then you might not understand. In beautiful New Hampshire, you have to plow the snow away from your mailbox if you want to get mail. The post office doesn't exactly use jeeps, and they have to be able to reach the mailbox from their truck. Now that the snow has melted and frozen in place, we're not getting mail until the spring because that snow that should have been moved out of the way has now turned to ice. Back to the rant. Have any trouble, just call Green World in Hampstead, NH on their toll free number or the local one. Pick the one that works best for you because you're going to a recording. No one is there and no one calls you back. So that's the deal. Snow plowing doesn't seem to be what they're good at. I can't tell you about their other "horticultural services", but you can draw your own conclusions based on the luck we had with plowing. Oh, if they ever call me or try to fix things up, I'll add that to the review. It's the incompetence followed by the silence that really pissed me off. Update 12/29: The owner called and apologized. He says that they're not like that and he's upset with someone who works for him. Okay. If the way I was treated was really unusual, I'm sure there will be other glowing reviews (and not from 1-review, 5-star fake yelpers, either.)
