It had rained a lot and they came to mow. Well, you know what happened. Because of the rain, their mower was too heavy and left deep marks in our brand new lawn. Rather than stop mowing when they started to sink, they just kept mowing. We called and the owner came out to check it out. Due to the wet weather, he assured us they would take care of it. We called when the weather was dry. He finally came out but we had just mowed and they couldn't see how the ride on the mower was not smooth. When y husband went over the spots that sank when they mowed, it was like going over pot holes. Every time we called, we were promised they would call because they do the schedule on Fri. It is now mid Aug and we are still waiting for a call. We are sick of having them tell us they will call back. We finally called them and told them to forget it - that we would do it ourselves. Guess that was the answer they wanted from the beginning. They should have told us that.

I hired Rain Pros because I had a downspout that was clogged where it went underground. They were…read moreable to clean out a lot of mud/roots, etc. but were not able to get their snake more that 4 feet into the underground pipe, possibly because of some sort of T junction. We then went to plan B, which was to install a new underground pipe with a "popup" to disperse the water onto the driveway. The installation looks very good, but the true test will come when we have a heavy rainstorm. The reason why I gave only 4 stars was because of their arrival time. They had an arrival window of 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm but they showed up just after 10:00 am! Fortunately, we were available at that time (and not out walking the dog). My experience with most contractors is that they will call or text to let you know when they're on the way and give you an ETA - I received neither. Again, the quality of their work appears top-notch, but the lack of timely communication should be addressed.

After several incredibly stressful days without water, I cannot recommend Brian Clarke highly…read moreenough. Our water went out unexpectedly due to what we believed was a major well failure. With a large three-story home, multiple bathrooms, an indoor pool, extensive plumbing, and a complex well system serving the property, we feared the worst. We even had other professionals come out, and while they were courteous and tried their best, no one could pinpoint the problem. Brian arrived, immediately approached the situation with confidence, experience, and professionalism, and quickly identified that the primary issue was a leak in our irrigation system along with a pressure tank that needed replacement. Thanks to his expertise, he had our water restored that same day so our family of five--including my young grandson--could make it through the weekend. He then returned exactly as promised, replaced the pressure tank, completed the repairs, and had everything operating perfectly. What impressed me most wasn't just his technical ability--it was his character. Brian genuinely cared about getting our family back on our feet. He never made us feel like just another customer, and it was obvious his priority was solving the problem, not maximizing the bill. His pricing was incredibly fair, especially considering the complexity of the work and the time he invested. In a world where trust and craftsmanship can be difficult to find, Brian Clarke stands out as someone who truly earns both. His knowledge, honesty, work ethic, and commitment to doing the job right are exceptional. I would recommend him without hesitation to any family, homeowner, or military member looking for someone they can completely trust. Thank you, Brian, for restoring more than our water--you restored our peace of mind. A & C Miller

He measured my yard, took soil samples and I felt like he really listened when we discussed my needs, which was a vast improvement over the estimate I had gotten previously from a larger local company. When the estimate came in, we felt that the cost was very fair for the work that needs to be done. While Josh was here and we were talking, he asked me if I had heard of Project Evergreen. I hadn't, and he explained that it's a program where volunteers care for the lawns of deployed service members and disabled veterans. We are an Army family and I was touched by this organization. My husband is away quite a bit and when Josh learned this, he told me that Mint Landscapes would be taking care of my yard for the next few months. I was flabbergasted! His crew has come twice now and they are quick, courteous and incredibly professional. Mowing the lawn can seem like such a menial task, but when you've got two little kids and a spouse who isn't home...it's a weight off of my shoulders and a huge help. The team at Mint are truly blessings and I'm beyond grateful for their generosity. I look forward to continuing to use them for our lawn and landscape needs!!
