First time at Plasencia after receiving a recommendation, and I was impressed with their diverse selection and decent prices. They had a large selection of orchids, fountains, planters, beautiful trees, flowers, herbs and shrubs. We wound up purchasing lemongrass and thyme plants, each for $4. I only wish they would have offered more vegetable plants. Can't wait to come back for some orchids and landscaping plants!

This place is gorgeous! It's so visually pleasing to see all this wonderful colors and greens all over. They have it so well organized and the prices are not that bad. The service was phenomenal I guy just approaches right away and I told him I'm not need to move soon so he gave me the card and offer their services. You can park for free there are plenty of spaces available for you and I think they open every day.

I came from the beach to bring my son to camp in Kendall one week this summer and I am so glad I did as I stumbled upon this little slice of heaven. Amazing selection, great prices, great customer service. Additionally, I was happy some employees spoke English and my Spanish is just ok. I actually left another nursery because I couldn't communicate, so this really elevated my happiness here. HUGE place. Can wander and lose time. I got plants, wind chimes, pots, succulents. I could have kept going. My trunk is small. Definitely worth a trip here!

Beautiful orchids, awesome prices. I bought an amazing huge white orchid for a great price! Can't wait to give it as a gift to an orchid lover. Nice selection of orchids in lots of different varieties, colors and sizes. The other shade plants I checked out were very nicely priced. Nice place at visit and friendly staff.

The nursery is beautiful, with a wide variety of Talavera pots, fountains, statutes, and beautiful plants. Everything is thoughtfully organized, making it easy to browse and find exactly what you are looking for. One of our favorite parts of the visit was their variety of Talavera pots. They add such a beautiful artistic touch and really complement any yard perfectly. What really made my visit stand out, though, was Yollie's help. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to answer all our questions, offered help, and made sure we left feeling confident about our purchase. Her friendly and approachable attitude made the whole experience enjoyable. They have everything from flowered last two herbs too gorgeous orchids. The staff is very attentive and will take you around in their cart if you're looking for anything specific. Their prices are fair and their mulch is very well priced. This last time we went, I noticed that they have brought in an enormous selection of beautiful decorative pots. I did not check the prices for these pots but will be asking the next time that I visit. If you are looking for a neighborhood garden store that is well stocked, well priced and has good customer service I highly recommend this one. I will be visiting again soon. My husband and I always try to support local businesses versus the big chain stores when it comes to buying plants, mulch, decorative pots etc.

We walked in prepared to spend thousands of dollars on a selection of exclusive pots and other gardening plants. We intended to enhance our garden significantly, and we were genuinely excited about our purchases. However, when we approached the owner to request a discount, we received an unfriendly response. Without any attempt at negotiation, he simply stated, "No," and then suggested that we should put the entire amount on our credit card and not worry about it. This lack of willingness to engage in a conversation was quite disheartening. I explained to him that we were just shy of being able to afford the full order, as we had a specific number of pots in mind. Instead of trying to accommodate our needs or explore alternative options, he launched into a lengthy monologue about the costs he incurs for his items. It felt more like a one-sided lecture than a discussion meant to foster a positive customer experience. In the end, we left the nursery without making any purchases, which was extremely disappointing. The owner lost a potential sale of thousands of dollars that day because he couldn't understand customer service or engage meaningfully with clients. This incident is not an isolated case. On several previous visits, I've gone to the nursery with my mother to ask questions or seek assistance, only to be ignored while the owner remained occupied on the phone. It's frustrating to feel overlooked and unimportant when you've taken the time to visit a business. We often found ourselves walking out without the help we needed, and it left us feeling undervalued as customers. Overall, this nursery seems to operate more like a shell company than a customer-focused business. I can't understand why any establishment would refuse to engage with potential customers, especially when there is clearly an opportunity to make a sale. Given our experiences, I strongly advise against visiting this nursery. The owner exhibits a concerning lack of professionalism, and you might find yourself feeling taken advantage of and mistreated, just as we did.

After countless mornings waking up in a bedroom lacking greenery, I googled best plant shops in Miami. Many of the newer more popular stores came up but then so did Galloway Farm Nursery. For as long as I can remember, this nursery has been around and therefore I stuck with the tried and true. Perhaps it was the sense of familiarity that ultimately drew me to Galloway--a welcoming, unstuffy, old faithful that made me feel confident to plant shop despite my shortcomings with plants themselves. But when I got there, I quickly realized that the comfort I felt walking in was solidified by the assistance I received. Eavesdropping on another customer and team member, I could hear that the gentleman assisting was well versed in all things plants. I mean, one would hope that is the case, but you never know these days. If you're like me, sometimes you have trouble asking for help. But I wanted a big plant, damnit! And there was no way I would be able to physically lift the one I wanted on my own. After mustering up the courage to ask for help, I got so much more than that. I got information, I got recommendations, I got educated, and I even got help re-potting my plant. I'm not sure this is a regular service offered, however because it was very slow when I went the person was glad to help me. All of that being said, I left with the perfect low-light plants for my home for an unbeatable price. They even helped me put it in my truck. The value here is totally worth it. And then I realized....how the hell am I going to get these inside my house alone? LOL! Practical things to note: ample parking available, deliciously cool orchid room for those unbearably hot days, lots of cute cats hanging around. Galloway Farm Nursery is a must-try!
