I wasn't expecting much when I saw that they were opening a pop-up store in Miami for a limited time... But I wasn't expecting rudeness.
The store looked like they dug up old warehouse pieces from the 60's & 70's. The only thing missing was green shag carpeting. It was interesting walking around and as I was leaving...I spotted the gorgeous table I saw in NY. It's everything I have been looking for. When i saw the price I started to laugh...it was almost $2000 more than the exact one I saw in NY. I thought maybe it was a different marble or maybe it was different in some way. The photos I had on my phone showed the same name and style number with the price. I asked the salesman, why this outlet version was more expensive than the brand new one. That was when his personality came through and he told me I was wrong. I showed him the photos with the price and he got a little snippy. Not wanting to engage, I left, thinking to myself, OMG...it's just a table. Retail 101...A used piece in a pop up outlet should be less than an original that would be made to order and shipped from the factory. read more
