Despite all of the revenue money that this place is raking in with the unnecessary up charges, they are unable to afford toilet paper holders in the women's bathroom. Toilet paper, when the rolls are not on the floor, are on the back of the toilets and are covered in dust and pubic hair. I had to grab napkins from the bar. read more

Attended a School of House show here and it was a great venue. It has high ceilings, which provided great acoustics. The interior has an industrial feel with brick walls. There is a large bar area . There were some high top tables, not many and it can be a bit tight when there is a larger crowd. They a line up of tribute bands scheduled. A really nice venue. Read less read more

Rochaus has been on my radar for a while so I was excited that our grandkids were performing with their School Of Rock Glenbrook band here. The accoustics were excellent and the location along the Fox River is great with plenty of free parking nearby. A limited number of high top tables are available on the main level and in the balcony as well. There is a full bar. Mostly tribute bands are on their schedule and ticket prices are very reasonable. I am born and raised in Dundee (now live in Chicago) and when I say I was absolutely blown away by RocHaus, I mean it. I've seen this building go through renovations throughout the years and honestly never really thought anything would come of it. But last Thursday, I had the opportunity to see a comedy show here (phenomenal comedians, by the way!) and I enjoyed every minute of it. When you walk in, you'll find a bar to your left and a huge open space in front of you to find a seat or place to stand for the evening. In addition, there is an upstairs viewing area that has couches, additional tables, etc. I got almost a Nashville vibe and absolutely loved it! I highly recommend you check out RocHaus if you are looking for a date night or a fun night out alone. I will be back soon and can't wait! read more

We went there last night to see Petty Kings. It was a great band. The atmosphere was very cool. We had a great time .

The venue itself is pretty neat and features a stage for live music - it has a good set up and sound system. However the price of the drinks here is a real bummer and it's not advertised. We were surprised by a $120 bill for one night, and we only ordered domestic beers and seltzers. We probably will not return as there are plenty of affordable options nearby. read more

The ambiance was terrific. My wife and I attended the 80's theme night. It was awesome.

I love that fact that this is rock club. I know that seems so simple, but rock clubs are a dying breed. Rockhaus had me from the moment I walked in, or maybe even the moment I drove by. Great looking exterior, like an old theatre, but it had clearly been updated. They had everything going for it. Full bar with easy access points for a good view. Brick walls, a large speaker array, and a nice lighting system. Sadly, once the band started it did not sound good. It was not the band.** I'm sorry to say either they haven't 'figured out' the room or the house engineer needed to learn some things. I was standing right in front of the bass player and still couldn't hear him. I knew all the songs and still couldn't hardly understand the lead singer. Such a shame, I drove over an hour to get to this place, and I was excited to see this band. Also, I wish they had served food, but there are a couple good looking places nearby. ** with a very quick response to my review. Somebody from Rockhaus clearified my review. After an excruciatingly long remodel complete with ample online "tease", I was really looking forward to being *wow'd* by the Rochaus experience. Sadly, that was not to be. The whole experience was entirely underwhelming. Expecting an awesome new venue based on the lengthy amount of time it took to complete the buildout, it is essentially a stripped down version of the old Clearwater and not much more. We purchased main floor tickets to see Robby Krieger. In the ticket description, we were informed of limited main floor seating on a first come, first served basis. On the night of the show, we showed up very early hoping to snag a table to enjoy the show. Unfortunately, even though we were among the first through the front door, the six or so main floor tables were all marked off as RESERVED. For whom, I have no idea, but that immediately struck me as deceptive advertising. Right off the bat, we felt mislead and ripped off. We were stuck standing along an uncomfortable railing in front of the bar that didn't even have a spot to set a drink down on. The bar offerings are weak at best. A few drafts, a few rail type basic mixed drinks, there might have been a wine or two and that was it. I had an overpriced draft beer and called it good. The show was good, but I couldn't wait to get out of there. Sad, because I live only a few blocks away and love live entertainment. Seen many great shows at the Clearwater over the years, but I will happily travel out of the area for a better experience elsewhere. For me, Rochaus was a Flophaus. read more

What an awesome venue! I visited RocHaus for the first time this weekend to see Myles Kennedy on his Year of the Tiger tour. (w/ Thomas Wynn & The Believers) Rock venues are most definitely a dying breed, so I was thrilled to see this venue existed and was so close to home! RocHaus is located in a little downtown area, it was really easy to find, and free parking was also easy to get. Inside the club there is a nice bar with reasonable prices, a balcony level and the main floor. It is a smaller venue, but there is plenty of room to move around. The staff that I interacted with were all really friendly, so that was a plus! The venue and the bathrooms were well maintained and clean, unlike some places I've been to. The sound quality is pretty awesome. I'd say the only drawback is the stage is really high up. So if you're standing in the front row, your neck is going to hurt the next morning! Haha! Was there for the first time this past Saturday to see Red. Place looks awesome, sound was great and there was a lot of place to move around. Parking was free and easy, the band killed it and the drive was much quicker than we thought it would be. Only con is the merch area is in a different place so in order to get there you have to exit the venue and go through a different door. read more

So being a long time concert fan I found this great new venue in my own back yard and wow is all I can say ! Great mix of music , newer local acts alongside big national acts . The managment and employees are super helpful and friendly along with a nice bar and great bartenders ! Ticket prices are very reasonable as are the drinks ! RocHaus is going to be West Dundee's new and long term gem! I had the privilege of visiting for their soft opening and it exceeded all of my expectations. Stepping into the venue, i was blown away by how incredible it is. You can tell the owners put tons of thought and planning into the experience and it really shows. The venue layout is perfect and provided for a great experience. The bar was fully stocked and had a great variety of liquor and beer available. The prices were reasonable and the service can't be beat. The staff was very attentive and we didn't have any issues getting a drink. They even recommended some beers i had not tried before! I felt like they really wanted to make sure my experience was something to remember. I was fortunate enough to hang out in the balcony area. The view and sound upstairs was also incredible and the staff will take your order and being you drinks so you do not have to miss any of the show. My favorite part was the sound. It was incredible! If you find yourself on the fence about enjoying a show here, my advice is to give it a try. You won't be disappointed by any means. I'll definitely be a regular here. read more

I came to RocHaus for a Led Zeppelin cover band concert (Cashmere). While at the venue and enjoying my time, I approached the bar. While there, there were two women and a man who were berating me for being gay. The situation escalated when I started defending myself. The owner/mgr Kevin is a complete jerk. This past weekend I bought tickets on line to a show. It didn't say what time the band came on, so I thought I would call to find out. It stated on the website that it opened @ 5:00 pm. No one answers the phone, you just get an answering machine. I got to the venue @ 7:00 pm, to find out the band didn't come on until 9:15 pm. We left & came back @ 9:15 pm. My boyfriend asked to speak to the mgr to let him know that it would be nice to have someone answering the phone or @ least have the time the main band comes on on the answering machine. Kevin was rude/said that they didn't have time to answer the phone as they had a show to set up...really? then why post a phone number??? Was very condescending & would not shake my boyfriends hand when he offered it @ the end. He was very arrogant & rude. Left without seeing the band & will never be back! read more

This place is laid out great! It is historic and still looks gorgeous. My only complaint is that whatever they stock for well rum should constitute as a violation of the Geneva Conventions. Definitely spend the extra $1 for a popular brand. Also, tonight's sound tech for the live band is...middling. Poor mixing and balancing issues. Love this place though and would come back. read more

Four of us went here for the first time to see The Doors Chicago. We had a great time! The sound was great and the building is the right size so there is always a good spot to see the show. It is mostly standing but there is a bar, some tables and a couple couches upstairs. Restaurants and parking were all walking distance which was great! As a frequent concert goer, I've been waiiiiting for this place to open. If you like live music, local band support as well national acts, this Haus is the place to catch them. That stage. The sound!! Perfection exudes.... They get a wide variety of music and the management is very open to suggestions too. The place itself is cozy and full of character... But it's the mortar; Kevin, his staff and the good vibes within. It's a happy, friendly, kick-ass place that's clean and has a nice selection of local craft beers as well as the usual. Went to my first show at RocHaus - Fight the Fury (Check them out!!). I was really excited to see this band. Several things impressed me about this venue. First, the staff was really cool. Very friendly and helpful. There is also no bad view to see a band. I like the stage being a bit higher up. For an intimate venue, the sound/acoustics, were awesome! Since this show, I have seen several others - most recently - City Rock Fest tour..This show had 6 bands - The Protest, Random Hero, Righteous Vendetta, Seventh Day Slumber, Zahna, and Amongst the Giants. These are some pretty amazing bands, big name bands. RocHaus has a big venue feel to it. I have tickets for more shows coming up. Seriously, if you have not been there, you need to go!!!! read more
