This nursery has been incredibly disappointing, as we've had a series of negative experiences there. Our most recent visit was particularly frustrating. We walked in prepared to spend thousands of dollars on a selection of exclusive pots and other gardening plants. We intended to enhance our garden significantly, and we were genuinely excited about our purchases. However, when we approached the owner to request a discount, we received an unfriendly response. Without any attempt at negotiation, he simply stated, "No," and then suggested that we should put the entire amount on our credit card and not worry about it. This lack of willingness to engage in a conversation was quite disheartening. I explained to him that we were just shy of being able to afford the full order, as we had a specific number of pots in mind. Instead of trying to accommodate our needs or explore alternative options, he launched into a lengthy monologue about the costs he incurs for his items. It felt more like a one-sided lecture than a discussion meant to foster a positive customer experience. In the end, we left the nursery without making any purchases, which was extremely disappointing. The owner lost a potential sale of thousands of dollars that day because he couldn't understand customer service or engage meaningfully with clients. This incident is not an isolated case. On several previous visits, I've gone to the nursery with my mother to ask questions or seek assistance, only to be ignored while the owner remained occupied on the phone. It's frustrating to feel overlooked and unimportant when you've taken the time to visit a business. We often found ourselves walking out without the help we needed, and it left us feeling undervalued as customers. Overall, this nursery seems to operate more like a shell company than a customer-focused business. I can't understand why any establishment would refuse to engage with potential customers, especially when there is clearly an opportunity to make a sale. Given our experiences, I strongly advise against visiting this nursery. The owner exhibits a concerning lack of professionalism, and you might find yourself feeling taken advantage of and mistreated, just as we did. read more

Bad experience. Bad customer service. The plant I bought was sick. A week after I bought it and put it in the living room, dark spots started appearing, and the owner told me to cut off all the leaves except for two. Seriously? Terrible service, and downright disrespectful. I went back twice, and he didn't offer an alternative or even apologize. Don't buy your plants here. read more

Margarita's Gardens - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Miami, Florida

My husband and I have been coming here for years. This is a very beautiful neighborhood garden store. We enjoy going to Margarita's and browsing around their large selection of plants. They have everything from flowered last two herbs too gorgeous orchids. The staff is very attentive and will take you around in their cart if you're looking for anything specific. Their prices are fair and their mulch is very well priced. This last time we went, I noticed that they have brought in an enormous selection of beautiful decorative pots. I did not check the prices for these pots but will be asking the next time that I visit. If you are looking for a neighborhood garden store that is well stocked, well priced and has good customer service I highly recommend this one. I will be visiting again soon. My husband and I always try to support local businesses versus the big chain stores when it comes to buying plants, mulch, decorative pots etc. read more

Margarita's Garden is a solid nursery, Good prices, great selection, and wonderful service. I don't know what more you would want. Their selection of planters is a bonus. read more

We absolutely love this nursery! They have a great variety of plants and flowers, and all for an amazing price. The people that work here are extremely kind and always willing to help you. We've bought four orchids from here, and they've prepped them for us before leaving by making the leaves shiny and adding extra moss. They are dog friendly and take credit cards. Their location is pretty big, and walking inside you feel like you're in a botanic garden. Will definitely return to get more plants from here. read more

I was recommended by my next door neighbor for their podocarpus hedge. Theirs is growing beautifully and the price was competitive. I've bought 60 so far and there are much better than the ones a gardener brought me. I also bought a tall snake plant for $15 that I've seen elsewhere smaller and for much more. They also have a large variety of succulents but some are overpriced. That's the reason I didn't give them 5 stars. I can only recommend the podocarpus and snake plants. They have beautiful pottery but I find them expensive and the prices are not on display. Most of the staff don't know the prices of the pottery and have to ask the manager. I don't like shopping when prices are not posted. They would sell more if they would post prices. I always ask for Gabriel to help me in his golf cart. He's very knowledgeable and always tries to find the best plants for me. read more

Buyer beware. Stay aware from this place!!! The owner Juan Carlos is the most rude and horrible customer service. Purchase a large transactions of plants 2 gardenias died and brought them back. He was incredibly rude aggressive and insulting. He refused acknowledge that he sold us a sick plant and scream and threw the dead plants on the floor. He also had two riffles with him. Stay aware mentally unstable and potentially dangerous. Plenty of other great nursery around with normal customer service. read more

So excited to see this place and unfortunately a complete letdown. NO PRICES in their pots. When I asked a worker he responded. "We give the prices just ask what you want". Who wants to walk around and ask someone twenty times for prices. Big letdown. Went and bought at the nursery down the road read more

As soon as you walk in you are greeted and helped by someone. They help you find what you need and follow you but without being pushy-Just helpful. Then once you have had your time to look around, they will put your purchase in a golf cart and take it to your car. They have a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants and also planters of many colors and sizes. All the plants are really well taken care of as well. Of course, bring repellent because the mosquitos will eat you alive. Great prices, comparing to other nurseries. Overall, worth the drive if you are in downtown area. read more

Margaritas is great! My coworker recommended this place and I was excited to give it a try. It's wonderful! They have a great selection of plants, trees, indoor, outdoor, herbs, succulents, etc. at a great price! They are constantly getting new varieties of plants and they are beautiful and vibrant. You can walk around the grounds and there are employees available to answer questions, very helpful but they are not overbearing. The guys drive around in golf carts and when you're ready they will drive you around to pickup all the plants you like, check out, and load your car. Unless you are only getting a small plant or two, you will likely have to do this bc they don't have carts that you can load yourself. So bring some cash for a tip-these guys work hard in the heat and are very helpful! There is little shade and no indoor/air conditioned area-so dress appropriately and bring water with you to stay hydrated. The only contention I have is that the plants are not labeled and typically don't have prices displayed, which can be a bit annoying. But this tiny inconvenience definitely doesn't outweigh all the great things about this place. There are multiple nurseries in the area but margaritas has always been the best in both selection and price! read more

The best nursery in the area!! They are very nice and patient with you on the phone (my first good experience in Miami on this subject) and they are attentive personally. It's organized with a huge selection of subtle colors pots and planters (not so tacky as in other places..). And beautiful plants...I just love it!! read more

Margarita's Gardens - I've had this tree and pot for almost 2 years and it's beautiful and easy to take care of :) - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Miami, Florida

The men that work here really work hard. The hubby and I were greeted and picked up in a golf cart as soon as we walked in. They helped us select what plants would look great together for our new landscaping project. This guy definitely knew what he was talking about... I mean I asked him the name of almost every plant I saw and he always had more than an answer for me! They also have soil and mulch and anything you will ever need for your garden. They also packed all the plants into our car for us. I am very happy with Margarita's Gardens and I will return soon! read more

Amazing service. Took me around their whole nursery in the comfort of a gulf cart. Beautiful high quality selection of planters of all sizes and quality of plants and organization. Plants are grouped accordingly. read more

I just bought my first house, and its garden plots were Weedville Central. I stopped at Margarita's Gardens the first time with a friend, just intending to browse, but the staff were so helpful and friendly that I quickly became excited to rejuvenate my garden plots. Every time I came by, the staff were great: I could describe the space I was working on, a bit of what I hoped to find in a plant, and I've loved all the suggestions I've been offered. Their selection of planters is also outstanding--such beautiful teals and cobalts that I wish I had space for more! read more

This place feels like home. We've been coming to Margaritas for a couple of years and these folks always make you feel welcome. They have a great selection and everything I've purchased here has made it after I've brought it home. That means a lot coming from someone with a grey thumb!!! Highly recommend! read more
