We absolutely love the finished product and their process was great as well. At the end of this project we immediately signed up for a phase two. If I had to identify cons I would say that their communication between signing the contract and the start of the project was minimal and that the subcontractor they selected for resurfacing my driveway was not good as they left a finished product that I'm not totally satisfied with. Overall, Bayberry is super professional and they are true artisans. I have recommended them to several friends and would recommend them to anyone doing landscaping or landscape design.

I called and requested to speak to a supervisor at Bayberry, who answered the phone was Justin White, the lead for the company. He admitted to me that they were aware of the crash, but didn't call insurance until after I reported it. All while having an awful attitude. David Warnock, is the account supervisor, he was the one who hit me, ran up on my person to yell, and argued with state police after they told him yield signs apply to him. For a company that boasts they hire the best and give them autonomy, I think they may want to rephrase to, If we mess up we will be mad at you, and if you complain we will argue with you at the highest levels of the company. If this is how they act in the open, imagine what happens behind the scenes.

HORRIBLE WORK - FABRICATED INVOICING - INCOMPETENT OWNER/CEO (G. C.)…read more DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They recently changed their name from "Make A Difference Landscaping" to "The Difference Landscapes;" new name, same owner. I unfortunately hired MADL and it was an unprofessional disaster from the start. They have ZERO project management and oversight, ZERO accountability, and ZERO integrity! Not to mention the "work" they do is sub-par at best. 1. The employees threw their lunch and snack trash into my yard and tried to bury it as they worked. (My home office overlooks the work site and I saw and took pictures of everything). 2. They dumped scrap rebar, angle iron, random plastic, wires, broken glass and ceramic tile ... and my personal favorite, a child's shoe into my yard when they delivered "screened loam." 3. I had to explain to their workers the correct way to lay stone and allow them to use my tools because they didn't bring their own. 4. I had to re-do several of their contracted tasks myself because it was not done correctly ... but the CEO tried to charge me for work that I did, despite knowing they did it wrong. 5. One task was estimated to take 3-days at a cost of $4,100. The invoice showed the work was done in two-days, but the CEO still tried to charge me for three days of work, even when I pointed out the discrepancy to him. 6. On the same task, I was one of the people working because they were SO BEHIND schedule, yet the CEO still tried to charge me for work that I did. 7. I was able to accurately document and prove that the CEO overcharged me $3,598.99 for work that I personally did and show that his record keeping and accounting was wrong. 8. I was able to document and prove that the CEO attempted to charge me $4500 for non-contracted work, while lying to the Better Business Bureau about what transpired. I have over 35 counts (physical and administrative) of documented errors made by this company, to include every single aspect of the final invoice being wrong. The CEO has no integrity or morals, he only cares about money in his pocket - he cannot be trusted! If you get STUCK with these clowns, take before-during-after pictures of the project, annotate what days people show up, how long they are there and what they are working on. It will be worth your effort, because at the end of the job, they will have no idea what happened when, but will invoice you to get the money they think they deserve. The CEO freely admitted to me that they did not keep accurate records, yet he didn't think twice about fabricating an invoice. Thankfully I had all of the documentation I am recommending to you, and was able to prove everything he claimed as falsified. I had to pay two additional landscaping companies over $10,000 to either fix or completely re-do what Make A Difference Landscaping screwed up. They know how to "Make a Difference," but definitely not in a positive way! I'm shocked they are still in business...

I mean, of all the companies I've seen that definitely aren't doing well, these gentlemen all really care about the property and take pride in their work. It's extremely clear. I was outside one day while they came, and they asked if they could help mow my clippings. I mean, you just cannot get better than these guys!! Most landscapers are rough-hewn and on some things... These guys are great, have great and professional demeanors, and are amazing!!! 100% go with them.

After a significant dwindling of fish due to leaks and issues we took action. We couldn't bare to remove it, and knew fixing the leaks would be only temporary and decided to make the significant investment in a full rebuild. We researched many providers and finally found American Waterscapes and couldn't be happier. Notably, there prices were exceptionally transparent on their website and while koi ponds are a major investment, their all in prices seemed far more reasonable than some of their competitors. Their portfolio of work was most aligned with our aesthetic as well. They also had space to fit us quickly in their schedule. What sealed the deal was however, the owner April's knowledge and passion for her craft and answering our endless questions. Her partner and team were all exceptional and professional as well. What most surprised us was how quick it all took. Aside from the initial excavation, April personally spearheaded it all, placing every rock on the spot to best compliment our space. While she warned lawns can of course get in a bit of tatters, we saw very few side affects. The grass that had compressed quickly grew right back up. She was amazing at finding the most beautiful fish based on requests and spend as much time as possible outside watching them and seeing their personalities quickly emerge. We had a few follow up questions she was quick to respond to. The season has escaped us so will hold off until Spring to take many more photos as the plants grow, but in the meantime, wanted to help others considering a Koi Pond, to certainly add American Waterscapes to their shortlist. You won't regret it.
