The food is good food. Not great but every once in a while it's nice for a change. What I don't like is that the owners and management are loud. They were arguing at the front desk one day. So unprofessional. They have a large sign out front which has a joke for the day. Seriously distracting for drivers. Someone didn't think through it. Who wouldn't get Elaine a la Seinfeld vibes from this fabulous Italian eatery? They have the BIG salad ! I am a massive salad fan and not so much on the pizza front. I had the carnivore salad and I really hope that no one that I know watched me inhale the salad quite literally as fast as I could. Although I like to think of myself as a lady I seriously doubt that's what I looked at as I gobbled it up rapidly. Normally I'm too picky and pick things out of the salad thinking I wouldn't like them. I think we didn't have time to do that this time. So I ate the peppers and to my surprise they weren't that hot they actually tasted quite good. My family ordered a large half Hawaiian and chicken bacon ranch . We all shared the raviolis which were all meat and delightful. Our neighbor gave us the recommendation to come to this place saying it was his favorite restaurant and I can easily see why. The server was efficient and kind and tolerated one of our kiddos asking him question after question. We watch does a lady walked out with 15 pizzas this place seems to have loyal customers. As we were finishing our meal a family of 15 came in and everyone hopped up in order to move tables together, it seems like a family business where people feel at home. Although people complain about the price I think the price was fair and I was very happy and satisfied with everything at Rocco's. read more

First time visiting. Dropped in to place a to go order. Young lady was nice and took my order right away. I order the chicken Parmesan pasta with garlic bread and jalapeño bites. Jalapeño bites were good - no dipping sauce? The chicken Parmesan and garlic bread were awful. Garlic bread is cold buttered sub sandwich bread. Very disappointed. My dogs enjoyed it. I had Rocco's lasagna with garlic bread and my friend had their chicken fettuccine alfredo and a side salad. Near the end of the meal, our server brought us complimentary mango ices. Everything was truly delicious, and I can now say that I know a good, local Italian restaurant. I'd highly recommend Rocco's! read more

Twice I have gotten food from Rocco's while I visit my mom in Republic, Missouri. Both times the pizza is so delicious and cooked very well. This Thanksgiving weekend we ordered from there again and I can't get enough of it. Love the crust and the toppings are always fresh. This time we got a half and half pizza of meat lovers and supreme. The tomato slices on the pizza really made it. They were juicy, fresh and extremely delicious. The wings are nice and saucy with a good tang to them. And both times we had to get the fried green beans. They have become a must when I come to visit. I haven't tried their pastas yet, but maybe that will have to be on the list next time I come out. keep making great pizza Roccos. Nothing to be excited about. None of us truly liked our dishes and barely ate the whole plate. Just bland overall, Americanized Italian food joint. I've never had someone cut my chicken parm into pieces before so I was really thrown off at that. My son had the alfredo fettuccini, he had one bite and basically said "nope". Wife had scopella and also set it aside. Garlic knots were probably the only decent thing we've had tonight and didn't even bother to use the tasteless marinara sauce. We grabbed to-go boxes but I watched my wife get out of the car when we got home and she dropped it in the trash can. It was that bad... Head southeast a little bit to Piccolo in Nixa/Battlefield for 10x better tasting food for the same price. Only gave 2 stars because the server was nice and attentive. Ambience was "ok". Quiet overall with very little traffic. Very disappointed as we've wanted to check this joint out but was let down. Won't be coming back read more

Food was decent. The sauce on the lasagna tasted like it was from a can. BUT the portion sizes were amazing. Frustrating that they forgot so many things and even called me to have my husband go BACK to get the dessert THEY forgot to include. No apology even. It was little things, like the spicy ranch for the fried green beans, and 4 sets of silverware for the 4 meals vs only 2 sets (I think they thought my kids would just use their hands??) and they left out a thing of bread for one of the adult meals. First impressions are EVERYTHING. Especially during Covid. I get everyone is doing the very best they can with what they got. Owner didn't want to refund our money after food wasn't cooked all the way through. Expected us to pay for it. Owner is the cook and he treats employees like dirt. This a nice family place with very friendly service...problem is, the food wasn't very good. My salad was almost frozen, the house dressing had little flavor, and the Eggplant Parm was pretty blah. Oh, Rocco's. Your website may be full of improper usage of apostrophes, but I love your pizza. My staple lunch order is their lunch combo, like Brooks in his earlier review. However, I get the Hawaiian calzone (canadian bacon, regular bacon, and pineapple) with a salad. Salad is pretty standard-iceberg, tomatoes, pepperoncini, black olives...the best part is their ranch dressing, and I am a bit of a conoisseur when it comes to fattening salad dressings. They serve it in little portion cups, so I order one ranch with my salad and one with my calzone (which I may or may not eat with my fork straight out of the container). Anyway, back to the calzone--it's probably one of the best I have ever had...consistently. There's no bites with all crust, or all bacon--toppings are spread out well and it's always cooked perfectly. Apparently the sub sandwiches must be tasty too, because every time I eat there, about half the people I spy on are eating subs. The servers are not the fastest, and you may have to repeat your order a couple times...but the food will be worth it. Plus, they serve booze! read more

If it were just a review for food I would give it a 5 star based on our 2 visits. The reason it's 3 star is because of several reasons. 1. As of right now SW. Missouri (Roccos area) is the #1 hot spot for Delta Covid virus. I checked the drink menu which was gummy for lack of a better term. 2. The regular menus are old, faded and curled up on the edges. Obviously no person has cleaned them in forever. (Covid) 3. I'm betting the waiter was new. He was nice but clueless about small things like how big the calzone was. I tipped him well because I didn't think it was his fault. 4. Lastly I wanted to talk with the owner before writing this review to tell him of the issues. If I had I would probably write a glowing review of the calzone and past pizzzas we have ordered. No answer at 2:40 in the afternoon. You know they are not busy. I wish I could give them 5 stars because the food was good but the experience was not. read more

Leave the gun; take the cannoli. This place is a surprise. The calzone is hearty, huge, and delicious. But good cannoli is hard to get in the Midwest. Theirs was really good...so eat half your calzone, box the rest, and get dessert! read more

Came two times now they say it'll be 15-20 minutes and have to wait over 45 minutes last time waited one hour. With two kids this is very frustrating. Hired new younger staff that are only concerned about talking instead of taking your order or apologizing for long wait. Food is usually fine if they don't forget something. Very disappointed in the service. Also while waiting this happened to someone else with a to go order that waited over an hour for a pepperoni pizza. read more

I would have given 0 stars if that were an option. Absolutely avoid this place. It obviously is a start up with more money than common sense. Staff is EXTREMELY UN professional. The food was touted as hand and home made. It was not. The salad dressings when questioned as home made were actually wish bone per the server. The food for the most part is canned or boxed or food service grade poor quality food. I had the manicotti. It was greasy and with a canned overcooked sauce. My wife had the Alfredo pasta with supposedly Italian sausage links. When the plate came it was ground pizza sausage that was not an Italian sausage as advertised. When we questioned this after it was served, we we were told they were out of the links. When they were aware they were out of links they should have advised us of such and offered to substitute an alternative protein. NO alternative was offered. We brought our concerns to the server's attention. She left the table with a "whatever" dismissive attitude. Staff behind the bar appeared to be immature and under age. They were loud and threw trash back and forth at each other. When our concerns were called to the manager on duty's attention the same "who cares" and " oh well" attitude prevailed. For the cost of the meal this is an Epic FAILURE! If you like what I have described, then this is your kind of low bar rating you should love. If you think my opinion matters to your pre-visit decision making process then skip this place!!! read more

I went there one day last week...so craving a pizza. The service was GREAT!... very friendly staff, but the food was just not good. I ordered the Margherita pizza...the center of the pizza was soggy, the fresh basil still had the stems on it and the sauce was tasteless. My husband and I have been coming to Rocco's for about 2 years and noticed a steady decline in the quality and taste of the food...so sad to see this happen. We will be looking for another place to get our pizza. read more
