Our experiences working with Keith Rosato owner of Finger Lakes Handyman…read more We had a bath remodel that needed to be done on a tight time schedule. Keith was able to install all new fixtures, drywall and handle other plumbing issues that we had and finish by our deadline. He was professional in every aspect. I live out of state and he remained in constant contact, phoning and emailing photos at every step of the remodel. The new bath was beautiful when finished. Family in state followed up with a physical inspection of the completed project. We are currently having him reroof both of our cottages and also remove rotten cedar shake siding. He is installing new cedar shakes, cleaning and staining all siding on both cottages plus painting the windows and shutters. Again staying in contact with myself or other family members as work progresses or issues arise. These cottages are over 80 years old so there of course have been surprises along the way. I feel confident recommending Keith for any home repairs that you may need. We haven't run across any repair that he hasn't been able to fix - yet. We look forward to trying to stump him with something broken that he can't repair in the future!

While the experience was good at first, Alex failed to ultimately complete the fix we expected and…read morehe said he could perform. Supposedly there was an issue obtaining the necessary part to complete the job, however this was not well communicated and weeks passed by with poor communication and no fix in spite of us indicating the time-sensitive nature we were under. At first we were told the part would take about a week to arrive, which turned into what to us seemed like a part never being ordered or even found. Alex then stopped responding to all attempts for communication including emails, text messages, and phone calls. If this was not a job he could undertake we would have rather known that on the front end versus be strung along and ultimately not get the fix that was needed, which now has put us in a further bind. Here we sit over 4 weeks later. We would urge others to use extreme caution if you choose to use his services, in the end you'll be out $300 or more with not much to show for it.
