It's about $7 for a basic mixer. Whiskey and whatever. Food menu is pretty meaty so we had limited choices. Thankfully they actually have something. It's about $11 for the Beyond Burger. This was okay but could have had more choices of toppings. For sure we could watch a game here. It's pretty lame looking from the outside so ignore the looks. This is located on Prospect at Wilmington.

No one was cleaning the tables after customers left. I watched about 4 groups of people sit down at dirty tables, and they sat there for like 15-20 minutes with no acknowledgement and no one coming to clean the dirty tables from the previous customers. They had to get up and ask someone themselves for the table to be cleaned. There were maybe 2 or 3 waiters and maybe 2 or 3 food runners, and it still seemed like they were all overwhelmed. I don't think it should have been as complicated. Not sure who even was our waiter because they kept switching. One runner kept bringing food and drinks to wrong tables, and claimed she was confused because they changed up the patio seating so maybe that had something to do with it.

Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! If you don't like burnt crust edges and less sauce than cheese, you probably won't like this style of pizza. I do wish the crust was a bit thicker. I tried some of the bourbon peach tea slushee and it was refreshing! If I go there to dine-in again, I'll get one. They have 50% off pizzas on Monday so I'd like to come back for that deal.

The Squares Pizza Pub side has a large bar, some back booths, and a good amount of tables. The menu has a variety of appetizers, salads, and pizzas. The pizzas come in two sizes: small (4 slices) or large (8 slices). We ended up ordering a small Sausage & Fennel Pie & Pepperoni Hot Honey Pie. I loved the flavor of the Pepperoni Hot Honey with sweet ricotta and honey that pooled in the pepperoni cups. The crust was crispy yet the center tasty doughy which is true Detroit style. Their pies have a sweeter sauce which I enjoyed as well. It was great to visit when pies were 1/2 off so we could try two flavors. Most specialty pies are $18 for a small and $32 for a large. The owner stopped by our table to see how we liked the pizza and talk about the inspiration behind Squares. This is a great addition to the Bartlett area and I'm so happy I was able to try them out!

The gyros are savory, flavorful and plenty. They really hit the spot. There's so much meat that I sometimes pop over to ALDI afterward just to grab a flatbread and make a second gyro from the leftovers. And I always ask for extra tzatziki sauce to dip my fries in. All in all, a great local spot. They're always adding new items to the menu. They now have handmade tamales made in-house, great masa wrapped in a proper corn husk.
