I was treated like a deadbeat with a zero credit score. (It is actually over 800.) To begin, I was told the diagnosis would cost $199 but would be applied toward the bill if they did the job, which I intended to have them do. They guy came out, looked at my system for about 30 seconds, and told me I had a leaking irrigation valve (which was already obvious to me). He said the system was old and there were other valves ready to fail as well. We agreed that I should just replace them all. I asked for an estimate and he told me he would have one either by phone or email by the end of the day. There was no request for payment so I assumed we would just roll it into the bill for the job. Two days later, I called to ask about the estimate. A lady said they guy was too busy to write it up but she would email me one by the end of the day. Two days after that I sent an email asking about the estimate I still had not received. She said it would be around $1200. I said that I would accept that and to put me on the schedule and send a written version of the estimate. That is when they seemed to get defensive. They said I would need to pay them 50% of the estimate (which I still did not have in writing) before they would even put me on the schedule. After this, and the lack of a timely response earlier, I was getting a little leary of their business. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, however this is not my first rodeo, I told her I would pay the 50% when they showed up to do the job. They did not reply at all after that except to send a bill for the estimate. Not only did they demand payment THAT DAY or face a 35% late fee, but they dated the bill FOUR DAYS prior! I'd had enough of this company by then. I drove a check for the "inspection" over to their "office" and hand delivered it. I would NEVER do business with people who treat customers like this. Good luck if you do. In the end, I think they just wanted a quick buck doing the "inspection" and never intended to do the work. Sad.

We had around 140ft of fence & 2 gates we needed to replace. Juan came out and met with me a couple days after I reached out to give me an in person quote. He was very professional and worked with me to help us finish another project with this house. He and his crew came on a Wednesday and removed the old fence and set posts. Thursday & Friday they completed the fence and gates and it looks beautiful. He even hauled away the old fence for free. We love it. They were supposed to trim a laurel hedge, but decided to only trim it as far up as they could reach without bothering to do the upper couple of feet. It is a horrible mess. They were supposed to re-gravel the driveway, but, brought such a fine-grade gravel that it was more dust than stones. I spoke about that and Sam Hill, the owner, said "It'll be fine once it rains." NO it's not. Most of the "gravel" blew away. It's a lumpy mess. I had also specified that I wanted the gravel to go all the way out to the edges of the current drive. I even said "I want it wide." Wasn't done. I complained and Sam said, "It looks like a nice, strip up the middle." He said if I wanted it out to the edges, he could write up another bid!!!! I had gone out the day before and weeded and made the edges of the drive very clear. These lazy people didn't even bother to move a trash can that was at the side: they just left it un-graveled. They didn't spread gravel over the entire area that is the turn-around either. You can see where they just put their gravel around in patches when they thought they could get away with leaving the old gravel. They cut a 50-year old lilac down to the ground for no reason at all. Apparently, Sam's parents own a nursery, so he "made it right" by putting 2 inch tall cuttings in its place. I objected because lilacs are very slow growing. Sam said "Oh, no...they grow really fast." NOT TRUE. I then went to a nursery and picked out a 4 foot tall lilac that would still not make up for the towering one that had been destroyed, but would be better than cuttings. Sam said he'd go get it. Well, he must have gone back to mom and dad again. They planted a one foot tall weakling that is now dead. I wanted them to plant something to mask my neighbors fence from view. I said something flowering, like a dogwood or cherry. I expected someone who calls himself a landscaper to know plants; to know what would grow in the space indicated. I babied that tree for months, but...it's now dead, too. So, thousands of dollars went for damage and ignorance and laziness and refusal to repair what they ruined. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
