This is the 2nd time we've hired Brandon to complete some bathroom remodeling for us. Brandon was…read morereliable and knowledgeable. He communicated well with us and for scheduling his workers. He completed the job in a timely manner. He is an expert with wood products, finishing and framing.

I contacted Precision Woodworks when I needed help with an interior stair remodel. Not being…read morefamiliar with exactly how to attack it and not knowing what I'd run into doing it myself, I needed professional help. Brandon was quick to answer my call and fit me in his already busy schedule. He was professional, kind, honest, and fair. I had a vision of what I wanted to do for my stairs and it wasn't easy. The existing stairs were steep with short risers and tall treads, and my wife and little girls were all a bit nervous every time going up and down them. Without completely tearing all the walls down and/or having to extend the stairs into our living room, Brandon came in like an architect and helped design and layout the stairs before he did any work. This way, I knew exactly what he was going to do, got a great visual for how they were going to look, and he was able to give me an accurate and precise estimate. He showed up prepared, and with his mobile wood shop that he custom built. Not only did it have all of his tools, equipment, and materials perfectly organized in it, but it also transformed into a full on shop with a table saw, compound miter saw and table, work bench, drill press, router table, and each tool was connected to a custom made sawdust collector. I knew from the start Brandon was going to produce a quality product, and he did just that. He made a plan, was able to navigate quickly through the typical challenges of this particular remodel, and completed it within the schedule that I needed him to. His pricing was fair and I couldn't be happier using Precision Woodworks as my design-builder for my project. If you're looking for a trustworthy, fair priced, quality, and professional general contractor for your job, Brandon is your man.

I was lied to several times over the last year by Chris! Was supposed to repair the leaking roof…read moreover the new covered porch I paid him over $9000.00 to build. He cut corners and did it as cheap as possible. I also paid him to repair my front gate to prevent my dogs from getting out of the yard. He messed that up also as the gate hangs crooked leaving a gap my dogs can get through. I have photos as evidence and would not recommend his services as he does not keep his word. I will be following up with a complaint filed with the BBB of Washington. I have the texts he sent saying he would correct the failures and make the repairs although he never kept his promises. I have the texts and photos as evidence. It's been over a year now.

We had DBLstructures install a metal gate into an existing chain link fence about a month ago…read more Pros: They gave a really competitive price. Also, while they originally installed a gate of the wrong size (4ft instead of 5) without measuring first, I appreciate that these guys came back to put in a gate of the correct size. That was the biggest issue and it's now fixed. Cons: The installation wasn't very professional. The top bar that was cut to make room for the gate is just kind of hanging, unsupported. It's pressed against the post, but it won't support much weight if someone ever tries to jump the fence. The post they put in was supposed to have cement per the contract, but they never poured any. The gate latch isn't tight--the gate can be pushed open even when latched closed. Hopefully they'll fix these at some point and I can update the review in the future. Overall, I do have a gate, but I wish I had spent more money and gone with a more experienced contractor.

Worked with Zak at Precision Railing Solutions LLC on a railing job. Looking at his photos on yelp…read morewhich showed his beautiful custom work, I was worried that I would not be able to afford him. I needed a custom rail installed on the entry stairs of our new to us home. I'm old and my knees are bad so I need something sturdy to hang onto. Zak designs, custom fabricates/powder paints and installs ADA compliant custom railing for all sorts of businesses in the area. He dropped by one night to measure the area I needed a rail in. He made great suggestions on what might work best for me and meticulously measured out my area. Today he installed the rail into the cement of my porch. It is a sturdy sturdy rail, a beefy thick suprisingly artistic looking rectangular rail powder coated a semi-gloss black finish and it is just perfect. His price was very reasonable. When I showed him a loose porch beam and asked him for any suggestions on repairing it, he fixed it for me. He threw that in because he said it would only take a moment and a couple of long bolts. Zak finished the rail job today by meticulously cleaning the railing and base until it was all shiny. As I watched him clean it, he talked to me about how he always gives his best effort in his work. He tries to go above and beyond what is requested so that people will notice that he cares. Zak is good people. He is fair, honest, reliable, kind and he cares about the work he does. I would recommend him to anyone, everyone.

They were supposed to trim a laurel hedge, but decided to only trim it as far up as they could reach without bothering to do the upper couple of feet. It is a horrible mess. They were supposed to re-gravel the driveway, but, brought such a fine-grade gravel that it was more dust than stones. I spoke about that and Sam Hill, the owner, said "It'll be fine once it rains." NO it's not. Most of the "gravel" blew away. It's a lumpy mess. I had also specified that I wanted the gravel to go all the way out to the edges of the current drive. I even said "I want it wide." Wasn't done. I complained and Sam said, "It looks like a nice, strip up the middle." He said if I wanted it out to the edges, he could write up another bid!!!! I had gone out the day before and weeded and made the edges of the drive very clear. These lazy people didn't even bother to move a trash can that was at the side: they just left it un-graveled. They didn't spread gravel over the entire area that is the turn-around either. You can see where they just put their gravel around in patches when they thought they could get away with leaving the old gravel. They cut a 50-year old lilac down to the ground for no reason at all. Apparently, Sam's parents own a nursery, so he "made it right" by putting 2 inch tall cuttings in its place. I objected because lilacs are very slow growing. Sam said "Oh, no...they grow really fast." NOT TRUE. I then went to a nursery and picked out a 4 foot tall lilac that would still not make up for the towering one that had been destroyed, but would be better than cuttings. Sam said he'd go get it. Well, he must have gone back to mom and dad again. They planted a one foot tall weakling that is now dead. I wanted them to plant something to mask my neighbors fence from view. I said something flowering, like a dogwood or cherry. I expected someone who calls himself a landscaper to know plants; to know what would grow in the space indicated. I babied that tree for months, but...it's now dead, too. So, thousands of dollars went for damage and ignorance and laziness and refusal to repair what they ruined. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
