Stumbled upon this place before going to eat nearby. What a hidden gem! I never knew this existed and was so impressed. Everyone who worked there was very nice and willing to help at all times. The plants and garden looked so beautiful. I seriously wanted to buy everything before leaving. You can tell they take care of their plants and give them all the love they need before you take one with you. I really loved the ambiance of just walking through this place. Even if you don't want to shop, it's so nice to walk though and just explore the different plants and flowers. There is also a few places to grab a bite within the property. I can't wait to come back and get some new plant babies!
What an adorable green oasis in the urban jungle. As you stand among the greenery you can see the tall buildings in the downtown. Pay street parking is available alongside the garden center. Hey this is Miami, finding free parking is like spotting a unicorn. Midtown is owned by Ninfa Diaz who grew up in Latin America surrounded by plants and animals. When Midtown started out there were no tall buildings. The business started out as an outpost for their Homestead landscaping businesses. It was a way to get the plants closer to the people in the north who needed them. In 2015 Ninfa took back over the business from the people she was letting run it. It was then that she started to create a backyard feel to the center for the people who were living in the towers. Seating and event areas were added and she invited in food trucks. Her newest businesses venture is the MiMo Garden Center in the Miami Modern section of town. Besides a variety of flowering, landscaping, and succulent plants and pots, there are also several other businesses operating here. They include Zoom Bloomz, a florist, Tacomiendo serving tacos, and Devia Juice Bar serving smoothies, juices, and bowls. What a sweet spot to stop in and grab a bite or sip and enjoy the greenery around you.
I got two new plants today @midtowngardencenter a cute little #bonsai and a #yucaplant Check then out, the y are amazing!! the staff is very nice and helpful. Is a pleasure to shop there.
A variety of plants, planters, and a neat meditating hub; bring your own beverage and enjoy what nature has to offer
What a cute plant nursery right in the middle of Miami! Alex who helped us was so knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer any of our questions! There are several little food areas here too, so go pick out a few plants and have lunch! There's a taco stand, pizza, burger, and a juice bar! There's a sign that says you can bring your own wine and walk around. We didn't try this but love the idea! Definitely will be going back for more plants and lunch!
I came across the midtown garden center while I was in my car. I immediately parked and went in ! It's a beautiful garden center with all of your flower and plant needs. I got a beautiful bouquet from zooms flowers for 5 dollars ! It was STUNNING. This place has succulents to orchids to anything you would want plant wise. I even saw a taco stand and a fruit stand. I am definitely coming back here. Loved the vibe and everybody was so nice ! :) Highly recommend. I want to come back for a painting event.
This place is really nice and everything is easy to find. The staff is pretty helpful as well. I've bought a couple indoor plants here that are really beautiful. My only concern is that two of the plants I bought and had them repot for me with soil, the soil might've been infested with gnats. I'm currently killing them with a peroxide mix, but it does make it frustrating that I have to go through the process. I'd definitely still come here, but I wouldn't have anyone else pot my plants again.
Beautiful oasis in the city. It's romantic organic peaceful beautiful just such a happy spot. There's Tacomieno and Nomade food truck but you have to search, it's totally embedded into the greens and garden. Street parking around just a little difficult but worth a visit.
Very peaceful but pricey plants. There's a monthly plant painting event like painting with a twist. You can bring your own bottles but food can only come from one of the vendors there. The taco truck/ stand is soooo good. There's a corn item that's seasoned, roasted and dusted with just the right amount of cheese. Tacos are open you get them traditional but the pork is full of flavor and will have you asking for more. There is a second truck but the Mexican inspired truck will keep your attention. The area is out in the open so if you plan on going when it's raining take an umbrella cause more of it is not covered. I liked the plant selection nothing super exotic but the service and peace you have when there is great.
We were looking for some plants for our new apartment, and this was a wonderful place! It's so cool that this is a green space literally in the middle of the city. You can buy indoor plants or outdoor, big or small. They'll pot it for you if you'd like. They have a nice pot selection, but they're definitely a little pricey. We went for it just so they'd pot it for us for the convenience. There is always someone to answer questions, and if you're hungry or need a thirst quencher, there is food and a juice bar on site! Be aware you MAY get wet from the sprinklers
I was strolling around in wynwood when I came across this cute garden. Huge selection of plants, indoor and outdoor. Great prices, I personally love succulents and purchased five of them! Three for my friends and they even changed the pot for me and added some soil for a small fee. My friends loved their gifts. The employees were very knowledgeable on their plants and how to care for them. They even have a juicing spot there as well. The setup is unique and have some greats selections on pots too! Highly recommend.
This is a cute little boutique garden, very local feel. The have a really good selection of plants both indoor and outdoor. Everything is displayed so even the most beginner of gardeners can get an idea of what to look for. The staff is also very friendly and helpful
This is a really great place if you're looking for specific plants that are maybe dog friendly or need a certain sun requirement indoor outdoor etc. They can give you great guidance. The prices are a little bit more than Home Depot or Lowe's but they have a better selection and someone to help answer a lot of questions. Alex was full of information.

I can't believe I've never reviewed this place. I used to live only a few blocks away and have moved to the beach since, but I still make the drive here because they are the best garden center in the area. The selection for indoor and outdoor plants is excellent. I've bought a number of plans for myself over the years, but have also bought some nice gifts for people. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They can always find you exactly what you're looking for and do a great job at potting for you. I am one of those stereotypical people who does an amazing job at killing plants, but everything that they have recommended for me has been spot on over the years. read more

What a great find, an oasis. I really like this place. A garden in the middle of the city. A hidden gem. One of many interesting things wynwood has. It's like a big square and inside there are smaller squares or sections that people use to sell things like flowers, food and smoothies. There is beautiful plants nursery and with large pots in the middle of the square making this place visually appealing. A joy to have lunch here. read more

I found my new little place to go whenever I need a pick me up. Everyone was very friendly, the plants were fresh and nicely arranged. I can't wait to go back during the day! They have a juice bar truck and a taco food truck; I got there a little late so the juice bar was closed but the tacos really hit the spot. The waitress was very nice and attentive, it was a wonderful experience. read more

This gentleman right here wow what can I say? He is the nicest & greatest employee at Midtown Garden center. He recalls my name every time. He goes above & beyond for me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Amazing place for satisfying a plant addiction or just starting one. This nursery has a wide variety of herbs, ornamentals, seeds and more. I would like to commend all the staff here for making finding the right plant easy and fun. Always recommend for a good reliable plant spot as well as a great place to grab a snack. (There is almost always a selection of food trucks outside.) Very unique and wonderful plant lovers paradise. read more

My one and only plant I ever got from this place ended up this way. Had to toss it. All my other plants from other places are perfect and thriving. It's a shame since this place is only a couple blocks away from me. Messaged them on Instagram asking what this is- and they just read my message and didn't respond. Reading the reviews I see another person had the same issue as me googled it- and it's SCALE. read more

the people who work here are SO NICE. they don't have that wide of a selection but what they do have is very high quality. they also will pot your plants for you if you need. it is definitely a little too pricey for me. read more
Lovely experience! We came here as a group of 4 for a paint and plant event organized by this business and had so much fun! They give you pots, and painting supplies and if you require the associates help you with painting ideas and strategies as well, so it's okay if you're new to this. This event was BYOB but there's a nice taco track nearby if you get hungry! Once you are done painting, you can choose from a variety of plants that the associates help you plant and also let you know how to take care of. All in all I totally recommend this place if you're looking for something different and fun to do with your friends or SO . It's truly relaxing! The ambience is also super cute! In case you were just looking to buy plants and interesting planters you would definitely find it here as well! read more

Great place for plants and super helpful staff who know whats what. Not pushy, but approachable, so tip them! The place is great but only got 4 stars because parking is a nightmare and its kinda pricey for plants. We got a creeping fig for $6 (which is $7 at Publix), a mini Orchid for $8 (which are $7 at Trader Joe's), and a mangrove plant for privacy. The juice stand smelled citrusy and amazing, so thats worth a visit and also worth seeing what all the hype is about. Come here prepared to spend money and learn about plants, and also ready to move em around yourself. Certainly a hot spot worth visiting read more

I've come here a couple times and I love the atmosphere, and the prices aren't so bad. I love supporting smaller businesses rather than going to Walmart and spend a couple extra bucks of what it could've been at a bigger company. The few times I've come in here I have bought a plant and gotten it re potted at the store, which is really convenient! you can either purchase a pot at the store or bring your own. for a really small plant (begonia) they charge $5 to re pot it and for a small/medium (Swiss cheese plant) it's $8. The only thing why I give it 4 stars would be the lack of employees working. Both times I've came into the shop, it has been hard to find someone to ring me out, I've spent more time looking for an employee than shopping.. read more
