Was visiting sask and stayed next to this Rock Creek bar and grill so decided to try it out. Firstly, our server was awesome, didn't catch his name but he did a great job, super friendly and prompt service. To start, we got the pulled pork perogies and nachos. These perogies were so good, perfectly crispy and loaded with pulled pork, tons of flavour. The nachos were good, but maybe a tiny bit overcooked and I wish a bit more cheese, but still good! For our mains we got the special which was the prime rib, and also the rack of ribs which came with coleslaw and Mac and cheese. The prime rib was huge and super tender. The ribs fell right off the bone, but I think I was so full already that I couldn't get a true experience with the ribs. The mac and cheese was amazing, creamy and cheesy, perfect Mac and cheese. Seven of us came for an after golf supper. Started with some loaded nacho6 to share. Standard but a nice touch with edible side bowls of salsa and sour cream. The Thai Coconut Curry Soup was very tasty and I enjoyed it. I ordered a 9oz New York,medium rare, with peppercorn sauce. I was fairly disappointed actually. The steak was more medium and had a fair bit of gristle. The server was excellent though. Good work on that. I may not be back but if I do, I will not be having the steak. read more

This evening I ordered 2 meals from this restaurant the cost me over $90. Neither meal was acceptable. The 12 ounce prime roast meal was quite small and had a glob of fat in the middle. The ribs had so much sauce on them that that is all you tasted. The asiago fries were slightly underdone with the asiago cheese slopped on top. The banana dessert used an old banana and tasted like smoke. I will never go here again nor would I recommend it to any of my friends. read more

I have been to this location before, so I wasn't worried about returning. I was mistaken. I ordered the Buddha Rice Bowl. My choice was chicken. First of all it was hard to find the chicken, the carrots were hard, not el dente , they were warmed, the sauce was over powering and I paid 18.95. Horrible flavor and pricey. My friend ordered the Wood Grilled Caesar salad, the heads of roman looked like parts were spoiled. She barely ate one head. Went to Rock creek for supper with my friend Randy. We were seated promptly and were served by a great waitress Susan. My friend Randy raved about the rib special and asked Susan if we could get the special. She politely told us that the rib special was on Wednesday's not Tuesday's ,(Thanks Randy :( ...She told us the Tuesday special was chicken fingers and bottomless fries. We were visiting our daughter at Uni and decided to place an order for a pitmaster share platter along with a couple other menu items. The order was pretty much ready when we arrived but when we got back to our hotel and opened everything up. WOW, what a huge disappointment, I wish I would have taken photos. :( I could not believe the horrible quality of food, especially for the price. I know the platter is for 2, but the ribs, you literally only get 2 bones, just 2. There is no way on earth what they served was brisket, it was a soggy, floppy and flavorless slice of what looked like roast beef. The perogies and garlic toast came in a container together with about 4 slices of slightly melted cheese that looked like it sat overnight on the dinner table and then packaged up and served to us the next day! Came here for an early dinner, around 4pm on Sunday and the place was empty as expected. The service was very good and the food was quite good too. Our waitress suggested the Cesar as a beverage option and she was right on! However she had a hard time understanding my first officer's question about lager/pilsner selection, he had to go to the bar to see for himself. I am a foodie and love to indulge on good food and drink, spending good money where it is due. I have had quite a few good experiences with the quality of the food at Rock Creek. However I just purchased 50 plus dollars worth of food for pickup at the brand new Stonebridge location in Saskatoon and was very displeased with the quality control of the dishes that get released from the kitchen. I ordered two entrees and a appy. One was the "Smothered seafood linguine" supposedly comes with salmon, scallops, and prawns for $18.95. It was sure smothered but not with seafood as I only counted two med size prawns, no scallops, and 1 piece of salmon the size of a quarter. I called to complain and asked them to send me a new dish that had seafood actually in it as stated that would make me feel better about spending almost $20 for it. To which I was told we do not deliver but if you drive back (10 min away for me) that they would be happy to have a new dish waiting for me. I explained that I did not feel like driving back to which she replied she would have a $10 gift card waiting for me next time I decided to come in. I had to insist at the very least that they cover the cost of my $20 plate of noodles. C'mon. Really? Have someone check the orders coming out of the kitchen before you send them to your customers. You're prices are not the cheapest so I expect the service and quality control to be on par. This was only the second time I've ordered from here and I'm not happy with this new location, and will not be returning to spend my money there either. Do yourself a favour and make the drive to the Blairmore location instead. I've been there a handful of times and had nothing but good experiences there. P.S. The first experience I had at this new Stonebridge location was equally as disappointing as we were there on the night where wings were on special at a discounted price. We ordered two plates and when they came the wings were tiny and there were only 7 per order. I asked the waitress if this was a pound of wings and is this usually what a order looked like? She asked the cook who told her that no a usual order is larger and is a true pound worth, but for wing night they cut back on the order size only supplying seven wings per plate? Discounted price for a discounted amount of food. Poor business practices lead to poor customer turn out! If I'm wanting to eat anywhere in Stonebridge from now on it'll be at Browns or the Great Canadian Brew House. read more

The food here was rather disappointing. I ordered a fish tacos and the avocado was so bad that I couldn't eat any of it...and I love avocados. The other meals also fit into the category of just "ok." I had a terrible meal here on Wed. April 20th. I wrote a review, they told me the manager would call me, didn't happen, and review and response disappeared from their website. My meal - The stuffed potato was flat like a potato skin with rubbery melted cheese on top and all this milky mush on the inside, the asparagus and carrots had oil on them and sitting on the plate, the chicken was overdone, and the prawns were cold!!
